May we remember who we are praying to ~ the Creator of the Heavens and the earth. The giver of all life, the breath in our lungs, the blood in our veins. He is too wonderful, incomprehensible, multi-dimensional, His ways past finding out. Our intelligence just a speck of dust. May we remember and may our faith increase, for truly How Great Is Our God!
”Who has measured the waters in the hollow of His hand, Measured heaven with a span And calculated the dust of the earth in a measure? Weighed the mountains in scales And the hills in a balance? Who has directed the Spirit of the Lord, Or as His counselor has taught Him? With whom did He take counsel, and who instructed Him, And taught Him in the path of justice? Who taught Him knowledge, And showed Him the way of understanding?“ Isaiah 40:12-14 NKJV
”“Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh; is there anything too difficult for Me?”“ Jeremiah 32:27 AMP
”Is anything too difficult or too wonderful for the Lord? At the appointed time, when the season [for her delivery] comes, I will return to you and Sarah will have a son.”“ Genesis 18:14 AMP
Let us remember He makes the impossible possible. At the appointed time… at His Word, at His return, His essence, His nearness … Yeshua, our Beloved, our Savior, our Lord in His proximity life abounds, He make all things new.
Forgive us Lord, for in our human weakness we have allowed You to remain small, so less than You deserve. We fail to uphold You where You belong. Open the eyes of our hearts, that we may rightly see and know You.
Out of any 2024 Prophetic Word’s I could give you, though there be many things on my heart, if anything be of value, listen to this: your greatest prophetic word this year is Know The Word!

Knowing comes through intimacy
In a recent vision I saw the Statue of Liberty move from her arm risen with torch in hand to holding a dim lantern in front of her.

Our Light is His Life
”IN THE beginning [before all time] was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself. [Isa. 9:6.] He was present originally with God. All things were made and came into existence through Him; and without Him was not even one thing made that has come into being. In Him was Life, and the Life was the Light of men. And the Light shines on in the darkness, for the darkness has never overpowered it [put it out or absorbed it or appropriated it, and is unreceptive to it].“ John 1:1-5 AMPC
Regardless of how dark the world becomes, our Light (whom is Christ in us the hope of glory) will not be overpowered. You must have Him, you must know Him, you must remain in Him, you must abide. This knowledge is intimate, this means you come inside of Christ and remain in Him for He is The Way, The Truth, and The Life. Knowing Christ means to come into His being, much like how the Bible describes knowledge between a man and woman. In covenant, Oneness between a husband and wife equates knowledge in Biblical standards, even in the example of entering into one another’s being’s – the act of becoming one. ”Then Joseph, being aroused from sleep, did as the angel of the Lord commanded him and took to him his wife, and did not know her till she had brought forth her firstborn Son. And he called His name Jesus.“ Matthew 1:24-25 NKJV. This passage confirms Jesus was born of a virgin.
Do not let the enemy twist this for you, this may be unfamiliar language, though it is not sexual in nature. However, the Lord uses this symbolism to teach us the unity we are to have found in Him. Another example is found in Jeremiah. ”“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.”“ Jeremiah 1:5 NKJV
All things exist through Christ. All things. This means we came from His being. It is the act of our will on this earth if we will lay our life down and find it in Him as He did for us. ”[For my determined purpose is] that I may know Him [that I may progressively become more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him, perceiving and recognizing and understanding the wonders of His Person more strongly and more clearly], and that I may in that same way come to know the power outflowing from His resurrection [which it exerts over believers], and that I may so share His sufferings as to be continually transformed [in spirit into His likeness even] to His death, [in the hope] That if possible I may attain to the [spiritual and moral] resurrection [that lifts me] out from among the dead [even while in the body].“ Philippians 3:10-11 AMPC
Imagine stepping into the person of Christ and staying there.
”For in Him we live and move and have our being; as even some of your [own] poets have said, For we are also His offspring.“ Acts 17:28 AMPC
”The saying is sure and worthy of confidence: If we have died with Him, we shall also live with Him.“ 2 Timothy 2:11 AMPC
”And this is the message [the message of promise] which we have heard from Him and now are reporting to you: God is Light, and there is no darkness in Him at all [no, not in any way]. [So] if we say we are partakers together and enjoy fellowship with Him when we live and move and are walking about in darkness, we are [both] speaking falsely and do not live and practice the Truth [which the Gospel presents].“ 1 John 1:5-6 AMPC
While formation in the womb is a hidden and dark space, this is life forming to yet be revealed and represents mystery. However once out of the womb the mystery is made known as the baby comes “into the light”. The baby’s identity in gender is made known in the light, and also he or she finds life in taking their first breath. Now out of the womb the baby will continue to grow without restraint. In the same way, we come into more knowledge of the Triune Godhead the more we come into His Light. Our being grows and is transformed in His Light, remaining in Him. As a baby is born into the world, so we are born into God. A baby comes into being through intimacy, and likewise we continue to sustain our life in Christ through intimacy; remaining in His person where in His Light mysteries are revealed and we grow more and more into the knowledge of Him ~ into His Ways, His Truth, His Light.
