Many people ask, how do I grow in hearing the voice of God?
You listen and wait for Him to act upon His Word.
On this trip to Africa in 1999 (pictured below with some of the beautiful local girls in a church in Ghana), the Lord told me months prior that everyone on our team would be baptized with the Holy Spirit before the trip was over. I said, “oh, I didn’t know everyone wasn’t”. As time went on in the weeks leading up to the trip, team members were filled, and during the trip the word of the Lord completely came about just as He said.
Years later circa 2008 I was vacuuming my apartment in Colorado when I heard the Lord speak to me who the next President was going to be. I had little interest, but the lesson was the Lord was teaching me how to govern. I wrote it down, watched and waited. I barely knew the name of this person, and many months later Obama became our 44th President just as the Lord had spoken to me.
You hear better by listening, watching and waiting. This is how your confidence grows – not by looking at yourself, but by listening to Him.
From small matters to larger and even on global scales, this is how you grow. You steward, and just as Jesus, you only do (or say) what the Father is doing AND you must be willing to wait.
Eventually, prophecy flows like a river that can even be hard to keep up with. You will see and immediately have understanding. Words of knowledge are sharper, the pauses in visions may be less frequent, and you may have so much revelation it could seem intimidating to steward. In times of overflow, or in times of waiting – whether it’s immediate understanding, a dream that is fulfilled that same week, or years of watching – it all comes back to listening. Listen, watch, wait. In the Kingdom we listen before we watch (see).
“Listen and hear my voice; Listen carefully and hear my words.” Isaiah 28:23 AMP
“The sheep that are My own hear My voice and listen to Me; I know them, and they follow Me.” John 10:27 AMP
Children call upon their parents often, “Mom! Mom! .. Dad! Dad!” – I love what Jeremiah 33:3 writes “‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’” Three is the number of the Spirit and as we know the Trinity is (3) persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Rest assured He’s listening, and therefore we respond like Him. May we all be like eager little children who are always growing and learning, ready to hear what our Father is saying! Fill our eyes with wonder that we may see You rightly Lord.
This past Sunday June 4th while in worship at the beginning of church service I had one of the most beautiful and liberating encounters with the Lord. Almost immediately after I closed my eyes in worship I had a vision of the feet of Jesus on the cross. Though I’ve seen this many times before, I couldn’t stand long, He is worthy of anything and everything I could bring in worship to Him. There was such tangible adoration, His worthiness and holiness were overwhelming, and I just wanted to love on Him. As I found myself bowing before Him with my face to the floor my body was now engaged in an encounter. It felt as though I were laying prostrate and I could feel my body sinking into the earth. My body was dissipating lower than ground level and the feeling of “nothingness” was the most freeing part of this encounter. I then had another vision and I was now a pool of liquid gold before the Lord. I had already been ‘weepy’ though now I was laughing and crying. As a seer since childhood, I can honestly write this encounter was more impactful than the angels I’ve seen or spoken with, more than the power and manifestations experienced, yes being laid before the Lord as pool of liquid was complete liberation.
To die is gain.
“For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.” Philippians 1:21 NIV
“My true life is the Anointed One, and dying means gaining more of him.” Philippians 1:21 TPT
Though “the art of dying” seems to be my lifelong message and I’ve written or spoken about it more times than I can count – this was different. As proved to be so in the immediate intense opposition I faced after. Why the onslaught? Because the enemy doesn’t want you to die, he wants you to have self remaining for himself. He hates the yielded Bride because of what is accomplished in unity – unity throughout the Body, and especially unity with the Lord Himself. He hates Oneness because he wants to “be the one”. The accuser can not multiply, he only knows subtraction though craftily understands the power of agreement, so he incessantly accuses the Bride hoping she gives way with her agreement.
“The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” John 10:10 NKJV
We increase and are empowered in our divine union with Christ. “In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [draw your strength from Him and be empowered through your union with Him] and in the power of His [boundless] might.” Ephesians 6:10 AMP
Earthly power is found in our will. Heavenly power is found in surrender.
There are many moving parts to explaining spiritual warfare – though in short I had to ask the Lord immediately leaving church what was going on because how could I have such a powerful encounter only to be “wailed on” all through service. There are a few things I am not going to get into, but the main beast in the field up close and personal was Leviathan. The serpent twisting, distorting, and manipulating the truth. (I posted on this Sunday on my FB page).
