Guarding The Garden

The Lord is jealous for you. ❤️‍🔥

He moves quickly to be with the one He loves and those who love Him.

His fire burns the treads of any trespassers, and like Eden His fire guards His garden, your heart and home for Him.

This is a time when He is increasingly removing all that hinders love. The removal may seem “unloving” to some, though be not mistaken – it is holy jealous love that commands the expulsion.

“It will no longer be said of you [Judah], “Azubah (Abandoned),” Nor will it any longer be said of your land, “Shemamah (Desolate)”; But you will be called, “Hephzibah (My Delight is in Her),” And your land, “Married”; For the LORD delights in you, And to Him your land will be married [owned and protected by the LORD].” Isaiah 62:4

Beloved (yadiyad)

True lovers will never apologize for their devoted love.

“I am fully devoted to my beloved, and my beloved is fully devoted to me.”
‭‭Song of Songs‬ ‭6:3‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Beloved in Hebrew is the word, yadiyad, which means “hand in hand”. Pure burning devoted hearts are not apologetic for their adoration, their unity (hand in hand) sets them apart. There is a longing to be together, and when separated from the holy burning flames, there is a fatal risk of a heart becoming cold.

“[She proudly said] I am my beloved’s, and his desire is toward me! [John 10:28.]” ‭‭Song of Solomon‬ ‭7:10‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

“For I,’ says the LORD, ‘will be a wall of fire all around her, and I will be the glory in her midst.’ ” Zechariah 2:5 NKJV

“Never again will you be called “The Forsaken City” or “The Desolate Land.” Your new name will be “The City of God’s Delight” and “The Bride of God,” for the LORD delights in you and will claim you as his bride.” Isaiah 62:4 NLT

Seated and Secure, One with the Son

Secure with the Beloved, our confidence is drawn from Him. To be lowly is to trust in Him, not ourselves. This seat of humility and honor we abide in oneness with Him; we love Him, commune with Him, we live and move and do all that He asks. His love, His will, His plans, His decrees, His authority releases through the yielded vessel as they remain in Him.

Would the Father leave the Son? No, they are one. Jesus the Word made flesh now lives in you, the Spirit testifies to that Word whom is Christ in you the hope of glory. You can do all things in Him so how could the Father leave when the Son now lives in you? No never, He watches over His Son, His Word in you to perform it. When you are one with the Word, all that it has formed will be accomplished through you. This is how you live out “perfect will” of God, through oneness with the Son.

You are seated with the Son, and you live out these heavenly realities through revelation of the Word. “But God–so rich is He in His mercy! Because of and in order to satisfy the great and wonderful and intense love with which He loved us, Even when we were dead (slain) by [our own] shortcomings and trespasses, He made us alive together in fellowship and in union with Christ; [He gave us the very life of Christ Himself, the same new life with which He quickened Him, for] it is by grace (His favor and mercy which you did not deserve) that you are saved (delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ’s salvation). And He raised us up together with Him and made us sit down together [giving us joint seating with Him] in the heavenly sphere [by virtue of our being] in Christ Jesus (the Messiah, the Anointed One).” ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭2:4-6‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

“Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.”” ‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭31:6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“Then shall your light break forth like the morning, and your healing (your restoration and the power of a new life) shall spring forth speedily; your righteousness (your rightness, your justice, and your right relationship with God) shall go before you [conducting you to peace and prosperity], and the glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard. [Exod. 14:19, 20; Isa. 52:12.]” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭58:8‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

FINDING THE TRUSTWORTHY

The “Judas spirit” will often show up right before your biggest breakthrough, destiny shifts, or other monumental moments in your life. It happened to Jesus too… Overcoming it looks much like Him as well; walk in love and humility, bless those who persecute you, turn the other cheek, focus on your mission, trust the Father, and die to self unto living a transformed life in resurrection power.

Through this adversity hearts and motives are exposed. Though there are varying levels of betrayal, this is important because the Lord will use it to reveal those who can not be in close communion (if any) with you any longer. Because they did not honor you, protect you, or believe in your calling, and they did not discern and respect the authority given to you they will not receive the inheritance of the Lord’s fruitful treasure in you. This will effect both the spiritual and natural realms. Covenant breaking is painful, and as cliche as it sounds, it truly is better now than later. It is a blessing to know who is among you and trustworthy – lest they spoil the entire treasury, the most important of which is in your heart.

