Who will reign in the Kingdom realm of Heaven?

C. S. Lewis had it right …

In Matthew 18 the disciples asked Jesus who would be greatest in the Kingdom. In the Aramaic the question is read, “Who will reign in the kingdom realm of heaven?”

“At that time the disciples came to ask Jesus, “Who is considered to be the greatest in heaven’s kingdom realm?” Jesus called a little one to his side and said to them, “Learn this well: Unless you dramatically change your way of thinking and become teachable like a little child, you will never be able to enter in. Whoever continually humbles himself to become like this little child is the greatest one in heaven’s kingdom realm. And if you tenderly care for this little one on my behalf, you are tenderly caring for me.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭18:1-5‬ ‭TPT‬‬

“AT THAT time the disciples came up and asked Jesus, Who then is [really] the greatest in the kingdom of heaven? And He called a little child to Himself and put him in the midst of them, And said, Truly I say to you, unless you repent (change, turn about) and become like little children [trusting, lowly, loving, forgiving], you can never enter the kingdom of heaven [at all]. Whoever will humble himself therefore and become like this little child [trusting, lowly, loving, forgiving] is greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoever receives and accepts and welcomes one little child like this for My sake and in My name receives and accepts and welcomes Me.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭18:1-5‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

Trusting. Lowly. Loving. Forgiving.

Lord help us to truly see as You see! Even kings on this earth and some “spiritual generals” may not inherit as most would presume in heavens Kingdom because they already received their reward on earth.

Restore our wonder and desire to serve and love You wholeheartedly without question (doubt) or shame.

You may feel overlooked here on earth and in some respects like a child, but be encouraged because Heaven is looking, listening and watching.

May we be known by
Love. Faith. Humilty. Obedience. Character.