Contrastingly, darkness sees Light, as when the Light appears darkness can not overpower, overwhelm or overshadow the Light. The Light has been revealed. However many will claim to have seen the Light but they only know the Light from seeing. Whereas those who truly know the Light exist inside of Him and walk in the Light. Another example is as if living inside the Light was as if one existed inside the Light bulb. Those who claim to know or see the Light and even copy works that they have seen in the Light (miracles, signs, wonders) do not have to live inside of it to experience it’s benefits. In the same way the Sun is burning every day whether you can see it or not, and all of humanity knows this. We orbit around it, and all life exists from Light (photosynthesis). If we lived inside of the Sun we would be consumed. Our God is a consuming fire and desires to KNOW US AND BE KNOWN BY US.
Do we live inside of the Son, or do we live outside of Him? Are we inside of His being, or do we exist outside of Him?
”Even so, every healthy (sound) tree bears good fruit [worthy of admiration], but the sickly (decaying, worthless) tree bears bad (worthless) fruit. A good (healthy) tree cannot bear bad (worthless) fruit, nor can a bad (diseased) tree bear excellent fruit [worthy of admiration]. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and cast into the fire. Therefore, you will fully know them by their fruits. Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father Who is in heaven. Many will say to Me on that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name and driven out demons in Your name and done many mighty works in Your name? And then I will say to them openly (publicly), I never knew you; depart from Me, you who act wickedly [disregarding My commands]. [Ps. 6:8.] So everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts upon them [obeying them] will be like a sensible (prudent, practical, wise) man who built his house upon the rock.“ Matthew 7:17-24 AMPC
Symbolically we can propose that both trees lived under the Light of the Sun. However those sickly trees and those with bad fruit did not remain fully in the Sun, they did not consume its nutrients nor were they transformed by the Sun’s presence. Likewise those who do not find their Life in the Son and their existence from His being will be cast away, for they did not KNOW the Lord by finding their life and fruit inside of Him. In utter darkness and separation from Light they will now exist, an eternity void of life will become their knowledge.
The tree of knowledge of good and evil is every man’s lot, eating of its fruit is every man’s choice. Yet there is another tree, the broken tree at Calvary where upon the eternal seed of Christ was split wide open and His blood redeemed all life. Will we produce like Abel or Cain, what will we offer Him? How shall we respond? The cross is Eden’s redemption and once more I will write, do you find your Life in Him? Which tree will you choose?
”But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was crushed for our wickedness [our sin, our injustice, our wrongdoing]; The punishment [required] for our well-being fell on Him, And by His stripes (wounds) we are healed.“ Isaiah 53:5 AMP
Christ our first fruit offering was crushed, and so we must also be crushed and obtain oil as we press into living in Him; in His being where is the eternal life, a life formed through intimacy.
”And this is eternal life: [it means] to know (to perceive, recognize, become acquainted with, and understand) You, the only true and real God, and [likewise] to know Him, Jesus [as the] Christ (the Anointed One, the Messiah), Whom You have sent.“ John 17:3 AMPC
Lamps Need Oil
Do you know Him?
”THEN THE kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were foolish (thoughtless, without forethought) and five were wise (sensible, intelligent, and prudent). For when the foolish took their lamps, they did not take any [extra] oil with them; But the wise took flasks of oil along with them [also] with their lamps. While the bridegroom lingered and was slow in coming, they all began nodding their heads, and they fell asleep. But at midnight there was a shout, Behold, the bridegroom! Go out to meet him! Then all those virgins got up and put their own lamps in order. And the foolish said to the wise, Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out. But the wise replied, There will not be enough for us and for you; go instead to the dealers and buy for yourselves. But while they were going away to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were prepared went in with him to the marriage feast; and the door was shut. Later the other virgins also came and said, Lord, Lord, open [the door] to us! But He replied, I solemnly declare to you, I do not know you [I am not acquainted with you]. Watch therefore [give strict attention and be cautious and active], for you know neither the day nor the hour when the Son of Man will come.” Matthew 25:1-13 AMPC
He is the Light, we are His vessels, His lamps … we cannot burn, and we cannot see without the oil formed through knowing Him.
Buy oil: Give the Lord your best fruit, the best of you (a first fruit offering) and in the offering of your life to Him, you will find all provision, all love, all joy, all contentment, all LIFE. It is not loss my friends, it is truly only gain. ”For me to live is Christ [His life in me], and to die is gain [the gain of the glory of eternity].“ Philippians 1:21 AMPC
There will be much ‘knowledge’ for even the tree of knowledge of good and evil was not void of knowledge itself, however this is our sober warning that in the last days most people will be “always learning and never able to arrive at a knowledge of the truth.” (2 Timothy 3:7).
To know Truth is to know Christ A life yielded to Him will sustain you until the end.
As written in the Amplified, adjectives to describe the pure in heart include integrity, moral courage and godly character.
In a culture where “if I feel led, it feels right, or I feel like it” I pray we would be people (at minimum in the Church) of our word because we follow the Word. Integrity is rare, and it means a lot to the Lord. Ponder this: the Heavens and Earth will pass away, but the Word will remain.
”Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.” Matthew 24:35 NKJV
”I will worship toward Your holy temple and praise Your name for Your loving-kindness and for Your truth and faithfulness; for You have exalted above all else Your name and Your word and You have magnified Your word above all Your name!“ Psalm 138:2 AMPC
We see God when we keep His Word, and when we honor our words in and through others. Why did Moses see God? Because He both feared and loved Him – He was given the first written “Words of God” by faithfully scribing the Torah. Moses obeyed, the Lord kept His Word to Him through encounter showing him His glory, and by giving Moses the written Word.
If we are not seeing God in our lives, even in a particular area, we could pray and ask if there is any way in us that is not honoring His Word. It’s not always that we’ve done something wrong, however the entry way to ascension is clean hands and a pure heart and for this reason alone, to have that fellowship with Him we should be daily checking our hearts. Are our hearts pure? Do we have integrity, moral courage and godly character? You may desire God and ‘something’ from Him, but do you obey Him? He desires something from us too…
”Who shall go up into the mountain of the Lord? Or who shall stand in His Holy Place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted himself up to falsehood or to what is false, nor sworn deceitfully. [Matt. 5:8.]“ Psalm 24:3-4 AMPC
and consequently lifelessness begins with lovelessness
may we make it our ambition to be children of the Light possessed by Love
a visitation from the Father is coming (who is Love) and we must prepare our hearts to receive Him; He is the answer for the loveless generation and culture and He is coming to restore hearts to Himself (the Father) so that in turn hearts of the fathers will be restored to the children and likewise hearts of the children to the fathers on the earth … natural restoration is a promise, though the greater restoration is first being connected to His heart
Many desire a new beginning but I encourage you to begin in Love; you don’t want to miss this opportunity to respond because the Father is at the door and He is coming Home
This morning He confirmed this message through a dream that had the same time stamp of another dream He gave previously holding the details of this message of visitation; I also saw the dream play out at Christmas, just as the Lord showed me in the first dream. I cannot emphasize enough that you must open the door for Him in faith, prepare Him room in your hearts and homes. Now is the time! This will be the beginning of revival many have been crying out for. The birthing season is here …
”Until then, there are three things that remain: faith, hope, and love—yet love surpasses them all. So above all else, let love be the beautiful prize for which you run.“ 1 Corinthians 13:13 TPT
We are in loveless times. I’ve never felt the absence of love and honor like I do now, inside and outside of the Church. Personally I’ve never experienced this deficit as I have now in both speech and action from others.
Beware of the “Cold War” – before anything occurs in the natural it preexists in one’s heart and mind. The war initiates in the mind, germinates in the heart and eventually progresses to the action of withholding.
World wars are ensuing, and yet the real damage begins within each frail human soul…
Religion withholds, and bases it’s giving on works and performance. “You better pass all your tests”. This is the ever sliding mountain, that just as one is heading to the peak, never is able to get “over the pass”. It’s evil what we do and how we abuse one another… even in the Church. You think you’re testing the Bride, but she is testing you too… can you love her at what you perceive to be her worst?
If Church leaders do not start loving the Bride (Christ’s Body) she will find another lover, and or become weak and dormant, and eventually handicapped and useless. There is a whole lot of “bridal language” circulating and a lot less action. Christ gave up Himself for her… and anyone who assumes themselves to be a leader must do the same. Conditional love is not covenant love.
We love because He first loved us. This is the example. Not based on performance, based on commandment.
”Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her, So that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the Word, That He might present the church to Himself in glorious splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such things [that she might be holy and faultless]. Even so husbands should love their wives as [being in a sense] their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself. For no man ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and carefully protects and cherishes it, as Christ does the church, Because we are members (parts) of His body. For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother and shall be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh. [Gen. 2:24.] This mystery is very great, but I speak concerning [the relation of] Christ and the church. However, let each man of you [without exception] love his wife as [being in a sense] his very own self; and let the wife see that she respects and reverences her husband [that she notices him, regards him, honors him, prefers him, venerates, and esteems him; and that she defers to him, praises him, and loves and admires him exceedingly]. [I Pet. 3:2.]“ Ephesians 5:25-33 AMPC
”And whatever you do [no matter what it is] in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus and in [dependence upon] His Person, giving praise to God the Father through Him. Wives, be subject to your husbands [subordinate and adapt yourselves to them], as is right and fitting and your proper duty in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives [be affectionate and sympathetic with them] and do not be harsh or bitter or resentful toward them.“ Colossians 3:17-19 AMPC
The foot of the Cross, through the Blood of Jesus is the only way to ascend the hill in any terrain. And when we walk in step with Him, Christ’s ascension is our glory; in His life and His great Love is where we must remain. His fire is both passionate and refining; we need our Bridegroom King’s burning eyes to see, and His burning heart to breathe. If we remain in Him and are One with Him, He is the wall of fire around us where the glory is contained within – ”For I, says the Lord, will be to her a wall of fire round about, and I will be the glory in the midst of her.“ Zechariah 2:5 AMPC
