A Faithful Hand

The glory of the Lord is described as the appearance of a rainbow and flooding light in the book of Ezekiel, and the rainbow is a symbol of ‘promise’ and covenant in the book of Genesis. The promise of Presence – a promise He will not leave / separate Himself from us on this earth or destroy the earth again as in the account of Noah and the flood. The glory is the Lord God’s manifest Presence. Interestingly, Ezekiel describes seeing the halo similar to a rainbow waist downward upon the Lord. Possibly because it describes movement, and from the waist downward is how the body moves. Moses even said, I will not go “move forward” unless You go with me. “And Moses said to Him, “If Your presence does not go [with me], do not lead us up from here.” ‭‭Exodus‬ ‭33‬:‭15‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Perhaps the glory of His Presence leads us to His face. It is often true and possible that His Presence will fill a room, though without seeing the Lord’s form or face. However face to face encounter is reserved and protected by a different halo of fire as seen by Ezekiel as well. Moses first encountered the Lord through fire, which lead to the glory and increase of His Presence which lead to His face.

Song of Solomon and Revelation write of a vehement lovers flame in the eyes of the Lord. To behold His face, as friend some have seen though to behold Him as lover this is a vehement flame reserved for the those faithful and willing to be consumed themselves in Unity’s flame. Perhaps we move from glory to glory until we behold His face! An invitation for all, a journey few will remain committed. The reward is through fires consumption, yielding all of one’s self for all of Him.

“Now upward, from that which appeared to be His waist, I saw something like glowing metal that looked like it was filled with fire all around it; and downward, from that which appeared to be His waist, I saw something like fire; and there was a brightness and a remarkable radiance [like a halo] around Him. As the appearance of the rainbow in the clouds on a rainy day, so was the appearance of the surrounding radiance. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory and brilliance of the Lord. And when I saw it, I fell face downward and I heard a voice of One speaking.” Ezekiel‬ ‭1‬:‭27‬-‭28‬ ‭AMP‬‬

“After that I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse [appeared]! The One Who was riding it is called Faithful (Trustworthy, Loyal, Incorruptible, Steady) and True, and He passes judgment and wages war in righteousness (holiness, justice, and uprightness). [Ezek. 1:1.] His eyes [blaze] like a flame of fire, and on His head are many kingly crowns (diadems); and He has a title (name) inscribed which He alone knows or can understand. [Dan. 10:6.] ‭‭Revelation‬ ‭19‬:‭11‬-‭12‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

“Fasten me upon your heart as a seal of fire forevermore. This living, consuming flame will seal you as my prisoner of love. My passion is stronger than the chains of death and the grave, all consuming as the very flashes of fire from the burning heart of God. Place this fierce, unrelenting fire over your entire being.” Song of Songs‬ ‭8‬:‭6‬ ‭TPT‬‬

“And all of us, as with unveiled face, [because we] continued to behold [in the Word of God] as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are constantly being transfigured into His very own image in ever increasing splendor and from one degree of glory to another; [for this comes] from the Lord [Who is] the Spirit.” 2 Corinthians‬ ‭3‬:‭18‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

Possibly… as the mature sons and daughters rise, and are transfigured without unveiled face through the work of the cross, they move as the Body of the Lord while also abiding in divine union and His glory fills the earth as promised! Perhaps this is one reason creation is groaning for the mature sons and daughters to be revealed with eager expectation… because the promise of creation’s restoration is connected to partnership.

“But [the time is coming when] the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea. [Isa. 11:9.]” ‭‭Habakkuk‬ ‭2‬:‭14‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

The mature sons and daughters through partnership and experiential knowing the Lord will reveal His glory. There will be no denying the knowledge of the Lord’s Presence across the earth, while all of mankind may not choose to experience Him. Mature sons and daughters who walk in reverential fear of the Lord who do not ’touch’ the glory for themselves though live to reveal the glory within. Christ has so transformed them, He cannot not be revealed.

