You can not rush the Holy Spirit. The only rushing that should be in Church are the hungry and repentant hearts coming to the altar, and sound of the rushing Wind of the Spirit.
When we rush, we forgo the Holy Hush
We need not be afraid of pause or silence. We need not rush through worship or the reading of Scripture. We need not rush through the preaching of the sermon. We need not rush the working of the Spirit, lest it become the work of the flesh. We claim to wait but we do not tarry.
Wait, and resist the rush.

“To them also He showed Himself alive after His passion (His suffering in the garden and on the cross) by [a series of] many convincing demonstrations [unquestionable evidences and infallible proofs], appearing to them during forty days and talking [to them] about the things of the kingdom of God. And while being in their company and eating with them, He commanded them not to leave Jerusalem but to wait for what the Father had promised, Of which [He said] you have heard Me speak. [John 14:16, 26; 15:26.] For John baptized with water, but not many days from now you shall be baptized with (placed in, introduced into) the Holy Spirit.” Acts 1:3-5 AMPC
“When the day of Pentecost had come, they were all together in one place, and suddenly a sound came from heaven like a rushing violent wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.” Acts 2:1-2 AMP