”This is a faithful and trustworthy saying: If we died with Him, we will also live with Him; If we endure, we will also reign with Him; If we deny Him, He will also deny us; If we are faithless, He remains faithful [true to His word and His righteous character], for He cannot deny Himself.“ 2 Timothy 2:11-13 AMP
”For in Him we live and move and exist [that is, in Him we actually have our being], as even some of your own poets have said, ‘For we also are His children.’“ Acts 17:28 AMP
”And then many will be offended and repelled and will begin to distrust and desert [Him Whom they ought to trust and obey] and will stumble and fall away and betray one another and pursue one another with hatred. And many false prophets will rise up and deceive and lead many into error. And the love of the great body of people will grow cold because of the multiplied lawlessness and iniquity, But he who endures to the end will be saved.“ Matthew 24:10-13 AMPC
”Beloved, let us love one another, for love is (springs) from God; and he who loves [his fellowmen] is begotten (born) of God and is coming [progressively] to know and understand God [to perceive and recognize and get a better and clearer knowledge of Him]. He who does not love has not become acquainted with God [does not and never did know Him], for God is love. In this the love of God was made manifest (displayed) where we are concerned: in that God sent His Son, the only begotten or unique [Son], into the world so that we might live through Him. In this is love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation (the atoning sacrifice) for our sins. Beloved, if God loved us so [very much], we also ought to love one another. No man has at any time [yet] seen God. But if we love one another, God abides (lives and remains) in us and His love (that love which is essentially His) is brought to completion (to its full maturity, runs its full course, is perfected) in us! By this we come to know (perceive, recognize, and understand) that we abide (live and remain) in Him and He in us: because He has given (imparted) to us of His [Holy] Spirit.“ 1 John 4:7-13 AMPC
Yesterday I kept thinking, “the spirit realm is on steroids right now!” I was praying into it and asking the Lord to reveal and unmask what it is at the root after I seemingly out of no where was faced with an onslaught of discouragement and personal attacks against the heart. Everything in me wanted to give up … Today I’m reminded of the season we are in, a time we remember the birth of our Savior. The spirit realm was raging then too…
“NOW WHEN Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men [astrologers] from the east came to Jerusalem, asking, Where is He Who has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the east at its rising and have come to worship Him. [Num. 24:17; Jer. 23:5; Zech. 9:9.] When Herod the king heard this, he was disturbed and troubled, and the whole of Jerusalem with him. So he called together all the chief priests and learned men (scribes) of the people and anxiously asked them where the Christ was to be born. They replied to him, In Bethlehem of Judea, for so it is written by the prophet: And you Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, you are not in any way least or insignificant among the chief cities of Judah; for from you shall come a Ruler (Leader) Who will govern and shepherd My people Israel. [Mic. 5:2.] Then Herod sent for the wise men [astrologers] secretly, and accurately to the last point ascertained from them the time of the appearing of the star [that is, how long the star had made itself visible since its rising in the east]. Then he sent them to Bethlehem, saying, Go and search for the Child carefully and diligently, and when you have found Him, bring me word, that I too may come and worship Him. When they had listened to the king, they went their way, and behold, the star which had been seen in the east in its rising went before them until it came and stood over the place where the young Child was. When they saw the star, they were thrilled with ecstatic joy. And on going into the house, they saw the Child with Mary His mother, and they fell down and worshiped Him. Then opening their treasure bags, they presented to Him gifts–gold and frankincense and myrrh. And receiving an answer to their asking, they were divinely instructed and warned in a dream not to go back to Herod; so they departed to their own country by a different way. Now after they had gone, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream and said, Get up! [Tenderly] take unto you the young Child and His mother and flee to Egypt; and remain there till I tell you [otherwise], for Herod intends to search for the Child in order to destroy Him. And having risen, he took the Child and His mother by night and withdrew to Egypt And remained there until Herod’s death. This was to fulfill what the Lord had spoken by the prophet, Out of Egypt have I called My Son. [Hos. 11:1.] Then Herod, when he realized that he had been misled by the wise men, was furiously enraged, and he sent and put to death all the male children in Bethlehem and in all that territory who were two years old and under, reckoning according to the date which he had investigated diligently and had learned exactly from the wise men. Then was fulfilled what was spoken by the prophet Jeremiah: A voice was heard in Ramah, wailing and loud lamentation, Rachel weeping for her children; she refused to be comforted, because they were no more. [Jer. 31:15.] But when Herod died, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt And said, Rise, [tenderly] take unto you the Child and His mother and go to the land of Israel, for those who sought the Child’s life are dead. Then he awoke and arose and [tenderly] took the Child and His mother and came into the land of Israel. But because he heard that Archelaus was ruling over Judea in the place of his father Herod, he was afraid to go there. And being divinely warned in a dream, he withdrew to the region of Galilee. He went and dwelt in a town called Nazareth, so that what was spoken through the prophets might be fulfilled: He shall be called a Nazarene [Branch, Separated One]. [Isa. 11:1.]” Matthew 2:1-23 AMPC
There is raging when there is divine birthing. We see this especially in the birth of Jesus, and so it was the case with many in the Bible when ever the Lord’s plans and purposes were to be manifested in the earth realm through His chosen servants.
