Receiving The Good Gift

I really sense in my spirit that today is a day of completion, even on this date February 7th being symbolic with the number seven representing completion and perfection. If this is for you, receive it! You have battled and fought in belief, and now it’s time to receive. Part of preparation is unto reception ~ and receiving is actually more important than most people realize.

Two things have been resounding in my spirit today, “the Father delights to give good gifts to His children” and “the Father is developing and completing that good work He began in you”.

Something is clicking for some of you, it’s a belief and understanding that the Lord is good. He wants you to fulfill your assignment, destiny and purpose. He wants you to make it to your appointment on time. And for those of you who have done the work; the yielding, surrender, healing and testing – it’s time for the move, from the pit to the palace. Welcome to your new home! Sudden changes will be happening soon.

To God be the glory!

“If you, imperfect as you are, know how to lovingly take care of your children and give them what’s best, how much more ready is your heavenly Father to give wonderful gifts to those who ask him?””
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭7‬:‭11‬ ‭TPT‬‬

“And I am convinced and sure of this very thing, that He Who began a good work in you will continue until the day of Jesus Christ [right up to the time of His return], developing [that good work] and perfecting and bringing it to full completion in you.”
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭1‬:‭6‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

“Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above; it comes down from the Father of lights [the Creator and Sustainer of the heavens], in whom there is no variation [no rising or setting] or shadow cast by His turning [for He is perfect and never changes].”
‭‭James‬ ‭1‬:‭17‬ ‭AMP‬‬

“They will come home and sing songs of joy on the heights of Jerusalem. They will be radiant because of the Lord’s good gifts— the abundant crops of grain, new wine, and olive oil, and the healthy flocks and herds. Their life will be like a watered garden, and all their sorrows will be gone.”
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭31‬:‭12‬ ‭NLT‬‬

God Of All The Families

““In that day,” says the Lord, “I will be the God of all the families of Israel, and they will be my people. This is what the Lord says: “Those who survive the coming destruction will find blessings even in the barren land, for I will give rest to the people of Israel.” Long ago the Lord said to Israel: “I have loved you, my people, with an everlasting love. With unfailing love I have drawn you to myself. I will rebuild you, my virgin Israel. You will again be happy and dance merrily with your tambourines. Again you will plant your vineyards on the mountains of Samaria and eat from your own gardens there. The day will come when watchmen will shout from the hill country of Ephraim, ‘Come, let us go up to Jerusalem to worship the Lord our God.’” Now this is what the Lord says: “Sing with joy for Israel. Shout for the greatest of nations! Shout out with praise and joy: ‘Save your people, O Lord, the remnant of Israel!’ For I will bring them from the north and from the distant corners of the earth. I will not forget the blind and lame, the expectant mothers and women in labor. A great company will return! Tears of joy will stream down their faces, and I will lead them home with great care. They will walk beside quiet streams and on smooth paths where they will not stumble. For I am Israel’s father, and Ephraim is my oldest child. “Listen to this message from the Lord, you nations of the world; proclaim it in distant coastlands: The Lord, who scattered his people, will gather them and watch over them as a shepherd does his flock. For the Lord has redeemed Israel from those too strong for them. They will come home and sing songs of joy on the heights of Jerusalem. They will be radiant because of the Lord’s good gifts— the abundant crops of grain, new wine, and olive oil, and the healthy flocks and herds. Their life will be like a watered garden, and all their sorrows will be gone. The young women will dance for joy, and the men—old and young—will join in the celebration. I will turn their mourning into joy. I will comfort them and exchange their sorrow for rejoicing. The priests will enjoy abundance, and my people will feast on my good gifts. I, the Lord, have spoken!””

CHECED ~ Loving-Kindness

How do we look like Jesus?
How do we become like Him?
We allow love to have its perfect work in us that we may reflect Him rightly and purely.
To be like Him is to be godly, and to be godly is to be the person of loving-kindness. He heeds and responds to the voice of the godly. Their voices are heard echoing upon the waters of holiness with the light of His loving face shining on them.

“But know that the Lord has set apart for Himself [and given distinction to] him who is godly [the man of loving-kindness]. The Lord listens and heeds when I call to Him.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭4‬:‭3‬ ‭AMPC

We are all loved by God, though to be set apart for Him; to have His favored ear and attention we must be people of loving-kindness.

“Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, My lips shall praise You.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭63‬:‭3‬ ‭AMP‬‬

People who know this loving-kindness and display it, and who are becoming it themselves are ones who know God intimately. The Hebrew word for loving-kindness in the above passage is חֵסֵד, checed: favour. The phonetic spelling is (kheh’-sed) which sounds like “kissed”. The definition is : goodness, kindness. The godly are devoted lovers and worshipers of the One true God; their understanding and belief in and the reception of His loving-kindness that are His kisses, provoke a holy response of praise from their lips, their way of offering kisses back to Him.

‬‬“But know that the Lord has set apart for Himself [and dealt wonderfully with] the godly man [the one of honorable character and moral courage—the one who does right]. The Lord hears and responds when I call to Him.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭4‬:‭3‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Heavenly Father, may we be a people who reflect You purely and rightly who are godly, displaying Your loving-kindness!

The Way Home

He is Love. He is Breath. He is Life. He is Eden. He is Home.

The greatest loss to mankind is absence from the presence of God. To be separated from Him, is to have no breath in your lungs.

