FINDING THE TRUSTWORTHY

The “Judas spirit” will often show up right before your biggest breakthrough, destiny shifts, or other monumental moments in your life. It happened to Jesus too… Overcoming it looks much like Him as well; walk in love and humility, bless those who persecute you, turn the other cheek, focus on your mission, trust the Father, and die to self unto living a transformed life in resurrection power.

Through this adversity hearts and motives are exposed. Though there are varying levels of betrayal, this is important because the Lord will use it to reveal those who can not be in close communion (if any) with you any longer. Because they did not honor you, protect you, or believe in your calling, and they did not discern and respect the authority given to you they will not receive the inheritance of the Lord’s fruitful treasure in you. This will effect both the spiritual and natural realms. Covenant breaking is painful, and as cliche as it sounds, it truly is better now than later. It is a blessing to know who is among you and trustworthy – lest they spoil the entire treasury, the most important of which is in your heart.

Jesus, the One who already overcame is your defender, acquainted with this sorrow He cares for you, lay the burden of it upon Him. He understands broken communion, He was broken for you.

“How blessed you are when people insult and persecute you and speak all kinds of cruel lies about you because of your love for me!” Matthew 5:11 TPT

“So here’s what I’ve learned through it all: Leave all your cares and anxieties at the feet of the Lord, and measureless grace will strengthen you. He will watch over his devoted lovers, never letting them slip or be overthrown. He will send all my enemies to the pit of destruction. Murderers, liars, and betrayers will face an untimely death. My life’s hope and trust is in you, and you’ll never fail to rescue me!” Psalms 55:22-23 TPT

PLEASING TO HIM

When our sole purpose and ambition is to please the Lord; our Savior, our King, our Master, our Friend, our Bridegroom; the integrity of one’s heart is governed by the pure driven intention to know Him. The more purely we are attached to this desire, the more our actions, purposes, goals, and motives will be rightly aligned. As humans in our fallen world we can be easily deceived into thinking we are virtuous through outward gifting, speech, knowledge, works and the like all ‘within the name of the Lord’ though few are honest with themselves to discern what is in their own heart. This is the difference of choosing to grow in maturity or not. Many are called, few are chosen. I want to be a chosen one! The narrow road requires great agility and focus, we must train and yield now, so when the time comes we are able follow where He leads no matter how slim the passage. The pathway to Zion is different for each of us, though none of us will reach the glory of her heights if our focus isn’t upon Him. This is a time He is weighing more heavily what is in our hearts by looking closely at our thoughts and motives. If we want increase, we must empty ourselves.

“Therefore, whether we are at home [on earth away from Him] or away from home [and with Him], we are constantly ambitious and strive earnestly to be pleasing to Him. For we must all appear and be revealed as we are before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive [his pay] according to what he has done in the body, whether good or evil [considering what his purpose and motive have been, and what he has achieved, been busy with, and given himself and his attention to accomplishing]. Therefore, being conscious of fearing the Lord with respect and reverence, we seek to win people over [to persuade them]. But what sort of persons we are is plainly recognized and thoroughly understood by God, and I hope that it is plainly recognized and thoroughly understood also by your consciences (your inborn discernment). We are not commending ourselves to you again, but we are providing you with an occasion and incentive to be [rightfully] proud of us, so that you may have a reply for those who pride themselves on surface appearances [on the virtues they only appear to have], although their heart is devoid of them.”

SHEEP AND GOATS

It has been months ago now I heard in the Spirit “litmus test” more than once. I didn’t understand it at first but soon came to realize the Lord was sending me on assignment and teaching me even through my own suffering, allowing me to see the condition of the Body as a whole. Over a period of about four months through various trials, circumstances, encounters, and mostly through the way others responded to me He was showing me “where the Body was at” so to speak through the litmus tests.

The Lord has been teaching me shepherding through Shepherding me, because a shepherd knows their flock. Our great Shepherd leads with both rod and staff, this is a pivotal time in history and the Body needs both love and correction. Through humbling me in my own life, He showed more than I ever wanted to know – while crushed speechless so I couldn’t boast in what He was sharing with me. This is just a very small impression of the overall dynamic that was laying on me heavy last night – which I hope is perceived through the contrition of my heart, not in judgment or anger.

Last night I went to sleep feeling the grief of the Lord, particularly over how Christian’s within the Church body treat one another. The below scripture came to mind as I said aloud we are hurting His heart. I awoke early to hear the Lord speak in my spirit for a long while regarding.

“And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭25:40‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

When did I think I was better than you Lord?

When did I slander your name Lord?

When did I exalt myself over You, Lord?

When was I excluding You from “my group”, Lord?

When did I cut in front of You, Lord?

When did I tell lies and spread rumors about You, Lord?

When did I look down on You, Lord?

When did I compete with you Lord?

When did I judge you, Lord?

When did I accuse you, Lord?

When did I try and “block” You, Lord?

When did I act like I was more gifted than You, Lord?

When did I say I deserved Your seat, Lord?

When did I say I owned a position in Your house, Lord?