However though there be much “noise” in the spirit realm, this is the hour to lean in and listen to the voice of the Lord with great attention and detail. Listen to the warnings like the wise men, obey the dreams like Joseph, fulfill the Word of the Lord in humility.
There are long overdue birthings because this is a cycle. You may not want to hear that, but I’ve written something similar for the last couple of years as I have seen this on repeat. The best we can do is love the Lord well, listen and obey. It takes agreement to deliver quietly and in safety; pray for wisdom, and pray for the hearing, seeing, and obedient Joseph’s to rise and protect the baby. Many plans are delayed and/or are not birthed because symbolically there are “unseeing / unhearing Joseph’s” who did not believe in Mary’s miraculous conception to begin with, or they choose not listen to the instructions of the Lord. Both Mary and Joseph suffered unjust attacks of accusation and scorn, they had reason to give up if not for the Word of the Lord made known to them – thankfully they did not consider themselves wise in their own eyes and even through trial and persecution were obedient. We all need to be like the obedient Joseph’s and Mary’s who are lead by the Word of the Lord (they were lead by the Lord’s voice in angelic visitations and dreams) rather than preferring other voices of influence or authority like a Herod. The wise men, and or “wisdom” didn’t obey and return to Herod as he had requested, for wisdom recognized the plan to kill the dream and purpose of God and therefore returned to their own land (preserving inheritance).
The Lord will not birth an illegitimate child, it is contrary to His nature, for He came to be a Father to the fatherless. He is looking for both mother’s and father’s, as He can not separate Himself from unity and covenant. While the Lord watches over His Word to perform it, He works through yielded vessels who partner with Him. It is a sobering and responsible place to be.
We are covered by grace to carry the promise to fulfillment, however it is humility, wisdom and obedience that preserve inheritance.
In this season we fight low – we put our armor on, cloaked over in humility. With all of our trust and in faith, we set the humble King before us, to worship, adore, and bow before Him and pray, “Your will be done, Your Kingdom come, on earth as it is in Heaven”.
“Now I, Paul, myself am pleading with you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ—who in presence am lowly among you, but being absent am bold toward you. But I beg you that when I am present I may not be bold with that confidence by which I intend to be bold against some, who think of us as if we walked according to the flesh. For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.” II Corinthians 10:1-6 NKJV
The anointing is not illustrious or alluring, it illuminates God’s glory and is holy. This can be confusing even to the most pure in heart if not discerned correctly.
What do I mean? The anointing is attractive and it is meant to be, like a magnet or bright light the anointing coats one like a glaze to shine the Light and glory of Christ. “And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to Myself.”” John 12:32 NKJV.
When I was a young teen, I would on occasion feel “the anointing” when I was listening to secular music. One day in my room when I had been listening to the radio, I asked the Lord, how this could be, thinking I wasn’t in church and I certainly wasn’t listening to worship music. The Lord said to me, “Everyone is anointed, it’s who they choose to glorify with their anointing”. Then I realized, in the big picture we are glorifying either God or Satan, and in essence I was listening to worship music. And no servant can have two masters … I immediately understood these musicians and singers were glorifying themselves and Satan.
I understand for some this is a hard pill to swallow. While I don’t think every single non-worship song is glorying the devil, I think we have long been allured by anointing’s that glory in themselves – whether on platforms or not, whether inside the church or not, whether musical worship or not. And for that matter, worship is not limited to music; for everything we yield as a sacrifice (the giving of our time, our finances, our gifts, etc.) and in every way that we set ourselves apart unto to God in spirit, soul, and body is an act of worship. “Therefore I urge you, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies [dedicating all of yourselves, set apart] as a living sacrifice, holy and well-pleasing to God, which is your rational (logical, intelligent) act of worship. And do not be conformed to this world [any longer with its superficial values and customs], but be transformed and progressively changed [as you mature spiritually] by the renewing of your mind [focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His plan and purpose for you].”Romans 12:1-2 AMP
The purpose of the anointing is to draw men to Christ who is in you, the Anointed One. One of the meanings of anointing is “to smear”, and we must be careful to not use this covering for ourselves, for when we do we dilute and pollute what is due His Name by allowing self to penetrate through this smearing, and are now but mixture obscuring the divine mysteries. “the mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generations, but now has been revealed to His saints. To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. Him we preach, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus.” Colossians 1:26-28 NKJV
How can everyone be anointed? It’s part of the DNA the Lord created you with. Some have more visible ‘coating’ than others, yet we must remember we are anointed and graced for different things. For example, most psychics are called to be prophets but they do not know their Creator and so glorify themselves and the enemy. This is another reason why Scripture tells us if we receive our reward on earth (glory) we will not receive it in Heaven.
