I heard the Spirit saying these words over America today, “If not now, then when?”. If not now, when will you pray? When will you fast? When will you incline your ear to His voice? When will you look at Him when He pulls at your heart? When?
Though He is slow to anger and abounding in love, Genesis 6:3 writes, “My Spirit shall not always plead with man; for he indeed is flesh.” In addition to plead, other translations write His Spirit will not always contend, abide, or strive with man. These words in the Hebrew translate (Gen. 6:3) ‘duwn {doon}; a primitive roy a straight course, i.e. sail direct:–(come) with a straight course.’ To sail direct is a picture that the Holy Spirit (wind) may not always speak with us so directly to straighten our course.
We are in a window of opportunity for Mercy and preparation. This is the hour to commune directly with Him. The Spirit is saying seek Him while He May be found.
“Seek the Lord while he may be found; call upon him while he is near; let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the Lord, that he may have compassion on him, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.” Isaiah 55:6-7 ESV
For those of you who feel weary, I heard “take 10”. In other words, take a break, regroup, refresh, etc. Take time to wash yourself in the water of God’s word – He will revive you and you will come back in this Spiritual war with renewed mental clarity and physical stamina.
God Bless you warriors. 🔥⚔️🕊