When did I pretend to serve You in humility, Lord?

When did I pretend to love You, Lord?

When?

“And the King will reply to them, Truly I tell you, in so far as you did it for one of the least [in the estimation of men] of these My brethren, you did it for Me. [Prov. 19:17.]” Matthew‬ ‭25:40‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

The least of men according to our own estimations….

Why are the sheep acting like goats? One reason is the Church has exchanged discipline for the discipleship of the spirit of the world, and Babylon still longs for her.

The Church is lagging behind in immaturity living beneath her calling, the Lord is patient but He is also Holy, and His heart is grieved. There is much work to be done, and it’s time to grow and mature. How do we expect to steward mass harvest when we are still cutting down our own, fighting for position or seeking our own glory … all in His Name? Oh how this burdens His heart!

Sheep, goats, wheat, tares; what’s the difference you ask? Fruit. We are judged by God and separated by fruit.

Are we houses of healing or houses of hurt? No longer can the two streams coincide together. If we hurt people in thought, judgments, words, actions – we are hurting the Lord Jesus in thoughts, we are judging Him, we condemn ourselves by condemning others with our mouths, and the action is just a mere reality of wickedness in our hearts – the very place we boast He has a home.

Litmus test is defined by Webster’s dictionary, “something (such as an opinion about a political or moral issue) that is used to make a judgment about whether someone or something is acceptable”. The Lord loves us more than we could ever imagine and equally He is just and righteous deciding what He is for and what He is against. It is maturity to embrace, welcome and even ask for pruning. You are loved by God when you are disciplined by Him. Get in the fire before it consumes you. Yield and prefer the Holy Flame! Judge yourself so you will not be judged.

Father, forgive us. Holy Spirit convict us. Jesus change us.

“Then he said to me, This [addition of the bowl to the candlestick, causing it to yield a ceaseless supply of oil from the olive trees] is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit [of Whom the oil is a symbol], says the Lord of hosts.”
‭‭Zechariah‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

Spirit move upon us, burn away the chaff, and burn our hearts with holy devotion unto Your Name! Make us a people who truly fear Your Name and keep Your commandments. If we love you, we will obey. Your sheep hear Your Voice and the voices of strangers they do not follow. Guardian of our soul keep us for you!

Return To Me (Again)

We are coming into a time when the truth will be seen “rightly” and it will be as the saying goes, “truth is stranger than fiction”.

The deceptive layer blinding the eyes and hearts of many is the real fiction, and while we have been comfortable to rebuke truth and hold fiction in its place – there will soon be no denying the false realities we have eagerly embraced for generations.

The arrogance of man will be humbled. The lofty thoughts will be made to bow low. The winds will sift throughout all the earth, lifting up and tearing down. Many will say, “Is this evil, or is this good?” And the Lord says yes it is both.

Repent (change your thinking) Repent (change your mind) – the glory clouds are coming to weigh the hearts and the mind. And as Elijah left this earth so will his spirit return, so look for the winds and the hurricanes as they will be a sign.

Return to me, return to me, hearts turn to the Father. Return to me, return to me and drink this last cup of water.

‬ ““Go up through the rows of Jerusalem’s vineyards and destroy [them], But do not completely destroy everything. Strip away her branches and the tendrils [of her vines], For they are not the Lord’s. For the house of Israel and the house of Judah Have dealt very treacherously (faithlessly) with Me,” declares the Lord. They have lied about and denied the Lord By saying, “It is not He [who speaks through His prophets]; Misfortune and evil shall not come on us, Nor will we see war or famine. The prophets are like the wind [their prophecy will not come to pass], And the word [of God] is not in them. In this manner it will be done to them [as they prophesied, not to us].” Therefore, thus says the Lord God of hosts, “Because you [people] have spoken this word, Behold, I am making My words a fire in your mouth [Jeremiah] And this people wood, and My words will consume them. Behold, I am bringing a nation against you from far away, O house of Israel,” says the Lord. “It is a mighty and enduring nation, It is an ancient nation, A nation whose language you do not know, Whose words you do not comprehend. Their quiver is [filled with the dead] like an open grave; They are all mighty men [heroes of their nation]. They will consume your harvest and [eat up] your bread; They will consume your sons and your daughters; They will consume your flocks and your herds; They will consume your vines and your fig trees. With the sword they will break down and demolish your fortified cities in which you trust. “But even in those days,” says the Lord, “I will not totally destroy you. It will come about when your people say, ‘Why has the Lord our God done all these things to us?’ then you shall answer them, ‘As you have abandoned (rejected) Me,’ [says the Lord,] ‘and have served strange and foreign gods in your land, so you will serve strangers in a land that is not yours.’”
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭5:10-19‬ ‭AMP‬‬

““Behold, I am going to send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and terrible day of the Lord. He will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers [a reconciliation produced by repentance], so that I will not come and strike the land with a curse [of complete destruction].””