Satan who desired his own glory was cast from Heaven for this very reason. He recognized his anointing, beauty, and adornment, becoming infatuated with himself he desired to be exalted above God. Pride lead to his fall. ““Thus says the Lord God: “You were the signet of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty. You were in Eden, the garden of God; every precious stone was your covering, sardius, topaz, and diamond, beryl, onyx, and jasper, sapphire, emerald, and carbuncle; and crafted in gold were your settings and your engravings. On the day that you were created they were prepared. You were an anointed guardian cherub. I placed you; you were on the holy mountain of God; in the midst of the stones of fire you walked. You were blameless in your ways from the day you were created, till unrighteousness was found in you. In the abundance of your trade you were filled with violence in your midst, and you sinned; so I cast you as a profane thing from the mountain of God, and I destroyed you, O guardian cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire. Your heart was proud because of your beauty; you corrupted your wisdom for the sake of your splendor. I cast you to the ground; I exposed you before kings, to feast their eyes on you. By the multitude of your iniquities, in the unrighteousness of your trade you profaned your sanctuaries; so I brought fire out from your midst; it consumed you, and I turned you to ashes on the earth in the sight of all who saw you. All who know you among the peoples are appalled at you; you have come to a dreadful end and shall be no more forever.”” Ezekiel 28:12-19 ESV
This is why death to self is a daily requirement. “The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows].” John 10:10 AMP. We will fall daily, and we will die daily, however we either fall picking up our cross unto the Life of Christ, or we fall through our own pride. Our pride is a reflection of Satan, while our death to self is a reflection of Christ: when we feed ourselves by the sinful nature we help to exalt Satan in the spirit world and when we deny ourselves daily and feed on the Bread of Life we exalt Jesus who is the Name above every Name. And this is the daily war until the end of the age. Now we understand the final war has already been won; so this is the dilemma, the free will of man. Man’s human nature must be held in check, for we all too often become self absorbed. Satan desires the glory for himself, and as our adversary, every time we take glory for ourselves we are actually giving ground to him and giving him a jewel in his crown. He was stripped of his beauty, so the only way he can receive beauty and glory is when we offer our gems to him, and or he takes them when we fall through our pride and self exaltation. The war is for the glory, the glory shines through sons and daughters, what image do you bear? Who is your father?
Scripture writes the anointing destroys the yoke of bondage (Isaiah 10:27). When we wrongfully or selfishly use the anointing, instead of the anointing destroying yokes because of the authority given us, we are governed by the lesser rule of the enemies domain and become bonds to his slavery.
I have written of the above before, yet this is a note worthy of reverberation. You see Satan only desires your soul because He longs for a Bride as well. It is his scheming delight, trickery, and selfishness to take your soul for his glory. Vast are his empty promises wrapped in the pride of life, lust of the flesh, and lust of the eyes (and yes I am writing even to the believer’s). Rooted in self is his desire to take your gems for a crown for himself, raping your soul for any treasure then locking you away in the abyss forever in torment, and separated from Love Himself in the chambers of hell. Satan hates God and equally hates man, because men are the Light bearers of God created in His image. With an understanding that eternal darkness is his fate, Satan fueled by resentment will do anything and everything to wound a heart to detach them from their Creator. But it was Jesus, rightfully named Savior, who gave Himself for the souls of all mankind to purchase His Bride back (atonement for our sins) so that He may be One with Her. Jesus gave up His glory to die and (eventually) marry His Bride. Jesus’ love is the epitome of selflessness, this is eternal life to know the Messiah and be known by Him united as One. Death to self was His invitation to an eternal covenant of Love.
Satan was cast down from glory and desires to be lifted up, he desires ascension. He ascends through the praise of man, which to you and I looks like our sin. He longs for the breath of God, to smell the fragrance of the throne room where once his perfect pitch and melodies filled the House. Now condemned to an abode filled with the stench of sulfur, (literally the smell of rotten eggs) is but a reminder he has no life! “Your pomp is brought down to Sheol, And the sound of your stringed instruments; The maggot is spread under you, And worms cover you.’ “How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, You who weakened the nations! For you have said in your heart: ‘I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation On the farthest sides of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.’ Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol, To the lowest depths of the Pit.” Isaiah 14:11-15 NKJV.
The Bible and our spiritual realities are so simple, and yet complex. However we must remember everything in earth is a mirror of Heaven. Satan can not create, he can only imitate. In a flash of light he was disrobed of splendor and beauty, “And He said to them, I saw Satan falling like a lightning [flash] from heaven. Behold! I have given you authority and power to trample upon serpents and scorpions, and [physical and mental strength and ability] over all the power that the enemy [possesses]; and nothing shall in any way harm you. Nevertheless, do not rejoice at this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are enrolled in heaven. [Exod. 32:32; Ps. 69:28; Dan. 12:1.]” Luke 10:18-20 AMPC. We ascend with Christ when we die with Him and are seated with Him at the right side of the Father. Our lives of obedience and love are sacrifices of praises that enthrone Him, and exalt His Name, Jesus Christ the Most Holy and Anointed One. This is where we dwell with Him, “But You are holy, Enthroned in the praises of Israel.” Psalms 22:3 NKJV.
