Earlier today I was thinking about the unity I have with someone in the Spirit and the tangible presence of the Lord came on me so intensely in that same moment. It was a sense of complete oneness with another and the Lord though I was sitting alone.
True union is not two-fold but rather three-fold. Our highest example is the Triune Godhead – Three persons though One. Three is also symbolic of the Spirit, and it is in the Spirit that we can really only experience true Oneness with the Lord or another person. Biblically, when two become one flesh in marriage, it is under the covenant of God, meaning it is by the Spirit they become one flesh. “A threefold cord is not quickly broken” Ecclesiastes 4:12. We look most like God when we are in unity, another reason the enemy comes to counter unity so fiercely not only in marriage but on any front is because he desires to look like God. Being that we are the image bearers of God Himself who the enemy now hates, he retaliates and disrupts to distract to distort to deceive.
Disunity begins as a disruption. The Lord gave me a picture to explain; if we are made of mostly water, think about when water is disrupted. Waves, storms, even small stones thrown in a river or pond can create a ripple. Now think of beholding your image in that body of water, now depending on the conditions when you see yourself when the waters are disrupted there can be multiple images, skewed images, distorted images, or worse yet you may not be able to see yourself at all. When the water is at peace, or when it is most still, that is when a clear image will be seen. “Let be and be still, and know (recognize and understand) that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations! I will be exalted in the earth!” Psalm 46:10 AMPC. Do you see? In the stillness of recognizing His image within us we understand that He is God. “Becoming” is the art of creation and we are formed and transformed for Him. “Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.” 2 Corinthians 3:17-18 KJV. We were always meant to see Him!
Side note – the reason we have and need deliverance ministry is because we have unified with other spirits, knowingly and unknowingly.
Oneness through remaining in Him is how we can truly be priests; our first ministry is unto the Lord, and as we abide in Him we are able to step into unity with one another. “and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.” Revelation 1:5-6 NKJV
Obtaining oil is a necessary part of our high calling, and though costly, there is an even greater cost when found without it. As written of in the parable of the Ten Virgins in Matthew 25, it is clear that eternity hinges on our own personal oil.
“How truly wonderful and delightful it is to see brothers and sisters living together in sweet unity! It’s as precious as the sacred scented oil flowing from the head of the high priest Aaron, dripping down upon his beard and running all the way down to the hem of his priestly robes. This harmony can be compared to the dew dripping from Mount Hermon, which flows down upon the hills of Zion. Indeed, that is where Yahweh has decreed his blessings will be found, the promise of life forevermore!”
Psalms 133:1-3 TPT.
Prophetically look at the numbers of this Psalm, Chapter 133 / 1+3+3 = 7 meaning complete. 1 3+3 = 6 meaning one man, two three’s but one. There are three verses that make up the entire chapter, meaning Trinity, the Spirit, unity and equal a total of three 3’s chapter and verse. 3×3 = 9 and the number nine is symbolic of birthing. I believe we even see the design of God in these numbers that read one complete re-birthing of man is in the unity of the Spirit. It is believed Jesus was 33 years old when He was crucified, the one man we need to behold. Our highest place of unity is remaining in Him, here we acquire the oil of intimacy. “My old identity has been co-crucified with Christ and no longer lives. And now the essence of this new life is no longer mine, for the Anointed One lives his life through me—we live in union as one! My new life is empowered by the faith of the Son of God who loves me so much that he gave himself for me, dispensing his life into mine!” Galatians 2:20 TPT
The Hebrew word oil in Psalm 133:2 means anointing, to shine, fruitful, ointment. I love how the Word is interwoven and testifies of itself, displaying the essence of fragrant unity. “Dwell in Me, and I will dwell in you. [Live in Me, and I will live in you.] Just as no branch can bear fruit of itself without abiding in (being vitally united to) the vine, neither can you bear fruit unless you abide in Me.” John 15:4 AMPC
I have had a recurring vision over the last few weeks. In the vision I see myself leaning back into the chest of Jesus though I am facing forward and He is behind me. As I lean back into Him, I “disappear” and am completely in Him. Hidden in Christ. Come Holy Spirit, make us one with the Son! This is the circle of everlasting life, union with You! “For [as far as this world is concerned] you have died, and your [new, real] life is hidden with Christ in God.” Colossians 3:3 AMPC
Arise shining and burning one’s, arise!
“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.”
Isaiah 60:1 ESV
