SUBMERGED

“Now am I trying to win the favor of men, or of God? Do I seek to please men? If I were still seeking popularity with men, I should not be a bond servant of Christ (the Messiah).” Galatians 1:10 AMPC

What purpose has the test, the trial, the fast, the sacrifice, the sufferings if one does not emerge taking on a greater likeness of Christ?

If I am washed and made clean by the Word, may I find my life submerged in the water of the Holy Spirit.

In the beginning the Holy Spirit was hovering and brooding over the face of the waters, and while all the Persons of the Godhead are essential for Birth, the Holy Spirit is the vital element of water; vital in the birth of creation, vital in the birth of our Savior, vital in the rebirth of mankind through baptism, and vital in the continuous ‘births’, or reformations that cause us to look more like Christ. The Holy Spirit in unity with the Father and the Son formed the seas (Genesis 1:2, 6-8), a symbol for the womb, a spiritual place where we are formed and reformed, refined, cleansed and preserved.

Perhaps the sea will cease to exist after the first earth and first heaven pass away because the Lord’s Bride is now complete and One with Him. What need is there for a sea of forgetfulness of sin when I become in finality washed and pure for my Lord? What need is there for salt to burn my eyes when then I shall fully see? What need is there for salts agitation after I have entered through the gate of Pearl? What need is there for cleansing when I am spotless and fully mature?

Until then I choose submersion. Holy Spirit hold me here. Here You uplift me formless into the life of Christ where I walk on the waters in communion with Him; this is my transformation. Here in submersion you keep me safe in Your Spirit, for if I depart I become nothing but a pillar of salt without You.

If we depart from the waters we have divided hearts like the heart of Lot’s wife, who when looked backward toward her homeland in Sodom and Gomorrah (a symbol of sin and abomination) became a pillar of salt when the Spirit left her (Genesis 19:26). For it is the Holy Spirit who leads and guides us into all Truth, and Truth is the person of Jesus.

May we all humbly pray and cry out as David, “take not Thy Holy Spirit from me!” Holy Spirit I come “under” You. Keep me submerged in Your holy waters until I emerge like Christ, again and again, may I go under when You pull me under and may arise when You say walk. Apart from You, I am nothing, keep me close lest I become a symbol of earth’s empty and void vanity – a worthless pillar of tasteless salt. Help me to love, obey, and fear You, and may I yield until the breath of Christ is entirely mine. Lead me on the waters Holy Spirit to the resting place of the Ark. As You continue to form me, being made fully alive in Christ by Your Spirit, You lead me to the dwelling place, our forever Home where in Holy Union there is no separation; I in You and You in me… the mysteries of the sanctified, created in the depths of the womb.

“Where could I go from Your Spirit? Or where could I flee from Your presence? If I ascend up into heaven, You are there; if I make my bed in Sheol (the place of the dead), behold, You are there. [Rom. 11:33.] If I take the wings of the morning or dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, Even there shall Your hand lead me, and Your right hand shall hold me. My frame was not hidden from You when I was being formed in secret [and] intricately and curiously wrought [as if embroidered with various colors] in the depths of the earth [a region of darkness and mystery]. Your eyes saw my unformed substance, and in Your book all the days [of my life] were written before ever they took shape, when as yet there was none of them.” Psalm 139:7-10, 15-16 AMPC

“Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her, So that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the Word, That He might present the church to Himself in glorious splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such things [that she might be holy and faultless].”Ephesians 5:25-27 AMPC

“For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit,” I Peter 3:18 NKJV

“Teach me Your way, O Lord, that I may walk and live in Your truth; direct and unite my heart [solely, reverently] to fear and honor Your name. [Ps. 5:11; 69:36.] I will confess and praise You, O Lord my God, with my whole (united) heart; and I will glorify Your name forevermore.” Psalm 86:11-12 AMPC

“For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God. But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His. And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.” Romans 8:5-11 NKJV

“Then in a vision I saw a new heaven and a new earth. The first heaven and earth had passed away, and the sea no longer existed. I saw the Holy City, the New Jerusalem, descending out of the heavenly realm from the presence of God, like a pleasing bride that had been prepared for her husband, adorned for her wedding. And I heard a thunderous voice from the throne, saying: “Look! God’s tabernacle is with human beings. And from now on he will tabernacle with them as their God. Now God himself will have his home with them— ‘God-with-them’ will be their God! He will wipe away every tear from their eyes and eliminate death entirely. No one will mourn or weep any longer. The pain of wounds will no longer exist, for the old order has ceased.”” Revelation 21:1-4 TPT

Reformation Day

“The Church may go through her dark ages, but Christ is with her in the midnight.” ~ Charles Spurgeon

Etymology of Reformation

late 14c., reformacioun, “restoration, re-establishment;” early 15c., “improvement, alteration for the better,” from Old French reformacion and directly from Latin reformationem (nominative reformatio), noun of action from past-participle stem of reformare “to form again, change, transform, alter,” from re- “again” (see re-) + formare “to form” (see form (n.)).