Believe In His Faithfulness

What you believe about God and who He says He is matters greatly, we are in a pivotal moment where even our breakthroughs are hinged on our belief systems. As written below, we need to examine ourselves and cleanse our hearts from unwarranted doubt concerning His faithfulness. God is the Lord and He changes not! “Jesus Christ is [eternally changeless, always] the same yesterday and today and forever.” ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭13:8‬ ‭AMP‬‬

“Therefore, thus says the Lord [to Jeremiah], “If you repent [and give up this mistaken attitude of despair and self-pity], then I will restore you [to a state of inner peace] So that you may stand before Me [as My obedient representative]; And if you separate the precious from the worthless [examining yourself and cleansing your heart from unwarranted doubt concerning My faithfulness], You will become My spokesman. Let the people turn to you [and learn to value My values]— But you, you must not turn to them [with regard for their idolatry and wickedness]. And I will make you to this people A fortified wall of bronze; They will fight against you, But they will not prevail over you, For I am with you [always] to save you And protect you,” says the Lord. “So I will rescue you out of the hand of the wicked, And I will redeem you from the [grasping] palm of the terrible and ruthless [tyrant].”” Jeremiah‬ ‭15:19-21‬ ‭AMP‬‬

When the Church becomes a house of exclusivity, it becomes home to self-made kingdoms.

When the Church becomes a house of exclusivity, it becomes home to self-made kingdoms. This unfortunately, perpetuates idolatry “unaware”.

Many are familiar with the passage from Isaiah 22 known as The Valley Of Vision, as it is often quoted from verse 22, “And the key of the house of David I will lay upon his shoulder; he shall open and no one shall shut, he shall shut and no one shall open.” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭22:22‬ ‭AMPC‬‬.

However, if you read the chapter in it’s entirety, this is a changing of the guard verse. Earlier in the chapter the leaders in Jerusalem fled with the King, they saw breaches in wall of the city of David and tore down houses to provide themselves materials to expand the city wall. Additionally, Shebna who was a steward and in charge of the royal household was building himself a tomb worthy of a king. The Lord refers to Shebna as the shame of his masters house for his lack of humility and assuming a position that he wasn’t entitled to. Furthermore, he was attempting to affix himself in the foundation. “Come, go to this [contemptible] steward and treasurer, to Shebna, who is over the house [but who is presumptuous enough to be building himself a tomb among those of the mighty, a tomb worthy of a king], and say to him, What business have you here? And whom have you entombed here, that you have the right to hew out for yourself a tomb here? He hews out a sepulcher for himself on the height! He carves out a dwelling for himself in the rock!” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭22:15-16‬ ‭AMPC‬‬. The foundations are at risk, says the Lord!

Not all that is being built is from the Lord, and it may seem right to man, even those who are in leadership but the Lord will have His way. It’s better to yield to the Lord now than have it stripped away by Him. As written above, we may be taking from the security and provision of others (tearing down homes) to build what seems to be a stronger wall for the protection of all and/or ‘the greater good’, yet it is damaging to those within those fortified walls, aka The Body.

“Behold, the Lord will hurl you away violently, O you strong man; yes, He will take tight hold of you and He will surely cover you [with shame]. He will surely roll you up in a bundle [Shebna] and toss you like a ball into a large country; there you will die and there will be your splendid chariots, you disgrace to your master’s house! And I will thrust you from your office, and from your station will you be pulled down. And in that day I will call My servant, Eliakim son of Hilkiah. And I will clothe him with your robe and will bind your girdle on him and will commit your authority to his hand; he shall be a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem and to the house of Judah. And the key of the house of David I will lay upon his shoulder; he shall open and no one shall shut, he shall shut and no one shall open. And I will fasten him like a peg or nail in a firm place; and he will become a throne of honor and glory to his father’s house.” Isaiah‬ ‭22:17-23‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

OCCUPY

Now is the time to OCCUPY the space you’ve been given – lest it be overtaken by a different authority. I was given a warning dream last night, and it was very clear we need to steward our spiritual authority and what the Lord has given to us; promises, gifts, inheritance, spiritual land, etc. Ultimately, it’s a stewarding of His voice! Our callings and future life are dependent upon it.

This is a season of Love and War!

“And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come.” Luke‬ ‭19:13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

From Noah Webster’s 1828 Dictionary:
OC’CUPY, v.t. [L. occupo; ob and capio, to seize or take.]

  1. To take possession. The person who first occupies land which has no owner, has the right of property.
  2. To keep in possession; to possess; to hold or keep for use. The tenant occupies a farm under a lease of twenty one years. A lodger occupies an apartment; a man occupies the chair in which he sits.
  3. To take up; to possess; to cover or fill. The camp occupies five acres of ground. Air may be so rarefied as to occupy a vast space. The writing occupies a sheet of paper, or it occupies five lines only.
  4. To employ; to use.
The archbishop may have occasion to occupy more chaplains than six.
  5. To employ; to busy one’s self. Every man should be occupied, or should occupy himself, in some useful labor.
  6. To follow, as business.
All the ships of the sea with their mariners were in thee to occupy thy merchandise. Ezek 27.
  7. To use; to expend.
All the gold that was occupied for the work – Exo 38. [Not now in use.]
OC’CUPY, v.i. To follow business; to negotiate.
Occupy till I come. Luke 19.