We all have different “beasts” and “giants” to conquer as we continue to move forward in destiny and in our promised lands. But this is the spirit after the Bride right now. If the enemy can distract you, he can get your attention, giving him too much attention he can talk with you, if he can talk with you he can deceive you, if he can deceive you he can get your agreement and with your agreement he has your will, your “power”. A few months back I had a prophetic dream where the Lord was showing me this same visual image of an enormous sea serpent that was aiming to wipe out humanity by deception. If the enemy has your agreement he has your will power, and eventually you succumb or surrender to him.
We make understanding our life on the earth so complicated. There is a tug of war for your soul and it never stops until we graduate into eternity. This does not mean we are incessantly caught up in warfare, because that is the distraction for many believers. But there are times, especially now as we are in a quickly changing and “crossing over” season we need to be on guard.
What now? What to do when things such as this occur? Seek the Lord with all of your heart. Seek Him until you find Him! Seek Him until peace floods your being, seek Him and do not stop until His presence is found! “Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you, says the Lord, and I will bring you back from your captivity; I will gather you from all the nations and from all the places where I have driven you, says the Lord, and I will bring you to the place from which I cause you to be carried away captive.” Jeremiah 29:12-14 NKJV
Of course He never leaves, but I am writing of the connection of Oneness. You may say I am one with Him, we had communion yesterday, or last week or even this morning… you may say you talk to Him everyday but are you One with Him? Especially in the days we are heading into we need His breath to be our breath, this is vital union that Paul wrote about! It’s day by day and moment by moment, living in a place of union – the state of I am in You Lord, and You are in me.
As I pondered with the Lord the vision of liquid gold, I was never happier to be nothing. I felt impressed that now I could be molded into something – whatever He would desire. The Holy Spirit brought wedding bands to mind. As I’ve thought about this vision often over the last three days, I continue to think about the wedding bands with emphasis, so last night I began to research how they are made. There are two methods: hammer and anvil method and casting method.
In the hammer and anvil method the gold is softened and beaten into shape, it does not become liquid. The yellow gold is usually heated to around 1250 F followed by water quenching – “water quenching” is after you fire the metal and dip it in water to prevent it from becoming brittle and breaking while increasing strength and hardness (durability).
Gold casting – “becoming liquid gold” requires a hotter temperature of 1627 F to 2006 F to melt the gold depending on the type of gold used, and if there are any alloy’s. It is then poured directly into a mold.
Traditionally when two people enter marriage to become one in covenant they purchase each other wedding bands. The man gives the woman an engagement ring as a promise most often, and he purchases a wedding band for the wife to put on her finger during the ceremony. The woman purchases her soon to be Bridegroom his wedding band to also be placed on his finger during the ceremony.
As the Bridegroom, Jesus has already given us the promise and we are His betrothed. He also has purchased His Bride by offering His life as the perfect sacrifice for eternal Oneness with Him. We will receive the gold band He has sized for us at the wedding ceremony. You see He already poured Himself out for us, He already made the mold. The offering of our Bridegroom’s life we receive in full when in Heaven (complete Oneness for eternity), symbolically when He places the gold band on our finger (that He made by pouring out His life as liquid gold). Jesus is inviting us to follow His costly example that we may offer Him gold refined in fire. Our costly offering is our life cast into the mold He has made for us – for Himself. The liquid gold we become is for Him, its symbolic of the ring He forms for Himself. I was asking the Lord recently how do you “present to Yourself” a pure Bride? Now whether or not we actually wear rings in Heaven is not the point, symbolically it is when we fit the same mold He made with His emptied life and in turn offer our lives back to Him in this way, that He would present to Himself a pure and spotless Bride.
I believe the two methods of making gold bands are relevant to our transfiguration process. I think many of us have gone through softening by fire, the beating, forming and heating, and polishing process (hammer and anvil method), and we have have been water quenched by baptism. I believe many of us are beautiful gold wedding bands. Some with more intricate details than others. What was interesting in my research was that to re-melt a filigree, intricate or more detailed band of gold it would require more heat. For me, I love the details, I love intricacies. But I suggest in our transfiguration process and in our becoming like Him from glory to glory, the more intense the process and heat becomes. Maturity requires surrender. And we go from maturity to maturity and surrender to surrender. The risk is greater. The ask is “more”, though by this juncture His increase Has become more in us so that ironically it doesn’t feel like a greater ask because there’s less of us. This is when we move to the phase of casting. Will we yield and become liquid gold? Though it is all to become like Him and for Him even at this juncture, is it worth it all? Will you yield even the beauty He has already made in you? Will you give Him the gold band that you have already become? This yielding requires a greater intensity of heat than the last formation, but is He worthy? Yes He is! This is the beautiful symbolism to becoming One with our Bridegroom King. We are continually “water quenched” because we are One with the Word Himself (we are cleansed by the washing of the water of the Word).