With capital R-, in reference to the great 16c. European religious revolution, it is attested by 1540s, borrowed from Luther. The movement began as a bid to “reform” doctrines and practices of the Church of Rome.

I think perhaps some of the greatest work of reformation is really the work of transformation which begins in our hearts. As I’ve shared many times, the Lord spoke to me in Africa in 2009, “The greatest miracle, is the miracle of a transformed heart”. I yield to Your flames Lord, I yield to Your faithful hands. Reform, transform, renew, restore my heart God. Make me new for you! With a right heart we are positioned and changed to lead others unto reform. However, it always begins within, in the deep place of intimacy and transparency before the Lord.

“I know that you delight to set your truth deep in my spirit. So come into the hidden places of my heart and teach me wisdom. Purify my conscience! Make this leper clean again! Wash me in your love until I am pure in heart. Satisfy me in your sweetness, and my song of joy will return. The places you have crushed within me will rejoice in your healing touch. Hide my sins from your face; erase all my guilt by your saving grace. Keep creating in me a clean heart. Fill me with pure thoughts and holy desires, ready to please you. May you never reject me! May you never take from me your sacred Spirit! Let my passion for life be restored, tasting joy in every breakthrough you bring to me. Hold me close to you with a willing spirit that obeys whatever you say. Then I can show other guilty ones how loving and merciful you are. They will find their way back home to you, knowing that you will forgive them. O God, my saving God, deliver me fully from every sin, even the sin that brought bloodguilt. Then my heart will once again be thrilled to sing the passionate songs of joy and deliverance! Lord God, unlock my heart, unlock my lips, and I will overcome with my joyous praise! For the source of your pleasure is not in my performance or the sacrifices I might offer to you. The fountain of your pleasure is found in the sacrifice of my shattered heart before you. You will not despise my tenderness as I bow down humbly at your feet. Because you favor Zion, do what is good for her. Be the protecting wall around Jerusalem. And when we are fully restored, you will rejoice and take delight in every offering of our lives as we bring our sacrifices of righteousness before you in love!”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭51‬:‭6‬-‭19‬ ‭TPT‬‬

“Behold, You desire truth in the inner being; make me therefore to know wisdom in my inmost heart. Purify me with hyssop, and I shall be clean [ceremonially]; wash me, and I shall [in reality] be whiter than snow. Make me to hear joy and gladness and be satisfied; let the bones which You have broken rejoice. Hide Your face from my sins and blot out all my guilt and iniquities. Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right, persevering, and steadfast spirit within me. Cast me not away from Your presence and take not Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation and uphold me with a willing spirit. Then will I teach transgressors Your ways, and sinners shall be converted and return to You. Deliver me from bloodguiltiness and death, O God, the God of my salvation, and my tongue shall sing aloud of Your righteousness (Your rightness and Your justice). O Lord, open my lips, and my mouth shall show forth Your praise. For You delight not in sacrifice, or else would I give it; You find no pleasure in burnt offering. [I Sam. 15:22.] My sacrifice [the sacrifice acceptable] to God is a broken spirit; a broken and a contrite heart [broken down with sorrow for sin and humbly and thoroughly penitent], such, O God, You will not despise. Do good in Your good pleasure to Zion; rebuild the walls of Jerusalem. Then will You delight in the sacrifices of righteousness, justice, and right, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering; then bullocks will be offered upon Your altar.”

THE FAVORED

If we are a people who cry out, “take not Thy Holy Spirit from me”, if we should be a people after the Lord’s own heart, then we are a people who willingly take instruction, correction and rebuke. For it is the Holy Spirit who corrects, leads and guides us into all Truth. The Holy Spirit ushers us to Jesus, and even unto a rod for rebuke.

Therefore, do not confuse the fruit or attribute of being loving when it is only with those who you like or are friends with. Servant leadership isn’t about your kingdom, it’s about the Lord’s Kingdom.