NOTHING CONCEALED

Part 1

A message for the Global Church

Earlier this month on Sunday, July 10, my friend picked me up for church which gave me the ability to finish getting ready in the car, and by getting ready I mean applying my makeup as it’s almost always the last step for me and on-the-go. This day I couldn’t find my concealer, it should have been in either my makeup bag or purse, though after searching with no avail it appeared to be misplaced or lost. For those of you who are not familiar with concealer and what it is used for, it is a light color cosmetic that is applied to the face that typically blends in with the skin to “conceal”.  My concealer is specifically used to brighten the under the eye area though it can be used for blemishes, red areas, or to blur imperfections, etc.  For me, if I choose to wear makeup it is a step in my routine that I don’t like to leave out as it gives a bright and even-tone look, however there was no substitute so I shrugged it off and went about my day.

After service, when I arrived back to the place where I am staying, I was walking up the stairs when the Holy Spirit said, “No Concealer”. Then I heard the scripture verse from Luke 12, “There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known.” Luke 12:2 NIV. In greater context, for over a year the Lord has been speaking to me about judgment, kings, ruling, and war, however I have seldom released those messages and have been intentionally “flying low”. Two months ago the Lord told me I needed to start saying the harder things He shares with me as it aligns with my purpose and call.

I asked the Lord why He didn’t just tell me the scripture as opposed to having me experience the message of literally ‘going without concealer’ and He said, “Because it’s right under the eye”. It is at the door – exposure, war, judgment, separation.  In other words, we are about to have an encounter with this knowledge. The experience with the concealer came after several weeks of new warning words, as well as dreams and visions of the needed cleansing and separation that is coming to the Church. There was a two-fold message in the concealer – first I could no longer keep hidden the secrets He has shared with me when given permission to release and secondly whatever has been hiding in darkness will be made known and come to light.  I was curious to know if I actually lost the concealer, and I did find it later on a small side table that I didn’t recall placing it on. I’ve gotten used to the prophetic acts that I often will experience on behalf of the Church Body, and this was confirmation that this was of importance to the Lord.

More revelation continued to flow as I thought about specific areas I apply the concealer; in addition to my eyes I also use it around the crease of my nose, and above my top lip known as “cupid’s bow” as it gives the effect of opening up the lips. As I meditated upon what the Lord already said to me I realized it didn’t end there – He wants us to fully sense what is happening in the Body without filter (nose). He wants to reveal the false loyalty, and religious spirit (lips). Our eyes cannot see on our own body these pointed out areas; we cannot see the creases or dark circles under our eye, we cannot see the folds beside our nose, and we cannot see our lips. The Lord is wanting us to see what is in “the fold” and “under the surface” so to speak in His Body.  Luke 12:1 is the opening scripture that precedes Nothing Concealed and gives warning of the leaven of the Pharisees. “In the meanwhile, when so many thousands of the people had gathered that they were trampling on one another, Jesus commenced by saying primarily to His disciples, Be on your guard against the leaven (ferment) of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy [producing unrest and violent agitation].” As I was writing this out I felt the Holy Spirit prompt me to look up the word leaven in the Greek. Leaven is defined in HELPS Word-studies (figuratively) as the spreading influence of what is typically concealed, generally a symbol of the spreading nature of evil. Then Jesus says, “Nothing is [so closely] covered up that it will not be revealed, or hidden that it will not be known. Whatever you have spoken in the darkness shall be heard and listened to in the light, and what you have whispered in [people’s] ears and behind closed doors will be proclaimed upon the housetops.” Luke 12:2-3 AMPC

Prior to the concealer experience on Wednesday, July 6, I had another alarming dream of an unclean spirit trying to reproduce itself and directionally drive the body of Christ through seduction. Visually, a very tall man was sitting Indian style with his posture straight, his wife also very tall was also sitting Indian style to the left of him. This woman’s limbs coiled around the husband in an unnatural humanly possible way so that she was partly intertwined with him, though in the rite of unity. The woman’s name in the dream means “pure” and “clear”, though is also from the Greek god of magic, meaning “torture”. The man’s name symbolizes a type of Christ and means “to save”, “God is deliverance”. The man’s head seemed to be enlarged in the dream. Ultimately, the man representing the head of the Church was influenced by sensuality unaware and was subdued by a false peace, yielding his power to the desire and mind of the woman. The sensual spirit was masked under leadership, unity, purity and peace, and nearly impossible to discern based on appearances and logic.  When I was praying about the dream later in the morning that day, the Lord gave me a vision of a large white-head on the face that was ready to “pop”. It was quite deceptive because it was not red and irritated on the surface, though hiding underneath was the root of the acne where the build up of old oils and infection was trapped within the clogged pore. When I saw the vision it was magnified very large, so that the white-head was very enlarged, like a mountain slope. The internal build up was ‘piling high’ and ready to burst forth. The Lord was also pointing out that it was white which normally means purity however He was saying the mountain was disguised as ‘being pure’. “Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, Who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, Nor sworn deceitfully.” Psalms 24:3-4 NKJV.  This “popping” of the underlying infection will expose idolatry and deceit within with body.

