The Hungry Shall Be Filled

“Evil men do not understand justice, but they who crave and seek the Lord understand it fully. [John 7:17; I Cor. 2:15; I John 2:20, 27.]” ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭28‬:‭5‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

When you crave spiritual food, spiritual sight is opened. The hungry shall be filled … This is a principle that applies in all realms, as it said, we become what we behold. So then may our focus be upon the Lord, that our eyes may see Him who is high and lifted up above all injustice. “Come up here” – this is the place we see Him rightly and understand His ways and nature. The word understand in the scripture above means to discern, we distinguish by the eye as we behold Him! When we crave and seek the Lord, we naturally ascend to the higher heights in the spirit realm and are filled with His Presence, the Bread of Life.

Understanding comes from revelation, and revelation comes with time and intimacy. One of my favorite verses below writes so beautifully ~

“As for me, I will continue beholding Your face in righteousness (rightness, justice, and right standing with You); I shall be fully satisfied, when I awake [to find myself] beholding Your form [and having sweet communion with You].” Psalm‬ ‭17‬:‭15‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

Taste & See

Spiritual fulfillment is for those who are hungry. The more you want to see, the more you have to taste. One of the Hebrew meanings of the word ‘see’ in this passage is ‘to experience’. It is possible for you to experience God AND be fulfilled, the flavors discovered in His presence are past finding out. I believe many are hungry because they “know” there is more but have not experienced it yet. Go deep in His Word and presence and I am positive you will discover something within you have not tasted of beforehand. You can have as much of Him as you desire – the hungrier you arrive at the banqueting feast, the more of Him you will find.

“Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭34:8‬ ‭NKJV‬

‬ “How sweet are Your words to my taste, Sweeter than honey to my mouth!”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭119:103‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

““Blessed [joyful, nourished by God’s goodness] are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness [those who actively seek right standing with God], for they will be [completely] satisfied.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5:6‬ ‭AMP‬‬

“And He said to me, Son of man, eat this scroll that I give you and fill your stomach with it. Then I ate it, and it was as sweet as honey in my mouth.”
‭‭Ezekiel‬ ‭3:3‬ ‭AMPC‬‬