Then why are so many who are among the deligated and favored the ones who consistently give their eyes and ears to only those who are within their own groups and cliques? You are not Jesus to those around you, you are a reflection of self or the image you hope others will see. Some test you with their own tricks and agendas under a ‘covering’ of the Holy Spirit, ultimately using Him and so become deceived themselves. And yet praise is given and the actions and attitudes are affirmed, grounding the dysfunctional cycle. At the core it’s religious and pharisaical. All the while a false sense of unity is like wool over the eye, and you can not see that you are divided by the fear of man and it is delaying the plan of the Lord. How quickly we all forget we are The Body of the Lord. And yet whether favored or unfavored, maturity is required and even demanded for the narrow road we must go to carry our cross, and plead, ‘lead us Lord’!

Oh stubborn man, a house divided can not stand!

Forgive us Jesus, for we have sinned against you.

Church. We are failing. Big time.
It all needs to fall apart.

Let if fall

Let it crumble

Let the Nehemiah’s and Hananiah’s arise and lead and restore in Heaven’s wisdom and Fear of the Lord.

Nehemiah means “Yah comforts” in Hebrew and Hananiah means “Yah has favored” in Hebrew. Soon the tables will turn, and the Lord will set His appointed men in command by His Command; those who will bring comfort to Him, for they are men after His own heart and those who Fear His Holy Name.

The Lord God is the Judge, and His very gavel will break apart and shatter all the works of man. May we fear His Holy Name again and rebuild upon the Chief Cornerstone and the spiritual plain of our “forefathers of the faith”.

“But He, well aware of their thoughts and purpose, said to them, “Every kingdom divided against itself is doomed to destruction; and a house divided against itself falls.” ‭‭Luke‬ ‭11‬:‭17‬ ‭AMP‬‬

“And if a house is divided (split into factions and rebelling) against itself, that house will not be able to last.” ‭‭Mark‬ ‭3‬:‭25‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

“The words of Nehemiah son of Hacaliah: Now it happened in the month of Chislev, in the twentieth year [of the Persian king], as I was in the capitol of Susa, Hanani, one of my brothers, and some men from Judah came; and I asked them about the surviving Jews who had escaped and survived the captivity, and about Jerusalem. They said to me, “The remnant there in the province who survived the captivity are in great distress and reproach; the wall of Jerusalem is broken down and its [fortified] gates have been burned (destroyed) by fire.” Now it came about when I heard these words, I sat down and wept and mourned for days; and I was fasting and praying [constantly] before the God of heaven. And I said, “Please, O Lord God of heaven, the great and awesome God, who keeps the covenant and lovingkindness for those who love Him and keep His commandments, please let Your ear be attentive and Your eyes open to hear the prayer of Your servant which I am praying before You, day and night, on behalf of Your servants, the sons (descendants) of Israel (Jacob), confessing the sins of the sons of Israel which we have committed against You; I and my father’s house have sinned. We have acted very corruptly against You and have not kept the commandments, nor the statutes, nor the ordinances which You commanded Your servant Moses. Please remember the word which You commanded Your servant Moses, saying, ‘If you are unfaithful and violate your obligations to Me I will scatter you [abroad] among the peoples; but if you return to Me and keep My commandments and do them, though those of you who have been scattered are in the most remote part of the heavens, I will gather them from there and will bring them to the place where I have chosen for My Name to dwell.’ Now they are Your servants and Your people whom You have redeemed by Your great power and by Your strong hand. Please, O Lord, let Your ear be attentive to the prayer of Your servant and the prayer of Your servants who delight to [reverently] fear Your Name [Your essence, Your nature, Your attributes, with awe]; and make Your servant successful this day and grant him compassion in the sight of this man [the king].” For I was cupbearer to the king [of Persia].” ‭‭Nehemiah‬ ‭1‬:‭1‬-‭11‬ ‭AMP‬‬

“In the month of Nisan, in the twentieth year of King Artaxerxes, when wine was placed before him, I took the wine and gave it to the king. Now I had not [previously] been sad in his presence. So the king said to me, “Why do you look sad when you are not sick? This is nothing but sadness of heart.” Then I was very frightened, and I said to the king, “Let the king live forever. Why should my face not be sad when the city, the place of my fathers’ tombs, lies desolate and its gates have been consumed by fire?” The king said to me, “What do you request?” So I prayed to the God of heaven. I said to the king, “If it pleases the king, and if your servant has found favor in your presence, [I ask] that you send me to Judah, to the city of my fathers’ tombs, so that I may rebuild it.”” ‭‭Nehemiah‬ ‭2‬:‭1‬-‭5‬ ‭AMP‬‬