This new wave of cleansing is so close that it is very difficult to see. This is why the five-fold leadership must pay attention with the eyes of their spirit. You will miss it if you only see what you see within your own ability, we must be willing to humble ourselves and listen to the Spirit and whom He may be speaking through to expose the deeper need of cleansing.  Our highest spiritual goal is to be transformed into the image of Jesus, and as we prepare for His return we purify ourselves to look like Him – the pure, spotless, unblemished Lamb of God. The unclean spirit is among the leadership and/or their influencers at different levels through out the global body. Often times when we are closer to the situation or persons either through position or familiarity, it can make the coming exposure, needed cleansing and separation hard to detect.  Seducing spirits cause religion to reproduce, as they are entangled and have become one. The process of becoming untwined and unyoked will more than likely be very painful though necessary.  This is a time when the Lord wants us to see the imperfections, darkness, and blemishes – not to be critical and judgmental (even though His judgment is coming) though rather as protection, an opportunity for repentance, and a severing for true sustainable healthy growth.

I asked the Lord why He spoke to me while going up the stairs coming back after church that Sunday. Why then? Why there? This is what He showed me, I am staying in a temporary and transitional place and the address numbers literally mean “complete new beginning”. I was just about to enter the door where those numbers are visibly located, and symbolically the new era of the Church and many in the global body have crossed over the Jordan though have not yet occupied their promised land. We have been traversing in the new land and have been given keys to doors however we have not completely taken residence in Canaan. We are not yet homeowners in the promised land. Some are in the process of building new homes, though the structures are not yet finished. Joshua’s conquest of Canaan was a seven year battle, made up of several other battles once they crossed the Jordan. Some of these battles were won by “suddenlies” by the Lord’s mighty power, but none were won without obedience to His instruction.

The Lord knows what we can handle and He sees the larger picture at hand. This is why cleansing and deliverance often happen in stages. “I will not drive them out from before you in one year, lest the land become desolate [for lack of attention] and the wild beasts multiply against you. Little by little I will drive them out from before you, until you have increased and are numerous enough to take possession of the land.” Exodus 23:29-30 AMPC. As the Bride matures and completely separates from Egypt through sanctification, so shall she inherit her promises and land [short exhortation on that here https://ablazeglobalproductions.com/2021/06/25/rolling-away-egypt/ ].

This is the one of the most critical junctures of history, especially for the Church. The Lord is sovereign and yet our obedience and diligence toward His instructions, voice and ways has never been more important to inherit our complete new beginning. This is about the Lamb receiving His reward, His Bride, and when allow the unclean spirit a home in the new building / era we are not cleaning and purifying the Bride we are defiling her! For the union of the Son and His Bride, God’s love not only confronts, it cuts. When Jesus was on earth He said, “Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword.” Matthew 10:34 NKJV. And in the Passion Translation, “Perhaps you think I’ve come to spread peace and calm over the earth—but my coming will bring conflict and division, not peace.” Matthew 10:34 TPT.  In the footnotes of The Passion Translation it is written that the Aramaic word harba can mean either “sword” or “war” and in the Greek either term signifies division.

The impending war and judgment we are facing will surface in our natural earth realm, however there is no doubt the war is first waged within the mind of man. Similarly the great judgement is a divide of the mind; a deciding for or against the beliefs that have taken root in the heart of man. “For the word of God is living and active and full of power [making it operative, energizing, and effective]. It is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating as far as the division of the soul and spirit [the completeness of a person], and of both joints and marrow [the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and judging the very thoughts and intentions of the heart. And not a creature exists that is concealed from His sight, but all things are open and exposed, and revealed to the eyes of Him with whom we have to give account.” Hebrews 4:12-13 AMP.

It was the Pharisees that made for themselves fail-able kingdoms on earth that decay, their self importance building towers high,“Rightly did Isaiah prophesy about you hypocrites (play-actors, pretenders), as it is written [in Scripture], ‘These people honor Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me. They worship Me in vain [their worship is meaningless and worthless, a pretense], Teaching the precepts of men as doctrines [giving their traditions equal weight with the Scriptures].’” Mark 7:6-7 AMP. This religious spirit would be responsible for our slain Bridegroom King, it lay with the unclean spirit that would seduce and lead astray the loyalty of hearts, blinding men from the hope of an eternity with our risen Lord. Holy Spirit lead us to the measuring rod, may we build for You with purity of mind, heart, action and speech; help us to love the discipline of the Father as we build an unshakable Kingdom for Your throne, cleanse and sanctify us that we may share in the beauty of Your holiness. Make us holy because you are Holy, we want to look like you and behold Your form.