Jesus, the One who already overcame is your defender, acquainted with this sorrow He cares for you, lay the burden of it upon Him. He understands broken communion, He was broken for you.

🐑🩸🤍

“How blessed you are when people insult and persecute you and speak all kinds of cruel lies about you because of your love for me!” Matthew 5:11 TPT

“So here’s what I’ve learned through it all: Leave all your cares and anxieties at the feet of the Lord, and measureless grace will strengthen you. He will watch over his devoted lovers, never letting them slip or be overthrown. He will send all my enemies to the pit of destruction. Murderers, liars, and betrayers will face an untimely death. My life’s hope and trust is in you, and you’ll never fail to rescue me!” Psalms 55:22-23 TPT

PLEASING TO HIM

When our sole purpose and ambition is to please the Lord; our Savior, our King, our Master, our Friend, our Bridegroom; the integrity of one’s heart is governed by the pure driven intention to know Him. The more purely we are attached to this desire, the more our actions, purposes, goals, and motives will be rightly aligned. As humans in our fallen world we can be easily deceived into thinking we are virtuous through outward gifting, speech, knowledge, works and the like all ‘within the name of the Lord’ though few are honest with themselves to discern what is in their own heart. This is the difference of choosing to grow in maturity or not. Many are called, few are chosen. I want to be a chosen one! The narrow road requires great agility and focus, we must train and yield now, so when the time comes we are able follow where He leads no matter how slim the passage. The pathway to Zion is different for each of us, though none of us will reach the glory of her heights if our focus isn’t upon Him. This is a time He is weighing more heavily what is in our hearts by looking closely at our thoughts and motives. If we want increase, we must empty ourselves.

“Therefore, whether we are at home [on earth away from Him] or away from home [and with Him], we are constantly ambitious and strive earnestly to be pleasing to Him. For we must all appear and be revealed as we are before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive [his pay] according to what he has done in the body, whether good or evil [considering what his purpose and motive have been, and what he has achieved, been busy with, and given himself and his attention to accomplishing]. Therefore, being conscious of fearing the Lord with respect and reverence, we seek to win people over [to persuade them]. But what sort of persons we are is plainly recognized and thoroughly understood by God, and I hope that it is plainly recognized and thoroughly understood also by your consciences (your inborn discernment). We are not commending ourselves to you again, but we are providing you with an occasion and incentive to be [rightfully] proud of us, so that you may have a reply for those who pride themselves on surface appearances [on the virtues they only appear to have], although their heart is devoid of them.”

FINISH LINE

“You led Your people like a flock By the hand of Moses and Aaron [to the promised goal].”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭77:20‬ ‭AMP‬‬

I heard in the Spirit recently “finish line”. Many are right there at the finish line, so very near to the promised goal. Stay the course, cross the waters, don’t mind the storm because the Lord is in it. The miracle is already transpiring, just look at Him and trust in His salvation, for the Lord alone holds the power to save!

SHEEP AND GOATS

It has been months ago now I heard in the Spirit “litmus test” more than once. I didn’t understand it at first but soon came to realize the Lord was sending me on assignment and teaching me even through my own suffering, allowing me to see the condition of the Body as a whole. Over a period of about four months through various trials, circumstances, encounters, and mostly through the way others responded to me He was showing me “where the Body was at” so to speak through the litmus tests.

The Lord has been teaching me shepherding through Shepherding me, because a shepherd knows their flock. Our great Shepherd leads with both rod and staff, this is a pivotal time in history and the Body needs both love and correction. Through humbling me in my own life, He showed more than I ever wanted to know – while crushed speechless so I couldn’t boast in what He was sharing with me. This is just a very small impression of the overall dynamic that was laying on me heavy last night – which I hope is perceived through the contrition of my heart, not in judgment or anger.

Last night I went to sleep feeling the grief of the Lord, particularly over how Christian’s within the Church body treat one another. The below scripture came to mind as I said aloud we are hurting His heart. I awoke early to hear the Lord speak in my spirit for a long while regarding.

“And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭25:40‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

When did I think I was better than you Lord?

When did I slander your name Lord?