“There is a divine mystery—a secret surprise that has been concealed from the world for generations, but now it’s being revealed, unfolded and manifested for every holy believer to experience. Living within you is the Christ who floods you with the expectation of glory! This mystery of Christ, embedded within us, becomes a heavenly treasure chest of hope filled with the riches of glory for his people, and God wants everyone to know it!” ‭‭Colossians‬ ‭1‬:‭26‬-‭27‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Transform us Lord, that we may reveal Your Kingdom and Your glory! In the word manifest is a root that means “hand”. I’ve often thought of how Habakkuk 3:4 and Isaiah 49:16 may connect.

“Behold, I have indelibly imprinted (tattooed a picture of) you on the palm of each of My hands; [O Zion] your walls are continually before Me.” Isaiah‬ ‭49‬:‭16‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

“And His brightness was like the sunlight; rays streamed from His hand, and there [in the sunlike splendor] was the hiding place of His power.” Habakkuk‬ ‭3‬:‭4‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

The “Married One’s” reveal the Lord’s power and glory : those who choose to live under the wing (arm) of the Almighty and make the secret place their home (Psalm 91). They are the dwellers and covenant keepers who faithfully abide. As the Lord spreads out His Arm and Hand, they move positioned by presence, and reveal power in purity (that only comes from union) and the glory of the risen Lord.

“FOR ZION’S sake will I [Isaiah] not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest until her imputed righteousness and vindication go forth as brightness, and her salvation radiates as does a burning torch. And the nations shall see your righteousness and vindication [your rightness and justice–not your own, but His ascribed to you], and all kings shall behold your salvation and glory; and you shall be called by a new name which the mouth of the Lord shall name. [Rev. 2:17.] You shall also be [so beautiful and prosperous as to be thought of as] a crown of glory and honor in the hand of the Lord, and a royal diadem [exceedingly beautiful] in the hand of your God. You [Judah] shall no more be termed Forsaken, nor shall your land be called Desolate any more. But you shall be called Hephzibah [My delight is in her], and your land be called Beulah [married]; for the Lord delights in you, and your land shall be married [owned and protected by the Lord].” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭62‬:‭1‬-‭4‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

The Married One’s reveal the Bridegrooms heart, that those who have not known Him may know Him too. How beautiful is Love’s redemption, filling the earth!

“What is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of [earthborn] man that You care for him? Yet You have made him but a little lower than God [or heavenly beings], and You have crowned him with glory and honor. You made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet: [I Cor. 15:27; Eph. 1:22, 23; Heb. 2:6-8.]” Psalm‬ ‭8‬:‭4‬-‭6‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

May we put our hand in His, and faithfully partner, for such a time as this!

Real Love

I can’t get over it, may I never desire to get over this love. If we love Jesus, we receive ALL of Him, AND the Father and Holy Spirit. They will ALL come live with you and make for themselves a special dwelling place in you! They are One and desire to be one with us as they are One. Glory be to God, we are not worthy yet He makes us worthy by receiving Him and the work of the cross, He stays forever when we obey His teaching and we abide and remain in Him. Thank you Jesus. Thank you Father. Thank you Holy Spirit! What an honor to receive and experience this Love. May we never lose this precious wonder that the Creator of the Heaven’s and earth chooses to abide with man. We are chosen, we are loved.

“Jesus answered, If a person [really] loves Me, he will keep My word [obey My teaching]; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home (abode, special dwelling place) with him.” ‭‭John‬ ‭14‬:‭23‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