“For there is nothing hidden that will not become evident, nor anything secret that will not be known and come out into the open. So be careful how you listen; for whoever has [a teachable heart], to him more [understanding] will be given; and whoever does not have [a longing for truth], even what he thinks he has will be taken away from him.”” Luke 8:17-18 AMP

IMMOVABLE

In my dream this morning someone in the church was “profiling” me. I believe this is a subject that will speak to many right now. ‘The meaning of PROFILING is the act or process of extrapolating information about a person based on known traits or tendencies; specifically : the act of suspecting or targeting a person on the basis of observed characteristics or behavior.’

There was a video posted with me with some of my body exposed, it was shown from the profile however I knew this wasn’t even my body though it was made to look like me. They were falsely trying to expose and identify me in an untruthful light. Then I went to church (it was a church I didn’t recognize, symbolic) and my reserved seat was taken, it was reserved because I was part of a team on platform. The chairs didn’t flow, you could visibly see chairs had been removed and people who weren’t supposed to sitting in them had taken them, and there were empty spaces in the rows for more chairs.

Similar to this dream, not that long ago the Holy Spirit spoke to me and confirmed with scripture that there were false accusations circulating about me. I knew at least one person was someone close to me. But I actually said, Lord I don’t even want to know.

I believe so many are so close to walking in destiny that these suspicions, accusations and assaults are the last giant trying to take you out before you possess your promise. Don’t fall into the trap! Offense will in turn have you operating in the same suspicion.

This is the test – in the natural love and bless your enemy. In the Spirit, raise your hand and move on. Go low. Release blessing. Watch your words. This is the Leviathan that contorts and twists words to bring division and destruction. (I recently wrote in, “Clean Your House” regarding snakes in the Church). “But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.” Matthew 5:44-45

Maybe it looks like your seat is taken, perhaps it looks like there is no room for you. In the dream I had to fulfill my assignment so I went to the stage anyway, just after discovering this video. In the dream I said to someone, I have to take this down (video). A video, movie, or a clip – it’s something you watch ‘play out’. Don’t become an actor in the enemies theater. Stay focused on your assignment. Do not defend yourself. However in the Spirit, the assault can be dismantled, and the best way is to humble oneself and stay close to the Lord. “The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:14.

I had a feeling more seats would be brought in to the sanctuary, though I could not wait, I had to take my position even though there was a slight hesitation because of the video. This is your greatest challenge right now, do not let the appearance of things keep you from fulfilling your assignment! Be assured, the Lord Himself will place you in your seat. And maybe you aren’t supposed to be sitting – perhaps it’s time to stand. Immovable. Unshakable.

A BURNING HEART SETS THE WORLD ON FIRE

A New Word Of Encouragement To The Global Church Before Pentecost

Amy Sutherland 4.22.22

Clear vision and knowing your assignment make all the difference when given a weighty commission, yet what is essential for completion especially for longer-term and far-reaching assignments is a passionate heart. It is the fire surrounded by purpose that causes one to blaze ahead to the finish line. In the life of every believer is the core mission statement named The Great Commission, and we were given the Holy Spirit to help us fulfill it. In the Gospel of Matthew the final words recorded by Jesus are the first introduction to this commission;“Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed and made appointment with them. And when they saw Him, they fell down and worshiped Him; but some doubted. Jesus approached and, breaking the silence, said to them, All authority (all power of rule) in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Go then and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you, and behold, I am with you all the days (perpetually, uniformly, and on every occasion), to the [very] close and consummation of the age. Amen (so let it be).” Matthew 28:16-20. In the Gospel of Mark we have a even more detailed account of the commission, “Later, Jesus appeared to the eleven [disciples] themselves as they were reclining at the table; and He called them to account for their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they had not believed those who had seen Him after He had risen [from death]. And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. He who has believed [in Me] and has been baptized will be saved [from the penalty of God’s wrath and judgment]; but he who has not believed will be condemned. These signs will accompany those who have believed: in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up serpents, and if they drink anything deadly, it will not hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will get well.” So then, when the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, He was taken up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God. And they went out and preached everywhere, while the Lord was working with them and confirming the word by the signs that followed.]” Mark 16:14-20.

I believe if we are honest, many Christians leave the vision of The Great Commission up to Evangelists, their Pastors, other five-fold or even other leaders. They may wonder how can my life reach the world? Yet, truthfully, the vision to fulfill this command can seem overwhelming to anyone regardless of title. These leaders may be wondering the same, how do I lead others in reaching the world? In 2009 and 2010 I had the opportunity to spend six months in Africa, the first three months I was attending Iris Harvest School of Missions in Mozambique, serving with Heidi Baker’s ministry. I had so much anticipation in going to the school, I desired to go grow deeper in my relationship with the Lord, though also knowing the ministry operated in miracles, signs and wonders I could not help but dream about what I would experience! I did see healing, I did see miracles, but most experiences did not happen as I imagined – not bad, just different. The Lord spoke to me very clearly while I was there and one word that has marked me since was, “Amy, the greatest miracle is the miracle of the transformed heart”. Above Kingdom affairs and the supernatural life, He was setting things in order that are connected to the center of my calling. And really, this is for every believer, as the first commandment gives mention of this divine order, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and mind and with all your soul and with all your strength [your entire being].” Deuteronomy 6:5. We need wholeness of heart to love well; to love God, then ourselves, our family, and our neighbors. Physical healing is beautiful, biblical and one hundred percent what the Lord longs to give us, but it does not usurp the healing of the heart. What good is a physical healing if the heart from which we live is unwhole? “Keep and guard your heart with all vigilance and above all that you guard, for out of it flow the springs of life.” Proverbs 4:23. One of Mama Heidi’s main messages was “stopping for the one”; the simplicity of the Gospel is loving the one in front of you. I loved that the ministry was so free that it encouraged us to be missionaries wherever the Holy Spirit was leading us; from the homemaker to the business CEO and all in between we are the missionary in the field wherever the Lord has called us – inside the walls of the Church or outside, whether on foreign or domestic soil. While I had already held fast to this truth in my heart, it was liberating to be part of a ministry that empowered the Body in this way.