When did I exalt myself over You, Lord?

When was I excluding You from “my group”, Lord?

When did I cut in front of You, Lord?

When did I tell lies and spread rumors about You, Lord?

When did I look down on You, Lord?

When did I compete with you Lord?

When did I judge you, Lord?

When did I accuse you, Lord?

When did I try and “block” You, Lord?

When did I act like I was more gifted than You, Lord?

When did I say I deserved Your seat, Lord?

When did I say I owned a position in Your house, Lord?

When did I pretend to serve You in humility, Lord?

When did I pretend to love You, Lord?

When?

“And the King will reply to them, Truly I tell you, in so far as you did it for one of the least [in the estimation of men] of these My brethren, you did it for Me. [Prov. 19:17.]” Matthew‬ ‭25:40‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

The least of men according to our own estimations….

Why are the sheep acting like goats? One reason is the Church has exchanged discipline for the discipleship of the spirit of the world, and Babylon still longs for her.

The Church is lagging behind in immaturity living beneath her calling, the Lord is patient but He is also Holy, and His heart is grieved. There is much work to be done, and it’s time to grow and mature. How do we expect to steward mass harvest when we are still cutting down our own, fighting for position or seeking our own glory … all in His Name? Oh how this burdens His heart!

Sheep, goats, wheat, tares; what’s the difference you ask? Fruit. We are judged by God and separated by fruit.

Are we houses of healing or houses of hurt? No longer can the two streams coincide together. If we hurt people in thought, judgments, words, actions – we are hurting the Lord Jesus in thoughts, we are judging Him, we condemn ourselves by condemning others with our mouths, and the action is just a mere reality of wickedness in our hearts – the very place we boast He has a home.

Litmus test is defined by Webster’s dictionary, “something (such as an opinion about a political or moral issue) that is used to make a judgment about whether someone or something is acceptable”. The Lord loves us more than we could ever imagine and equally He is just and righteous deciding what He is for and what He is against. It is maturity to embrace, welcome and even ask for pruning. You are loved by God when you are disciplined by Him. Get in the fire before it consumes you. Yield and prefer the Holy Flame! Judge yourself so you will not be judged.

Father, forgive us. Holy Spirit convict us. Jesus change us.

“Then he said to me, This [addition of the bowl to the candlestick, causing it to yield a ceaseless supply of oil from the olive trees] is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit [of Whom the oil is a symbol], says the Lord of hosts.”
‭‭Zechariah‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

Spirit move upon us, burn away the chaff, and burn our hearts with holy devotion unto Your Name! Make us a people who truly fear Your Name and keep Your commandments. If we love you, we will obey. Your sheep hear Your Voice and the voices of strangers they do not follow. Guardian of our soul keep us for you!

Just Stay

Those who see the Lord face to face are the staying kind. When everyone else leaves will you stay to hear His Voice?

“And when you heard the voice out of the midst of the darkness, while the mountain was burning with fire, you came near me, all the heads of your tribes and your elders; And you said, Behold, the Lord our God has shown us His glory and His greatness, and we have heard His voice out of the midst of the fire; we have this day seen that God speaks with man and man still lives. Now therefore, why should we die? For this great fire will consume us; if we hear the voice of the Lord our God any longer, we shall die. For who is there of all flesh who has heard the voice of the living God speaking out of the midst of fire, as we have, and lived? Go near [Moses] and hear all that the Lord our God will say. And speak to us all that the Lord our God will speak to you; and we will hear and do it. And the Lord heard your words when you spoke to me and the Lord said to me, I have heard the words of this people which they have spoken to you. They have said well all that they have spoken. Oh, that they had such a [mind and] heart in them always [reverently] to fear Me and keep all My commandments, that it might go well with them and with their children forever! Go and say to them, Return to your tents. But you [Moses], stand here by Me, and I will tell you all the commandments and the statutes and the precepts which you shall teach them, that they may do them in the land which I give them to possess.” ‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭5:23-31‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

Lord, give us the minds and hearts to always fear You and keep your commandments. This is true covenant, when we choose to stay, and listen to Your heart and Voice. Please don’t send me “back to my tent”. Let us be a people that commune with the living God, face to face; I don’t want to know You from a distance, Eyes of fire consume my soul!