“Dwell in Me, and I will dwell in you. [Live in Me, and I will live in you.] Just as no branch can bear fruit of itself without abiding in (being vitally united to) the vine, neither can you bear fruit unless you abide in Me. I am the Vine; you are the branches. Whoever lives in Me and I in him bears much (abundant) fruit. However, apart from Me [cut off from vital union with Me] you can do nothing. When you bear (produce) much fruit, My Father is honored and glorified, and you show and prove yourselves to be true followers of Mine. I have loved you, [just] as the Father has loved Me; abide in My love [continue in His love with Me]. If you keep My commandments [if you continue to obey My instructions], you will abide in My love and live on in it, just as I have obeyed My Father’s commandments and live on in His love. I have told you these things, that My joy and delight may be in you, and that your joy and gladness may be of full measure and complete and overflowing. This is My commandment: that you love one another [just] as I have loved you. No one has greater love [no one has shown stronger affection] than to lay down (give up) his own life for his friends. You are My friends if you keep on doing the things which I command you to do.” John‬ ‭15‬:‭4‬-‭5‬, ‭8‬-‭14‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

“SEE WHAT [an incredible] quality of love the Father has given (shown, bestowed on) us, that we should [be permitted to] be named and called and counted the children of God! And so we are! The reason that the world does not know (recognize, acknowledge) us is that it does not know (recognize, acknowledge) Him.” 1 John‬ ‭3‬:‭1‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

Jesus Our Treasure

This is time where it is imperative we have the Word of God deeply rooted in our hearts. The Word of God is alive in you. It is like currency, wisdom, power, provision, peace, healing, manna all within ~ it is Jesus in you the very Word that became flesh and dwelt among men. At times this supernatural reality can be beyond comprehension, open the eyes of your heart like a child and receive. Feast on His presence and consume His Word and then your heart will become full; He is the fulfillment to our desires and this we will never outgrow. Thank you Jesus You are our treasure and great reward, may we remain faithful to You!

“But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in and steal; for where your treasure is, there your heart [your wishes, your desires; that on which your life centers] will be also.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6:20-21‬ ‭AMP‬‬

“Your word I have treasured and stored in my heart, That I may not sin against You.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭119:11‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Lacking No Good Thing

Those who SEEK the Lord lack no good thing. The key to the abundant life is fearing and honoring the Lord in a whole hearted pursuit to know Him. Hebrew for seek in this passage is Strong’s 1875 – To tread, frequent, to follow, to seek, ask, to worship. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom… have you thought about what else wisdom holds if the fear of the Lord is just the beginning? There’s so much more within wisdom to be unlocked and revealed to those who seek the Lord, and the mystery is that in the pursuit is full provision.

“The Angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him [who revere and worship Him with awe] and each of them He delivers. [Ps. 18:1; 145:20.] O taste and see that the Lord [our God] is good! Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the man who trusts and takes refuge in Him. [I Pet. 2:2, 3.] O fear the Lord, you His saints [revere and worship Him]! For there is no want to those who truly revere and worship Him with godly fear. The young lions lack food and suffer hunger, but they who seek (inquire of and require) the Lord [by right of their need and on the authority of His Word], none of them shall lack any beneficial thing. Come, you children, listen to me; I will teach you to revere and worshipfully fear the Lord.” Psalm‬ ‭34:7-11‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

Taste & See

Spiritual fulfillment is for those who are hungry. The more you want to see, the more you have to taste. One of the Hebrew meanings of the word ‘see’ in this passage is ‘to experience’. It is possible for you to experience God AND be fulfilled, the flavors discovered in His presence are past finding out. I believe many are hungry because they “know” there is more but have not experienced it yet. Go deep in His Word and presence and I am positive you will discover something within you have not tasted of beforehand. You can have as much of Him as you desire – the hungrier you arrive at the banqueting feast, the more of Him you will find.

“Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭34:8‬ ‭NKJV‬

‬ “How sweet are Your words to my taste, Sweeter than honey to my mouth!”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭119:103‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

““Blessed [joyful, nourished by God’s goodness] are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness [those who actively seek right standing with God], for they will be [completely] satisfied.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5:6‬ ‭AMP‬‬

“And He said to me, Son of man, eat this scroll that I give you and fill your stomach with it. Then I ate it, and it was as sweet as honey in my mouth.”
‭‭Ezekiel‬ ‭3:3‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

Who Do You Know?