Do you see why the enemy is so jealous of you? Why he wants to distract you? The beautiful art of death and yielding is the most imposed on because he understands the power of it.
To die is gain.
Though I had this vision I don’t count myself as to have already attained it. I pray so. May this be the posture of Your Bride, Lord, help us continually give ourselves to you.
“He must increase, but I must decrease.” John 3:30 NKJV
This is the passage the Lord led me to after service on Sunday. This is the beautiful description of laying down one’s life for another in union just as Christ has done for us.
“Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish. So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself. For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as the Lord does the church. For we are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones. “For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.” This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the church. Nevertheless let each one of you in particular so love his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.” Ephesians 5:25-33 NKJV
The Lord quickened in my spirit today “it is a time of coming forth”. So many of us have been bewildered by timing, but now it is the time to “behold”. Behold, for the Word of the Lord is coming to pass. This is the time in which you shall see! It is the time where what was birthed in the spirit will be birthed in the natural – on earth as it is in Heaven. And “suddenly” it shall appear! Behold, the promises of the Lord are ’yes’ and ‘amen’. Behold, this is your time to see!
The etymology of the word ‘forth’ is an adjective meaning to bring forward, onward, farther; continually.
The etymology of the word ‘behold’ is a verb from Old English bihaldan (West Saxon behealdan) “give regard to, hold in view,” also “keep hold of; belong to,” from be- + haldan, healdan.
Keep in view, continue to look, for what the Lord has ordained He is now bringing forward into sight. What was alive in the Spirit will now become alive in the natural as the Lord performs His Word. Behold, look at the Mighty Hand of the Lord!
“Moreover the word of the Lord came to me, saying, “Jeremiah, what do you see?” And I said, “I see a branch of an almond tree.” Then the Lord said to me, “You have seen well, for I am ready to perform My word.”” Jeremiah 1:11-12 NKJV
“So don’t lose your bold, courageous faith, for you are destined for a great reward! You need the strength of endurance to reveal the poetry of God’s will and then you receive the promise in full. For soon and very soon, “The One who is appearing will come without delay!”” Hebrews 10:35-37 TPT
“And the Lord answered me and said, Write the vision and engrave it so plainly upon tablets that everyone who passes may [be able to] read [it easily and quickly] as he hastens by. For the vision is yet for an appointed time and it hastens to the end [fulfillment]; it will not deceive or disappoint. Though it tarry, wait [earnestly] for it, because it will surely come; it will not be behindhand on its appointed day. [Heb. 10:37, 38.]” Habakkuk 2:2-3 AMPC
The Lord does not withhold from us so why do we withhold from others? Withholding is a form of control and at the root of that control is fear.
There are different manifestations of withholding, however in tandem with Proverbs 18:21, I am addressing withholding in speech. “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it and indulge it will eat its fruit and bear the consequences of their words.” Many people will think grateful thoughts, kind thoughts about others and the like, but they will never speak them out. That is an example of withholding.
Often times we have the best intentions, however the very words bless, encourage, and exhort all require speech – aka one’s mouth! A great mishap of our brain is that when we’ve thought about something long enough, we actually think we’ve done or said the task – not true! How many of us have sheepishly responded to a lack of follow through with, “well, I thought about it” hoping to achieve brownie points for non-completion? It is literally our brains excuse. While of course we are growing and learning, I really believe this is an area lacking in our culture. We simply don’t take the time to love others well. We’ve tricked ourselves into a clear conscious believing action was accomplished through our thoughts. While we are to guard our hearts and speech to bring forth life, we must be careful that this guarding does not give way to fear. I’m not talking about flattery either, I’m talking about true and intentional affirmation, exhortation, and honor that translates as love in action displayed in speech.
Our greatest Blessing and Blessor is the Lord, His example of love in action through speech at the time of Creation comes to mind. As the book of Genesis writes, not only did the Lord use His mouth to speak mankind and creation into existence, He used His mouth to bless us and call all that He created good. The process of creation (LIFE) was not complete until He spoke the blessing. Over the seven days we read over again “God said, God made, God called, God blessed”. It would appear three of four actions were in speech; the Triune Godhead in perfect unity through expressive decree over all of life.