Before Jesus commissioned the disciples, He addressed their vision which was also connected to their hearts. Matthew pens some of the disciples doubted it was Jesus they were seeing, while Mark pens the disciples would give account (were rebuked) for their unbelief and hardness of heart because they did not believe those who had seen Jesus after He had risen from death. Unbelief is rooted in mistrust and is an issue of the heart, the eyes were the last senses to follow what their hearts were speaking. “The good person out of the good treasure of his heart produces good, and the evil person out fo the evil of his heart produces evil, for out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.” Luke 6:45. Before the disciples could be used as the first mouthpieces for the foundational building of His Church and the fulfilling of the commission, Jesus had to remind them who they were. These disciples knew the Scriptures, they had been with the Word Himself! Hundreds of years prior Wisdom wrote, “For as he thinks in his heart, so is he.” Proverbs 23:7, and so He dealt with the mind that was causing the seed of doubt. In Greek the word for disciple is mathētḗs, a learner, disciple, pupil and comes from math – “the mental effort to think something through”. HELPS word study defines mathēteúō, “disciple” – to disciple, i.e. helping someone to progressively learn the Word of God to become a matured, growing disciple (literally, “a learner,” a true Christ-follower); to train (develop) in the truths of Scripture and the lifestyle required, i.e. helping a believer learn to be a disciple of Christ in belief and practice.” Before the disciples could be commissioned into practice, they had to believe!

The Great Commission was given after the crucifixion and Jesus understood the disciples were grieving, brokenhearted, and were trying to make sense of the living history they had just been a part of. They had no grid except that Jesus had told them these things would transpire, they were literally experiencing earth shaking events that had never happened before (or since). How beautiful we see the compassion, truth, and reassurance of the Lord at work even in the questioning. Jesus appeared to Mary Magdalene after she returned to the tomb a second time and in her weeping, in her grief He came and said, “Woman, why are you crying? For whom are you looking?” and at the sound of her name “Mary!”, she turned and said, “Rabboni!” (John 20:13-16). Mary heard a name to Name recognition in her Beloved’s Voice, formed from her pure and intimate devotion. “The sheep that are My own hear My voice and listen to Me; I know them, and they follow Me.” John 10:27. Because Jesus defeated death and fulfilled the prophecy, He could now be seen as her Creator, “But now, this is what the Lord, your Creator says, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel, “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you [from captivity]; I have called you by name; you are Mine!” Isaiah 43:1.

As only Jesus can do, He watches over His Word to perform it, being the very fulfillment of the Spirit of Prophecy, He testifies of Himself again on the road to Emmaus on the same day of the resurrection in an appearance to two of His disciples. Concealing His identity, He first caused them to become still to acknowledge the condition of their hearts. “And then, that very day two of them were going to a village called Emmaus, which was about seven miles from Jerusalem. And they were talking with each other about all these things which had taken place. While they were talking and discussing it, Jesus Himself came up and began walking with them. But their eyes were [miraculously] prevented from recognizing Him. Then Jesus asked them, “What are you discussing with one another as you walk along?” And they stood still, looking brokenhearted.” Luke 24:13-17. I love the demonstration of Scripture found in this passage that Jesus was revealing through His presence; “He heals the brokenhearted And binds up their wounds [healing their pain and comforting their sorrow].” Psalms 147:3,“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” Psalms 34:18, ““Be still and know (recognize, understand) that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations! I will be exalted in the earth.”” Psalms 46:10.