The coated Man of Light! May it be our prayer to bear the image of the Man of Heaven, honor His anointing and reflect His Light! Jesus You are the Shining One, may we humbly present You with every costly gem Your crown deserves. For our image was formed from Your face and any beauty is but Your beauty. “And just as we have borne the image [of the man] of dust, so shall we and so let us also bear the image [of the Man] of heaven.” 1 Corinthians 15:49 AMPC. “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.” James 1:17 NKJV.
“Therefore if you have been raised with Christ [to a new life, sharing in His resurrection from the dead], keep seeking the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your mind and keep focused habitually on the things above [the heavenly things], not on things that are on the earth [which have only temporal value]. For you died [to this world], and your [new, real] life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory. So put to death and deprive of power the evil longings of your earthly body [with its sensual, self-centered instincts] immorality, impurity, sinful passion, evil desire, and greed, which is [a kind of] idolatry [because it replaces your devotion to God].”Colossians 3:1-5 AMP
“The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof, the world and those who dwell therein, for he has founded it upon the seas and established it upon the rivers. Who shall ascend the hill of the Lord? And who shall stand in his holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to what is false and does not swear deceitfully. He will receive blessing from the Lord and righteousness from the God of his salvation. Such is the generation of those who seek him, who seek the face of the God of Jacob. Selah Lift up your heads, O gates! And be lifted up, O ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord, strong and mighty, the Lord, mighty in battle! Lift up your heads, O gates! And lift them up, O ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, he is the King of glory! Selah” Psalm 24:1-10 ESV
“Now am I trying to win the favor of men, or of God? Do I seek to please men? If I were still seeking popularity with men, I should not be a bond servant of Christ (the Messiah).” Galatians 1:10 AMPC
What purpose has the test, the trial, the fast, the sacrifice, the sufferings if one does not emerge taking on a greater likeness of Christ?
If I am washed and made clean by the Word, may I find my life submerged in the water of the Holy Spirit.
In the beginning the Holy Spirit was hovering and brooding over the face of the waters, and while all the Persons of the Godhead are essential for Birth, the Holy Spirit is the vital element of water; vital in the birth of creation, vital in the birth of our Savior, vital in the rebirth of mankind through baptism, and vital in the continuous ‘births’, or reformations that cause us to look more like Christ. The Holy Spirit in unity with the Father and the Son formed the seas (Genesis 1:2, 6-8), a symbol for the womb, a spiritual place where we are formed and reformed, refined, cleansed and preserved.
Perhaps the sea will cease to exist after the first earth and first heaven pass away because the Lord’s Bride is now complete and One with Him. What need is there for a sea of forgetfulness of sin when I become in finality washed and pure for my Lord? What need is there for salt to burn my eyes when then I shall fully see? What need is there for salts agitation after I have entered through the gate of Pearl? What need is there for cleansing when I am spotless and fully mature?
Until then I choose submersion. Holy Spirit hold me here. Here You uplift me formless into the life of Christ where I walk on the waters in communion with Him; this is my transformation. Here in submersion you keep me safe in Your Spirit, for if I depart I become nothing but a pillar of salt without You.
If we depart from the waters we have divided hearts like the heart of Lot’s wife, who when looked backward toward her homeland in Sodom and Gomorrah (a symbol of sin and abomination) became a pillar of salt when the Spirit left her (Genesis 19:26). For it is the Holy Spirit who leads and guides us into all Truth, and Truth is the person of Jesus.
May we all humbly pray and cry out as David, “take not Thy Holy Spirit from me!” Holy Spirit I come “under” You. Keep me submerged in Your holy waters until I emerge like Christ, again and again, may I go under when You pull me under and may arise when You say walk. Apart from You, I am nothing, keep me close lest I become a symbol of earth’s empty and void vanity – a worthless pillar of tasteless salt. Help me to love, obey, and fear You, and may I yield until the breath of Christ is entirely mine. Lead me on the waters Holy Spirit to the resting place of the Ark. As You continue to form me, being made fully alive in Christ by Your Spirit, You lead me to the dwelling place, our forever Home where in Holy Union there is no separation; I in You and You in me… the mysteries of the sanctified, created in the depths of the womb.