The Patriarchs followed this example at Creation when they were passing on the family blessing, this was considered a very honored and holy time. The blessing of the sons, children, and land was not communicated through a scroll, the blessing was spoken and the words were life and they were upheld as the highest truth. The father’s blessing (or curse) was unalterable, it held prophecy and inheritance rights – their future “lot” was literally hinged on the father’s spoken blessing.
We bless and affectionately praise the Lord, as He is rightfully due. And we love because He first loved us, however I believe in the Body we are not yet complete because we lack in this area of spoken blessing. We are not yet fully inheriting all that is ours, and it’s going to take an all in effort to begin speaking forth the blessing to all the members of the Single Body through appreciation and encouragement. What if your left foot only heard signals from the brain whenever it made a mistake or tripped. It probably would not want to run… and what if your heart never heard that it was loved, it may beat a bit slower than the others. Perhaps the right ear only hears when the left hand is pointing a finger? It would probably be scared to hear and closed off. Or… what if the brain loved all of the members and limbs of the body and was so grateful, but rarely told them so? My guess is the members and limbs didn’t get the signal, and they became despondent, weak, and perhaps feeble.
Though we all need healthy encouragement and affirmation, for some it is the very language by which they are able to receive love. May we be the lovers of God in this way, bringing life through the blessing of our speech.
“Nothing is more appealing than speaking beautiful, life-giving words. For they release sweetness to our souls and inner healing to our spirits.” Proverbs 16:24 TPT
“Anxious fear brings depression, but a life-giving word of encouragement can do wonders to restore joy to the heart.” Proverbs 12:25 TPT
“Therefore encourage (admonish, exhort) one another and edify (strengthen and build up) one another, just as you are doing.” 1 Thessalonians 5:11 AMPC
“So let us then definitely aim for and eagerly pursue what makes for harmony and for mutual upbuilding (edification and development) of one another.” Romans 14:19 AMPC
“In that way, whatever happens to one member happens to all. If one suffers, everyone suffers. If one is honored, everyone rejoices.” 1 Corinthians 12:26 TPT
“And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.” Hebrews 10:24-25 NKJV
“The lips of the [uncompromisingly] righteous feed and guide many, but fools die for want of understanding and heart.” Proverbs 10:21 AMPC
“A man has joy in giving an appropriate answer, And how good and delightful is a word spoken at the right moment—how good it is!”Proverbs 15:23 AMP
“[The Servant of God says] The Lord God has given Me the tongue of a disciple and of one who is taught, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him who is weary. He wakens Me morning by morning, He wakens My ear to hear as a disciple [as one who is taught].” Isaiah 50:4 AMPC
Love is the missing puzzle piece, for at the root of anything missing in our lives there we will find a lack of love. Every one of God’s perfect promises, ways, and truths are fulfilled, followed, and believed through love. We love because He first loved us, therefore we must learn to receive from Him for we cannot give to others what we have not been able to accept ourselves.
Any place we have not been Fathered by Love there will be a deficit (from emotions to finances and anything in between). May our goal be that we become so transformed by Love Himself that we are complete with nothing missing and nothing lacking- for in our seeking, yielding and finding we are changed and energized from glory to glory.
God is Love ~ Selah. Let this truth permeate through your being, as you meditate on Him and allow Him to heal any lack in your life you will then find grace in running your race. When we seek the Lord with all of our hearts, we will find His heart. His cords of love draw us into His heart and when we completely attach to Him here oneness is attained.
May Love be the beautiful prize for which we run! Jesus’ heart is the reward, knowing Him is the prize! This is the greatest determining of one’s future – how well do you know Him, and how well do you love? “They will know you are Christians by your love” isn’t just a cute song or glossed over Scripture. It means what it says, you will know someone is a follower of Christ – better yet how well they know Christ by how well they love. To be Christ-like is synonymous with Love-like; loving like Christ.
What a gift, what a Savior, what a Love … He found me and I found Him; I am nothing without Love, I am nothing without Him. At whatever cost, may I learn to love and honor You Lord (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) and others well.