He is the WAY, the TRUTH and the LIFE

YESHUA

“Jesus said to him, “I am the [only] Way [to God] and the [real] Truth and the [real] Life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.” John‬ ‭14‬:‭6‬ ‭AMP‬‬

There Is Only One Rock

Only One

““For the Lord, the King of Israel and his Redeemer, the Lord of hosts says this, ‘I am the First and I am the Last; And there is no God besides Me. Who is like Me? Let him proclaim it and declare it; Yes, let him confront Me, Since I established the people of antiquity. And let them [those supposed gods] tell those people [who foolishly follow them] the things to come And the events that are going to take place. Do not tremble nor be afraid [of the violent upheavals to come]; Have I not long ago proclaimed it to you and declared it? And you are My witnesses. Is there a God besides Me? There is no other Rock; I know of none.’ ””
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭44‬:‭6‬-‭8‬ ‭AMP‬‬

““So everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them, will be like a wise man [a far-sighted, practical, and sensible man] who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods and torrents came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. And everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not do them, will be like a foolish (stupid) man who built his house on the sand. And the rain fell, and the floods and torrents came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and it fell—and great and complete was its fall.””
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭7‬:‭24‬-‭27‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Precious In His Hands

“Trust in and rely confidently on the Lord with all your heart And do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know and acknowledge and recognize Him, And He will make your paths straight and smooth [removing obstacles that block your way].”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭3‬:‭5‬-‭6‬ ‭AMP‬‬

If we KNOW, ACKNOWLEDGE, and RECOGNIZE the Lord in all of our ways – we follow THE WAY.

When you trust the Lord with your heart – the core of who you are, it will be inevitable that you will find yourself on the right path.

It all begins with TRUST.

Even Jesus had to trust the Father, as He prayed “not my will, but Your will be done”. His relationship with the Father was founded in Love, and therefore He knew the outcome of His willful surrender was in trustworthy Hands.

I heard the Lord say this morning, “Trust that your heart is held precious in My Hands.”

We are not even semi-precious stones, we are precious – valuable, of great worth, price, costly. We are beloved and dear to our Lord. We are costly, and of great value to Him, for we have been bought at the highest price of His very life. Just as the physical heart gives life for the human existence, so the spiritual heart beats just the same. Without a healthy heart we have low quality of life, and most often a shortened life; which applies to the physical and spiritual. But when we give our heart to the Lord, He understands how it was created and cares for it more than we could ever know. He promises long life and salvation when we trust Him.

This may seem like one of the most elementary truths to follow, however none of us are above the need to check in – how much are we dependent and RELIANT upon He who is faithful? By not remaining childlike in this area, this is how we actually veer off the paths of righteousness.

Friend, you are precious, your heart is precious in His hands. Trust Him completely as He is the one who has given you those desires in your heart. Let Him fulfill you by clearing the paths before you, leaning upon the Beloved is when the crooked ways become straight. Let the Lord do the work.

“Blessed [with spiritual security] is the man who believes and trusts in and relies on the Lord And whose hope and confident expectation is the Lord. For he will be [nourished] like a tree planted by the waters, That spreads out its roots by the river; And will not fear the heat when it comes; But its leaves will be green and moist. And it will not be anxious and concerned in a year of drought Nor stop bearing fruit.” Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭7‬-‭8‬ ‭AMP‬‬

“It is better to trust in the Lord Than to put confidence in man.” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭118‬:‭8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“Keep trusting in the Lord and do what is right in his eyes. Fix your heart on the promises of God, and you will dwell in the land, feasting on his faithfulness. Find your delight and true pleasure in Yahweh, and he will give you what you desire the most. Give God the right to direct your life, and as you trust him along the way, you’ll find he pulled it off perfectly!”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭37‬:‭3‬-‭5‬ ‭TPT‬‬

The Face in the Storm

The Lord is looking for those who are willing to follow Him wherever He leads ~ into the ‘thunder, lightning, and smoking mountain’. Will you be courageous to go where He is? You say you love Him, but do you trust Him, do you truly reverence Him? Will you approach Him? Safety according to our standards will often limit the depth of our encounter. Could it be that on the other side of your perceived storm, is the face of the Lord?

“Now all the people witnessed the thunder and the flashes of lightning and the sound of the trumpet and the smoking mountain; and as they looked, the people were afraid, and they trembled [and moved backward] and stood at a [safe] distance. Then they said to Moses, “You speak to us and we will listen, but do not let God speak to us or we will die.” Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid; for God has come in order to test you, and in order that the fear of Him [that is, a profound reverence for Him] will remain with you, so that you do not sin.” So the people stood at a [safe] distance, but Moses approached the thick cloud where God was.” Exodus‬ ‭20‬:‭18‬-‭21‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Isaiah 40

“Why, O Jacob, do you say, and declare, O Israel, “My way is hidden from the Lord, And the justice due me escapes the notice of my God”? Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth Does not become tired or grow weary; There is no searching of His understanding. He gives strength to the weary, And to him who has no might He increases power. Even youths grow weary and tired, And vigorous young men stumble badly, But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] Will gain new strength and renew their power; They will lift up their wings [and rise up close to God] like eagles [rising toward the sun]; They will run and not become weary, They will walk and not grow tired.” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭40:27-31‬ ‭AMP‬‬