Who do you know?

The mind of the world focuses on who they know, while the mind of the Spirit focuses on knowing Him.

We were created to receive validation from knowing God, Adam’s eyes opened to see a loving Father admiring His created son. After the fall, most perpetually seek to be known to fulfill this need, but unfortunately the gaze is fixed in the wrong direction or the wrong Person. The system of this world is still striving to be known but by false gods; each other, people with influence, power, etc. These are false gods when the desire is greater to be known by one another than by the One who created you.

When you focus on who you know on this earth it gives a false validation and sense of identity and belonging that creates pride. It is humility to look to God, to be dependent upon Him, to know His ways, to believe Him, obey Him, and love Him.

“Does the Scripture mean nothing to you that says, “The Spirit that God breathed into our hearts is a jealous Lover who intensely desires to have more and more of us”? But he continues to pour out more and more grace upon us. For it says, “God resists you when you are proud but continually pours out grace when you are humble.”” James 4:5-6‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Humility is the doorway to knowing and seeing God.

This attached photo is ”picture art” I made circa 2010 inspired from the humble door I photographed in Africa. So today I am adding an old edited photo with a newly written excerpt that has roots in an ageless message. A message chasing me in my lifetime since I can remember – and perhaps it’s chasing you too … Do you know Him?

Voices of Approval

We must consider the weight and value we place on one another’s voices, is it higher than the ideas, truths, and Voice of the Lord? There is One Voice that ultimately marks us with approval.

“I have come in My Father’s name and with His power, and you do not receive Me [because your minds are closed]; but if another comes in his own name and with no authority or power except his own, you will receive him and give your approval to an imposter. How can you believe [in Me], when you [seek and] receive glory and approval from one another, and yet you do not seek the glory and approval which comes from the one and only God?” John‬ ‭5:43-44‬ ‭AMP‬‬

In all things we should imitate Christ, and most importantly where He received identity and where He did not. “I do not receive glory and approval from men” John 5:41.

These are perilous times and we are at a critical juncture in history when we can not afford to be led astray by even the slightest bit of human idea or opinion that would potentially deter us from the narrow path. We must eagerly await for the Bridegrooms Voice. “He who has the bride is the bridegroom; but the friend of the bridegroom, who stands by and listens to him, rejoices greatly because of the bridegroom’s voice.” John 3:29 Here in this friendship is your approval. May joy and peace be yours as you patiently stand by, and eagerly expect His Voice!

Let Me Burn

If I could explain the benefits of a “yes” to God, I’d die a hundred more times so you would know He is good. Somewhere in the flames of sacrifice you transition from yielding your flesh unto burning to beholding His glorious frame.

The heat of His presence tangible, now nearer still He speaks from the eternal flame. I’d die all over again and as many times required because it is here that life really begins. There is no other that can captivate my being, His longing for me draws me closer and in my longing for Him He returns.

My soul and my spirit pray, let me always stay here fastened to Your heart.

Do you know Him? Do you love Him?

Have you told Jesus you love Him today? The One whom the government rests on His shoulders, the eternal King of all kings who reigns forevermore; fullness of promise, the sacrificial Lamb slain and risen, beautiful Savior, Holy incarnate God who dwelt among us and befriender of sinners – Do you know Him? Do you love Him?

What about the Father, have you told Him you love Him today? Omniscient, Omnipresent, Omnipotent; the Creator of mysteries low and expanses high – so terrifyingly wonderful yet He carries you in His womb and tattooed your name on His hand. He is more loving and welcoming than you can imagine. Do you know Him? Do you love Him?

And my precious friend Holy Spirit. Have you told Him you love Him today? Wrapped in light and glory; comfortor, counselor, teacher, joyful presence, connector, revealer and sealant … there are not enough adjectives to relay what a tremendous gift Jesus sent us. Do you know Him? Do you love Him?
