Living Flame

~ moving from common to sacred

Consecration is not a ‘one and done’ type of work in the believers life, it is a ‘forever and always’ until we are one with Christ in eternity.

This is how we are continually transformed into His likeness here on earth; through yeilding, obedience and surrender. As we behold His form, we are changed from from glory to glory.

“And we all, with unveiled face, continually seeing as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are progressively being transformed into His image from [one degree of] glory to [even more] glory, which comes from the Lord, [who is] the Spirit.” 2 Corinthians‬ ‭3:18‬ ‭AMP‬‬

To have an unveiled face is to see the Lord rightly which requires consecration, clean hands and a pure heart. How much you see of Him clearly is determined by how much you set yourself apart for Him.

Consecration is defined from Webster’s 1828 dictionary: The act or ceremony of separating from a common to a sacred use, or of devoting and dedicating a person or thing to the service and worship of God, by certain rites or solemnities. Consecration does not make a person or thing really holy, but declares it to be sacred, that is, devoted to God or to divine service; as the consecration of the priests among the Israelites; the consecration of the vessels used in the temple; the consecration of a bishop.

Many months ago I had a vision where I was standing in what looked like a hexagon stand up tanning bed. I had protective eye wear on, and it was if the heat was from the sun, as everything else around me was black. I knew immediately the vision represented an accelerated time of fire, refining and testing. And that’s exactly what happened in my life, although I thought I had already been through those fires. When I stepped out of the tanning bed, I had white living flames that danced off my body when ever I moved. I sensed a heavenly and miraculous power attached to them.

Before this vision, I had a different vision where I was seeing blue flames. And just as we yield and are transformed from glory to glory, so do levels intensify and change. White represents some of the hottest parts of the flame, is known as the sacred flame and flame of ascension. In Hebrew white fire is חסד – loving kindness. It represents the goal of the Torah. כי כל ענין התורה הוא לקיים הטוב האלקי “The whole purpose of the Torah is to manifest God’s goodness in the world.” (Resourced from Yoni Mozeson – The Times Of Israel). What a beautiful symbol of beholding our King, we shall become like Him, transformed manifesting His goodness to the world.

When researching the symbolism of the hexagon, I found this particularly resourceful : “When used to build, hexagons minimize the amount of material needed, and which is why honeybees build in hexagons. It is also at the molecular core of water and therefore also in each of us, as we are made of at least 70% water. When hydrogen molecules freeze and bond, they form hexagons (ie – the center of a snowflake). The hexagon is also found in the structure of DNA — it forms the chains that produce the double-helix macromolecule.” The honey bee goes through complete metamorphosis- a symbol of complete transformation. The hexagon cell from where they are formed is a six-sided polygon with the total internal angles of the shape totaling 720°.

Each angle is 120° within the hexagon, and coincides with Strong’s concordance number 120 in Hebrew, אָדָם meaning Adam, man, mankind, humanity. The number six is also the number of man, the sum total of the six angles within the hexagon once again total 720°. Bees construct multiple cylindrical tubes which are then molded based on temperature and contact with other cells. The cells start off cylindrical on day 0 and transform into the common hexagonal shape by day 2. This speaks to me about our spiritual cycle of life, the circular is the Trinity, and the heated temperature forms the hexagon cell, where our DNA is transformed from the first Adam, to the second. The sum total is 720 – seven representing completion, He continually transforms us, completing the work He has begun in us, sanctifying us for the work of His service, and setting us apart for the Lord’s return.

May our speech be sweet like that of the honeycomb, inviting an orphaned world into an eternal life of adoption. May we die daily so others can live, offering the sweet aroma of sacrifice so others may also taste and see that the second Adam man, Jesus the King, He is good. May we become consecrated living flames of Love, manifesting the true pure virtue of our God. May we live in the ascended flame, beholding His form to be transformed in His glorious light and love.

“My old identity has been co-crucified with Christ and no longer lives. And now the essence of this new life is no longer mine, for the Anointed One lives his life through me—we live in union as one! My new life is empowered by the faith of the Son of God who loves me so much that he gave himself for me, dispensing his life into mine!” Galatians‬ ‭2:20‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Fulfilling The Call

Many people wonder why “the call on their life” is not being fulfilled but a fulfilled call begins with Christ making us holy. As the global body we need to rise in maturity, strap up and put our boots on. We must humbly ask the Father the difficult questions about our lives. Scripture writes that God does not change, He is faithful, and that Jesus will fulfill the call over us by making us holy. I believe one of the main reasons we don’t see destiny fulfilled is because the person has not yielded to the work of the Lord; they run from refiners fire, try to escape testing, avoid pruning and the like. Holiness is a requirement to fulfill the call in consecrated devotion, however holiness is not on your terms nor can you make yourself holy. “Now May the God of peace sanctify you”, His peace is found in the yielding and in the surrender. He is the potter, we are the clay. He is calling us higher friends, there is so much more though it requires a surrendered heart, will you trust Him and place your life in His hands?

“Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you through and through [that is, separate you from profane and vulgar things, make you pure and whole and undamaged—consecrated to Him—set apart for His purpose]; and may your spirit and soul and body be kept complete and [be found] blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Faithful and absolutely trustworthy is He who is calling you [to Himself for your salvation], and He will do it [He will fulfill His call by making you holy, guarding you, watching over you, and protecting you as His own].” ‭‭1 Thessalonians‬ ‭5:23-24‬ ‭AMP‬‬