“Until then, there are three things that remain: faith, hope, and love—yet love surpasses them all. So above all else, let love be the beautiful prize for which you run.” 1 Corinthians 13:13 TPT
“And now there remain: faith [abiding trust in God and His promises], hope [confident expectation of eternal salvation], love [unselfish love for others growing out of God’s love for me], these three [the choicest graces]; but the greatest of these is love.” 1 Corinthians 13:13 AMP
“The one who does not love has not become acquainted with God [does not and never did know Him], for God is love. [He is the originator of love, and it is an enduring attribute of His nature.]” 1 John 4:8 AMP
“Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us. This is how we know that we live in him and he in us: He has given us of his Spirit.” 1 John 4:7-13 NIV
“If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.” 1 Corinthians 13:1-7 NIV
Sometimes it is the simple things that are the most profound. There is no other God besides Him, tell me what other god gives you His care for earthly cares? Come to the Great Shepherd, allow Jesus to tenderly care for you – trust, surrender, yield these cares to Him and “leave them there”, for He knows your frame and remembers you are but dust.
The Lord is calling you into a deeper realm of trust – it’s a place of abiding in Him, here there is no fear, no worry, no lack, no need, just His tenderness that fills our weaknesses with more of Himself. Go lower still and allow yourself to become more fully dependent upon Him, for this is the most beautiful and profound exchange – His care for our cares. If you are humble enough to trust Him and surrender these cares, and LEAVE THEM with Him, it means they are no longer with you. This is the place you were meant for, union with Him that allows you to ascend above the earthly weights and cares. Thank you Jesus.
“Pour out all your worries and stress upon him and leave them there, for he always tenderly cares for you.” 1 Peter 5:7 TPT
“Casting the whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully. [Ps. 55:22.]” 1 Peter 5:7 AMPC
“As a father loves and pities his children, so the Lord loves and pities those who fear Him [with reverence, worship, and awe]. For He knows our frame, He [earnestly] remembers and imprints [on His heart] that we are dust.” Psalm 103:13-14 AMPC
“Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition (definite requests), with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God. And God’s peace [shall be yours, that tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God and being content with its earthly lot of whatever sort that is, that peace] which transcends all understanding shall garrison and mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7 AMPC
Do not be deceived. Gifting is not the mark or sign of maturity, it is the renewed mind transformed by Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit that marks a person unto maturity. (1 Corinthians chapters 1-3)
All of creation is longing, and even groaning with expectation for the revealing of God’s mature sons and daughters (Romans 8: 22,23). Maturity is not even always a measure of natural experience inasmuch as it is a supernaturally transformed mind. In other words, the revealed mindsets of Christ that are adhered to will always supersede man’s natural experience – hence the phrase “this person is very spiritually mature”, which is not based on age alone.
Once again, the evidence of gifting is not the sign of maturity, it is the adopted / transfused mindset of Christ. If you want to be a new man, you need a new mind – the mind of Christ.
Growing in gifting is profitable, however renewing your mind supersedes the fruit of the gifts abilities. To be spiritually mature is to think as Christ.
A beautiful picture is the crown of thorns that our Lord wore upon His head. What a magnificent inheritance we have; a mind of life in exchange for the mind of death. Riches too incomprehensible, though can be received all by changing one’s mind.
“Evil men do not understand justice, but they who crave and seek the Lord understand it fully. [John 7:17; I Cor. 2:15; I John 2:20, 27.]” Proverbs 28:5 AMPC
When you crave spiritual food, spiritual sight is opened. The hungry shall be filled … This is a principle that applies in all realms, as it said, we become what we behold. So then may our focus be upon the Lord, that our eyes may see Him who is high and lifted up above all injustice. “Come up here” – this is the place we see Him rightly and understand His ways and nature. The word understand in the scripture above means to discern, we distinguish by the eye as we behold Him! When we crave and seek the Lord, we naturally ascend to the higher heights in the spirit realm and are filled with His Presence, the Bread of Life.
Understanding comes from revelation, and revelation comes with time and intimacy. One of my favorite verses below writes so beautifully ~
“As for me, I will continue beholding Your face in righteousness (rightness, justice, and right standing with You); I shall be fully satisfied, when I awake [to find myself] beholding Your form [and having sweet communion with You].” Psalm 17:15 AMPC
Some are in the wrestle of their lives to see the promises of the Lord fulfilled. For me it reaches far beyond a personal promise, for I desire and long to see the Lord dwell continually with a people here on earth; the restoration of Eden. The resistance to this fulfillment is beyond anything I’ve wrestled before, though as an encouragement we must remain faithful and remind ourselves of the large picture at hand especially when we find ourselves serving a militant mission with little to no support in the natural. We see things we didn’t ask to see, experience things we didn’t know we were signing up for, such is the way of the bond-servant of The Commander of the army of the Lord.
