Addendum – A WARNING, AND THE REDEMPTION OF THE OX AND THE PLOW (released 2.11.21)

This is not about the sides of ‘union’ or ‘confederate’ in history, this is about symbolism. Keep watching and pay attention!

Yesterday, 2.12 while spending time with the Lord I heard Stonewall, and then Jackson. I put the two names together and I remembered this was a man’s name and historical figure, but could not recall much else. When I went to research him, I thought this information was particularly interesting as I just released a word regarding the ox and bull the day prior, and heard Stonewall on the actual day of the Chinese New Year; the year of the ox (their word also includes bull, cow, and buffalo). This is significant because Thomas (Stonewall) Jackson received his nickname at the Battle of Bull Run.

“Jackson earned his nickname at the First Battle of Bull Run (also known as Manassas) in July 1861 when he rushed his troops forward to close a gap in the line against a determined Union attack. Upon observing Jackson, one of his fellow generals reportedly said, “Look, men, there is Jackson standing like a stone wall!”–a comment that spawned Jackson’s nickname. Jackson was commissioned a major general in October 1861.”

“The First Battle of Bull Run, also known as the Battle of Manassas, marked the first major land battle of the American Civil War. On July 21, 1861, Union and Confederate armies clashed near Manassas Junction, Virginia. The engagement began when about 35,000 Union troops marched from the federal capital in Washington, D.C. to strike a Confederate force of 20,000 along a small river known as Bull Run. After fighting on the defensive for most of the day, the rebels rallied and were able to break the Union right flank, sending the Federals into a chaotic retreat towards Washington. The Confederate victory gave the South a surge of confidence and shocked many in the North, who realized the war would not be won as easily as they had hoped.” (https://www.history.com/topics/american-civil-war/first-battle-of-bull-run)

Manassas is a boy’s name from the Hebrew, Manasseh. “The name Manasseh is generally seen as derived from the verb נשה (nasha), to forget but forgetting due to “evaporation” of a memory the way water evaporates due to solar heat, or the way a principle evaporates due to interest:” “Verb נשא (nasa’) describes an upward motion, generally of something that is being pulled up and out so as to remove it. This verb occurs very often and can usually be translated with (1) to lift or lift up, (2) to bear or carry, and (3) to take or take away. An identical verb (or rather the same one used in a specialized way) means to loan on interest. The practice of loaning on interest causes the principal sum to slowly but surely evaporate and was prohibited under Mosaic law. A third identical verb (or again the same one) means to deceive or beguile.” “The name Manasseh is probably due to a grammatical form in Hebrew that is comparable to the English present continuous. It fixes the letter מ (mem) to the root. That would give the name Manasseh the meaning of Forgetting. Another reason why a mem may occur in front of a root is when it comes from a particle that means “from”. Hence the name Manasseh may also mean From A Debt.” (https://www.abarim-publications.com/Meaning/Manasseh.html)

As we continue to battle in the unseen realm, we often will be given symbols that are clues to us in the natural realm. These symbols help us put the puzzle together, give us strategies to pray, and make us aware of what is on God’s heart. We need to continue to “mind the gap” in prayer and in intercession. I believe the Lord is showing us significant things are transpiring in the Spiritual realm as we set our faces like flint (stone) before Him with intention. The enemy will not penetrate successfully when we close the open areas where we are susceptible to attack. There is more revelation to unpack in this, but I’ll let you come to those conclusions on your own. Blessings!