As the Lord continued to walk and talk with them, still concealed, He did for them what they could not do for themselves; He opened their minds to understand and process what had just happened. “And [Jesus] said to them, O foolish ones [sluggish in mind, dull of perception] and slow of heart to believe (adhere to and trust in and rely on) everything that the prophets have spoken! Was it not necessary and essentially fitting that the Christ (the Messiah) should suffer all these things before entering into His glory (His majesty and splendor)? Then beginning with Moses and [throughout] all the Prophets, He went on explaining and interpreting to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning and referring to Himself.” Luke 24:25-27. The Lord Jesus in His patience and kindness came where they were lacking – in their minds. Again in the Greek, a disciple derives its meaning from math, “mental effort to think something through,” and the circumstances and the evidence weren’t adding up yet for the disciples so Jesus provided the answers and helped them “solve the equation”. What happens next causes my heart to collapse in longing every time I read the passage. “Then they approached the village where they were going, and He acted as if He were going farther. But they urged Him [not to go on], saying, “Stay with us, because it is almost evening, and the day has just about ended.” So He went inside to stay with them. And it happened that as He reclined at the table with them, He took the bread and blessed it, and breaking it, He began giving it to them. Then their eyes were [suddenly] opened [by God] and they [clearly] recognized Him; and He vanished from their sight. They said to one another, “Were not our hearts burning within us while He was talking with us on the road and opening the Scriptures to us?”” Luke 24:28-32. A burning heart is the answer to life’s equation. You cannot give to someone else that which you do not have. Knowing and loving God, and loving others is the commission. This love reaches beyond death, and its flames cannot be quenched. Passion for God is the fuel needed to finish our race, but there is one more step in solving the equation…

There are many more accounts of the visitations of the Resurrected Christ to His disciples that affirmed the reality of His glorified body and revitalized their hearts in belief (John 20:30,31). However, there was one last command that Jesus gave before the disciples were to be released into their missions; they were to wait for the baptism and empowerment of the Holy Spirit. “Until the day when He ascended, after He through the Holy Spirit had instructed and commanded the apostles (special messengers) whom He had chosen. To them also He showed Himself alive after His passion (His suffering in the garden and on the cross) by [a series of] many convincing demonstrations [unquestionable evidences and infallible proofs], appearing to them during forty days and talking [to them] about the things of the kingdom of God. And while being in their company and eating with them, He commanded them not to leave Jerusalem but to wait for what the Father had promised, Of which [He said] you have heard Me speak. [John 14:16, 26; 15:26.] For John baptized with water, but not many days from now you shall be baptized with (placed in, introduced into) the Holy Spirit.” Acts 1:2-5

Once again in the Lord’s compassion and mercy He remembers the weakness of our frame and provides the fuel. We yield, we wait upon Him, and our strength is renewed. It is quite impossible to refuel a moving vehicle. The car must come to a complete stop with the engine shut off to safely refuel. As the disciples obeyed the instructions to wait in Jerusalem, 40 days later just as Jesus promised the Holy Spirit came. “When the day of Pentecost had come, they were all together in one place, and suddenly a sound came from heaven like a rushing violent wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. There appeared to them tongues resembling fire, which were being distributed [among them], and they rested on each one of them [as each person received the Holy Spirit]. And they were all filled [that is, diffused throughout their being] with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues (different languages), as the Spirit was giving them the ability to speak out [clearly and appropriately].” Acts 2:1-4. The number forty represents testing, growth, and completion. Jesus left the wilderness after forty days of testing and was filled with power, at forty weeks a baby is ready to be born, and we are familiar with the Israelites wandering for forty years and the unbelief in the promise that kept them in the cycle. I believe forty is a number of choice; we can wander in disbelief or wonder in holy awe. Today I pray as you read this that the Lord would restore childlike faith in your hearts, I pray you would come out of agreement with unbelief and cease wandering and begin to wonder at the signs of the Lord once more. I release healing to bind up any broken-heartedness, and I declare you are released from your captivity. I pray your purpose would be clear, and vision would be restored. I pray you would be still and know that He is God, and in the stillness allow Him to complete the work He has begun in you. I pray for a fresh baptism of the Holy Spirit that would reignite first love. May your life be forever changed as you are renewed and refreshed to finish your race well. Gaze upon and behold the One in front of you, and cultivate devout affection for His Presence. We need the Holy Spirit to love Jesus, and it is He that enables to love the ones assigned around us and to us. Holy fire grip our hearts once more! Be blessed in your refueling and commissioning and may your burning heart set the world on fire!

“As for us, we have all of these great witnesses who encircle us like clouds. So we must let go of every wound that has pierced us and the sin we so easily fall into. Then we will be able to run life’s marathon race with passion and determination, for the path has been already marked out before us. We look away from the natural realm and we focus our attention and expectation onto Jesus who birthed faith within us and who leads us forward into faith’s perfection. His example is this: Because his heart was focused on the joy of knowing that you would be his, he endured the agony of the cross and conquered its humiliation, and now sits exalted at the right hand of the throne of God! So consider carefully how Jesus faced such intense opposition from sinners who opposed their own souls, so that you won’t become worn down and cave in under life’s pressures.” Hebrews 12:1-3

“Fasten me upon your heart as a seal of fire forevermore. This living, consuming flame will seal you as my prisoner of love. My passion is stronger than the chains of death and the grave, all consuming as the very flashes of fire from the burning heart of God. Place this fierce, unrelenting fire over your entire being. Rivers of pain and persecution will never extinguish this flame. Endless floods will be unable to quench this raging fire that burns within you. Everything will be consumed. It will stop at nothing as you yield everything to this furious fire until it won’t even seem to you like a sacrifice anymore.” Song of Songs 8:6-7