Big wrestle for big breakthrough. Certainly I would have despaired had I not believed I would see the goodness of the Lord … the Lord reminded me last week of the verse in Matthew 11:12, “And from the days of John the Baptist until the present time, the kingdom of heaven has endured violent assault, and violent men seize it by force [as a precious prize–a share in the heavenly kingdom is sought with most ardent zeal and intense exertion].” AMPC
We may fall weak, but the Lord is strong! THERE SHALL BE ‘the breaking in of the Kingdom which makes its way in spite of all resistance’!
The zeal and fire of the Lord is rising in His servants, those He is raising to rule alongside Him, and they will take by force what belongs to Him when necessary.
“Teach me Your way, O Lord, And lead me on a level path Because of my enemies [who lie in wait]. Do not give me up to the will of my adversaries, For false witnesses have come against me; They breathe out violence. I would have despaired had I not believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord In the land of the living. Wait for and confidently expect the Lord; Be strong and let your heart take courage; Yes, wait for and confidently expect the Lord.” Psalms 27:11-14
“After that I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse [appeared]! The One Who was riding it is called Faithful (Trustworthy, Loyal, Incorruptible, Steady) and True, and He passes judgment and wages war in righteousness (holiness, justice, and uprightness). [Ezek. 1:1.] His eyes [blaze] like a flame of fire, and on His head are many kingly crowns (diadems); and He has a title (name) inscribed which He alone knows or can understand. [Dan. 10:6.] He is dressed in a robe dyed by dipping in blood, and the title by which He is called is The Word of God. And the troops of heaven, clothed in fine linen, dazzling and clean, followed Him on white horses. From His mouth goes forth a sharp sword with which He can smite (afflict, strike) the nations; and He will shepherd and control them with a staff (scepter, rod) of iron. He will tread the winepress of the fierceness of the wrath and indignation of God the All-Ruler (the Almighty, the Omnipotent). [Ps. 2:9.] And on His garment (robe) and on His thigh He has a name (title) inscribed, king of kings and Lord of Lords. [Deut. 10:17; Dan. 2:47.]” Revelation 19:11-16 AMPC
Do not be afraid to let out your war cry, for when you do, you will breathe out the fire of the Lord! May the zeal for His House consume you!
He is worthy to be worshiped in purity, without mixture, in Spirit and in Truth.
I can’t get over it, may I never desire to get over this love. If we love Jesus, we receive ALL of Him, AND the Father and Holy Spirit. They will ALL come live with you and make for themselves a special dwelling place in you! They are One and desire to be one with us as they are One. Glory be to God, we are not worthy yet He makes us worthy by receiving Him and the work of the cross, He stays forever when we obey His teaching and we abide and remain in Him. Thank you Jesus. Thank you Father. Thank you Holy Spirit! What an honor to receive and experience this Love. May we never lose this precious wonder that the Creator of the Heaven’s and earth chooses to abide with man. We are chosen, we are loved.
“Jesus answered, If a person [really] loves Me, he will keep My word [obey My teaching]; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home (abode, special dwelling place) with him.” John 14:23 AMPC
“Dwell in Me, and I will dwell in you. [Live in Me, and I will live in you.] Just as no branch can bear fruit of itself without abiding in (being vitally united to) the vine, neither can you bear fruit unless you abide in Me. I am the Vine; you are the branches. Whoever lives in Me and I in him bears much (abundant) fruit. However, apart from Me [cut off from vital union with Me] you can do nothing. When you bear (produce) much fruit, My Father is honored and glorified, and you show and prove yourselves to be true followers of Mine. I have loved you, [just] as the Father has loved Me; abide in My love [continue in His love with Me]. If you keep My commandments [if you continue to obey My instructions], you will abide in My love and live on in it, just as I have obeyed My Father’s commandments and live on in His love. I have told you these things, that My joy and delight may be in you, and that your joy and gladness may be of full measure and complete and overflowing. This is My commandment: that you love one another [just] as I have loved you. No one has greater love [no one has shown stronger affection] than to lay down (give up) his own life for his friends. You are My friends if you keep on doing the things which I command you to do.” John 15:4-5, 8-14 AMPC
“SEE WHAT [an incredible] quality of love the Father has given (shown, bestowed on) us, that we should [be permitted to] be named and called and counted the children of God! And so we are! The reason that the world does not know (recognize, acknowledge) us is that it does not know (recognize, acknowledge) Him.” 1 John 3:1 AMPC