“Where could I go from Your Spirit? Or where could I flee from Your presence? If I ascend up into heaven, You are there; if I make my bed in Sheol (the place of the dead), behold, You are there. [Rom. 11:33.] If I take the wings of the morning or dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, Even there shall Your hand lead me, and Your right hand shall hold me. My frame was not hidden from You when I was being formed in secret [and] intricately and curiously wrought [as if embroidered with various colors] in the depths of the earth [a region of darkness and mystery]. Your eyes saw my unformed substance, and in Your book all the days [of my life] were written before ever they took shape, when as yet there was none of them.” Psalm 139:7-10, 15-16 AMPC
“Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her, So that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the Word, That He might present the church to Himself in glorious splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such things [that she might be holy and faultless].”Ephesians 5:25-27 AMPC
“For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit,” I Peter 3:18 NKJV
“Teach me Your way, O Lord, that I may walk and live in Your truth; direct and unite my heart [solely, reverently] to fear and honor Your name. [Ps. 5:11; 69:36.] I will confess and praise You, O Lord my God, with my whole (united) heart; and I will glorify Your name forevermore.” Psalm 86:11-12 AMPC
“For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God. But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His. And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.” Romans 8:5-11 NKJV
“Then in a vision I saw a new heaven and a new earth. The first heaven and earth had passed away, and the sea no longer existed. I saw the Holy City, the New Jerusalem, descending out of the heavenly realm from the presence of God, like a pleasing bride that had been prepared for her husband, adorned for her wedding. And I heard a thunderous voice from the throne, saying: “Look! God’s tabernacle is with human beings. And from now on he will tabernacle with them as their God. Now God himself will have his home with them— ‘God-with-them’ will be their God! He will wipe away every tear from their eyes and eliminate death entirely. No one will mourn or weep any longer. The pain of wounds will no longer exist, for the old order has ceased.”” Revelation 21:1-4 TPT
One of the greatest delayers to our destiny is being caught in the [sad you see] man trap. I believe man’s testings are harder to pass in contrast to when God tests a person. Man will test to seek their ‘rule’ or standard over you while God tests to look for His fruit and His Son in you. Man’s tests are often unattainable, they are religious and scrutinizing. Man’s tests will kill your flesh, and depend on man’s power to bring about any life. God’s tests will also kill your flesh, but delight in the Resurrection and the Life; they celebrate obedience and look at the heart.
Man can not measure up to man’s standards because man will always fail you, man’s ways are not higher than God’s, and furthermore man can not give you the Holy Spirit. God will not only give you the Holy Spirit to help you, though He also gives grace to the humble and help in time of need.
Man is sad with what he sees, never satisfied. The Sadducee’s mentioned in the New Testament were part of the political and religious system who aimed to trap Jesus, one of the beliefs they held was that the resurrection did not exist. Modern day application is these types of people will try to subdue or deny the power of God in and on people’s lives. It may be very subtle, but essentially they are agreeing that their power (opinion and authority) are greater than God’s opinion of you. And with this being said, I am not suggesting that we do not submit to authority.
However, in opposition to man’s (religious and often prideful) testing God is humble and is not intimidated by His own power, it is for His Son’s glory that He shines through yielded earthen vessels. God is moved by the pure heart that longs to please Him; His eyes searching for those who will reverently fear Him, love Him, and obey Him.
So how do we escape the testing of man? We don’t really except internally. We overcome in the mind by knowing the scriptures and trusting in the Lord. The testing of man is a matrix test, it is battled in mindset and belief… ‘as a man thinks so is he’, how will we be formed? We yield to the Lord’s testing, and are conformed to Him as He tests our mind and searches our heart. We do not fear man, but fear God and keep His commandments. We become victorious as we pray like David, setting the Lord before us day and night, always searching for His counsel, above the fear of man. “I will bless the Lord, Who has given me counsel; yes, my heart instructs me in the night seasons. I have set the Lord continually before me; because He is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.” Psalm 16:7-8 AMPC.
“The fear of man brings a snare, but whoever leans on, trusts in, and puts his confidence in the Lord is safe and set on high. Many crave and seek the ruler’s favor, but the wise man [waits] for justice from the Lord.” Proverbs 29:25-26 AMPC
“Teach me Your way, O Lord, that I may walk and live in Your truth; direct and unite my heart [solely, reverently] to fear and honor Your name. [Ps. 5:11; 69:36.] I will confess and praise You, O Lord my God, with my whole (united) heart; and I will glorify Your name forevermore. For great is Your mercy and loving-kindness toward me; and You have delivered me from the depths of Sheol [from the exceeding depths of affliction]. O God, the proud and insolent are risen against me; a rabble of violent and ruthless men has sought and demanded my life, and they have not set You before them. But You, O Lord, are a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in mercy and loving-kindness and truth. O turn to me and have mercy and be gracious to me; grant strength (might and inflexibility to temptation) to Your servant and save the son of Your handmaiden. Show me a sign of [Your evident] goodwill and favor, that those who hate me may see it and be put to shame, because You, Lord, [will show Your approval of me when You] help and comfort me.” Psalm 86:11-17 AMPC
“Thus says the Lord: “Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength, whose heart turns away from the Lord. He is like a shrub in the desert, and shall not see any good come. He shall dwell in the parched places of the wilderness, in an uninhabited salt land. “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord. He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit.” The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it? “I the Lord search the heart and test the mind, to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his deeds.”” Jeremiah 17:5-10 ESV
Thank You Jesus my eternal hope, Who faithfully gives new mercies every day!
“But this I call to mind, and therefore I have hope: The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “therefore I will hope in him.” The Lord is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him.” Lamentations 3:21-25 ESV
This morning I awoke coming out of a vision where I saw eggs placed in an incubator to hatch. The Holy Spirit was speaking to my spirit, then I saw the egg carton “Eggland’s Best”. Today, remember the goodness of God, He watches over His Word to perform and fulfill His promises. His great Mercy is new every day! Even if He didn’t give us anything else, He is enough, He already gave us riches unfathomable… and yet on this Thanksgiving Day He is still giving. He is reminding us that the best is yet to hatch, “Eggland’s Best”. Thank you Jesus, we are so grateful!
