A HEAVENLY ASSIGNMENT

Your heavenly assignment ordains you with a license to act.
License – noun. A permit from an authority to own or use something, do a particular thing, or carry on a trade : permission to act, freedom of action.
I recently have been thinking of my time in Japan after the tsunami and earthquake when I ventured overseas to help as a crisis responder with Iris Relief in 2011. I felt the Lord speaking to me through some of these memories. Ironically, the attached photo I had taken while there appeared in my photo memories and I knew I was meant to share this with you. Journey back with me, it was nine years ago I was able to take a quick snap while on the road, proving something very significant- a symbol and a sign confirming I was in the very center of God’s will and assignment, right where He wanted me to be. God was speaking very directly through a license plate. A license plate defined as : a plate or tag (as of metal) attesting that a license has been secured and usually bearing a registration number. These numbers on the plate couldn’t have been tailored to me more specifically. It was as if God was saying this assignment was ordained and registered in Heaven even before I gained entrance into this world. “Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.” Psalm 139:16 Let me expound.

Similarly, as it is in our current global situation with the corona virus, we had a lot of mixed reports from the media on data from the catastrophic events. The facts were particularly unclear regarding safety and radiation exposure as the US and Japan were issuing different statements.

Despite contradicting information, and many people warning me I shouldn’t take the risk, I made the decision to go to Japan because it was my assignment. This assignment was hidden in the secret place, and when the time came it bore witness with my spirit and was revealed. The night of the earthquake, I woke up in the middle of the night praying and saw the information that Japan had experienced a 9.0 earthquake, one of the worst in global history, and the worst ever to be recorded in Japan. Instantly I knew I had to get there. There is no other explanation other than I had a “knowing”. From that time forward until I left for Japan I would have dreams and visions that split my heart wide open for the people, revealing prayer burdens and strategies, words of knowledge, and prophetic insights that helped prepare me. One of these visions I’ll never forget – on one night before I left the Holy Spirit woke me up to pray, He showed me an open vision of someone stuck in the rubble. He led me with night vision goggles and He said pray they encounter me. So I prayed knowing they did not know the Lord, and began to pray that they would encounter Jesus until the burden lifted and I saw Jesus in night goggles had found them. This supernatural experience will forever be with me, but more importantly someone called upon the Name of the Lord and they were heard! (Romans 10:13). “The Lord does not delay [as though He were unable to act] and is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is [extraordinarily] patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9

These supernatural experiences were happening before I even left for Japan, and given that I had already been living my life “assignment driven”, I was all in, as I knew this was a divine assignment. Going forward, by the time I heard the reports regardless of the information they held and their lack of clarity, the decision was already made because it was my assignment. Yes there was risk of radiation exposure, and I prayed over my ovaries but I also had a scripture of promise in Isaiah 54 “Shout for joy, O barren one, she who has not given birth; Break forth into joyful shouting and rejoice, she who has not gone into labor [with child]! For the [spiritual] sons of the desolate one will be more numerous Than the sons of the married woman,” says the LORD.” Isaiah‬ ‭54:1‬ ‭This was a moment I knew wasn’t about me and it was about spiritual sons and daughters, it was about destiny and salvation. It was one of my Esther moments, fully aware it was my purpose to be sent “for such a time as this” (Esther 4:14).

Once I actually arrived in Japan it was like walking into WWlll. It was horrifying and beautiful at the same time. We had plenty of stories of healing (emotional and physical) and other miracles. But very humbly I write with tears, the Lord allowed me to walk in the most unusual gift. I had never seen anything like it before or since. This was not my “normal” way of ministering at all… but wherever we would go the Lord would tell me who was ready to be saved. Where ever we did ministry I would walk into the room or shelter and He would say this one, and this one, and this one… etc and go around the room. Gods Kingdom assignment for me endowed me with an unusual gift of words of knowledge and evangelism and every person He showed me would receive Him. Sometimes I would go to someone else that He did not point out and He would tell me they aren’t ready and to go to the person He showed me with a sense of urgency. About 1% of Japan’s population are Christians, I was there to cast the net.
On more than one occasion our team experienced intense aftershocks of 6.0 – 7.0 magnitude while ministering in and around the very epicenter of destruction! We may experience “aftershocks” of the corona virus for awhile. We probably will not have clear facts. I encourage you to know and align with your assignment, and obey for “such a time as this”. I am not suggesting you rebel against authorities but I am suggesting you submit to our highest authority Christ. Your assignment gives you license.

In the definition of corona, the word is ‘likened to a crown’ , I saw a vision of many Sons and Daughters going into the epicenter of ‘the corona’, the aftermath of the ‘rubble’. They were bending down (humility) and placing new crowns on uncovered heads, those sitting in ‘the ashes’. Crowns of a New Kingdom, a Heavenly Kingdom.
[But what of that?] For I consider that the sufferings of this present time (this present life) are not worth being compared with the glory that is about to be revealed to us and in us and for us and conferred on us! For [even the whole] creation (all nature) waits expectantly and longs earnestly for God’s sons to be made known [waits for the revealing, the disclosing of their sonship].For the creation (nature) was subjected to frailty (to futility, condemned to frustration), not because of some intentional fault on its part, but by the will of Him Who so subjected it—[yet] with the hope That nature (creation) itself will be set free from its bondage to decay and corruption [and gain an entrance] into the glorious freedom of God’s children. We know that the whole creation [of irrational creatures] has been moaning together in the pains of labor until now.” Romans 8: 18-22. This global awakening will pull on you. Know your assignment. Be ready. The earth is groaning for you and the message of hope you carry.