“Now when the wall had been rebuilt and I had set up the doors, and the gatekeepers, singers, and Levites had been appointed, I put my brother Hanani, with Hananiah the commander of the fortress, in charge of Jerusalem, for Hananiah was a more faithful and God-fearing man than many [of the others].” Nehemiah‬ ‭7‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ AMP

“The [reverent] fear of the Lord [that is, worshiping Him and regarding Him as truly awesome] is the beginning and the preeminent part of wisdom [its starting point and its essence], And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding and spiritual insight.”‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭9‬:‭10‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Revealing Of The Heart

Revealing Of The Heart

The Lord will protect the house of David. In the natural Saul was David’s elder, however you can be a David in the spirit and be older than Saul in the natural, and likewise you can be a Saul in the spirit and be younger than a David (and of course vice versa). The New Age or era isn’t dependent on age, it is dependent on heart.

There has been gross doting over looks, ability, and performance while forsaking wisdom, character, and purity of heart in the House of God.

We know this; prophets have been hammering the message especially for the last few years. But why do we continue to seemingly overlook and cover sin in the Body – and while we are all kings and priests in the new covenant, I must especially address those on platform when in essence they are serving compromise instead of serving at the feet of Jesus. Being devoted to Christ in this manner includes your lifestyle on and off platform, for character reaches far beyond speech or the front one gives for appearance. While we are all on the potter’s wheel, there’s a higher accountability for visibility; those who serve and minister to the Lord in leadership, worship, five-fold etc. We are supposed to be literally cut from a different cloth and even ironically our clothing does not reflect such a mandate! Reveal the Glory of God not “the light” of your skin. Reveal the cross that leads others AWAY from sin, reveal the Lamb who’s blood so precious poured out. Reveal Heaven’s mysteries rather than hidden codes that grant access to inner circles. Reveal the Kingdom of Heaven at hand that opposes the kingdom(s) of man.

Heart issues are being exposed. There is no where to hide, on the alter is where we must all go, bow low, and die.

While we are asked to cover with love and grace, and even speak those things that be not as though they were – love still must perfect it’s work in our hearts. No wishful or hopeful thinking can suffice, not even prophecy alone can change a heart – there must be a yielding to the work of the Spirit. Does the prophecy make a man’s heart mature, or is the heart whom finds his life in the Vine who bears mature fruit?

I am grieved, saddened and perplexed. When will the priests and levites purify themselves? When will they yield? How many warnings before we cut off mixture in the House of God? Mercy’s extravagant price undervalued by the sin our Lord abhors, and thanks be unto to Him mercies shall triumph, but for how long will we remain tolerant? How long will justice and truth stay silent?

Are we not to praise those who fear the Lord? The woman, or ‘Bride of Christ’ who fears the Lord is to be praised. We continue to praise those who do not fear the Lord in action.

You may name me religious but the Lord calls it righteous.

I understand that man looks at the outward appearance and the Lord is looking at the heart. Read it again. The Lord is looking at the heart. The Lord is looking at the heart. There is a revealing, and it is what is in the heart. Look in the mirror. How we dress reveals what is in our heart. What we say reveals what is in our heart. What we do reveals what is in our heart. What we think reveals what in our heart.

Who are you, when it’s just you and your heart?

Lord, show us! What is in our heart?

It’s a matter of the heart.

David David David, may the Lord protect and preserve you. A man after God’s own heart.

May this be our prayer: Lord make me a living, burning sacrifice!

Then will I teach transgressors Your ways, and sinners shall be converted and return to You.”‭‭Psalm‬ ‭51‬:‭6‬-‭13‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

“I will praise and give thanks to You with uprightness of heart when I learn [by sanctified experiences] Your righteous judgments [Your decisions against and punishments for particular lines of thought and conduct]. I will keep Your statutes; O forsake me not utterly. How shall a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed and keeping watch [on himself] according to Your word [conforming his life to it]. With my whole heart have I sought You, inquiring for and of You and yearning for You; Oh, let me not wander or step aside [either in ignorance or willfully] from Your commandments. [II Chron. 15:15.] Your word have I laid up in my heart, that I might not sin against You. Blessed are You, O Lord; teach me Your statutes.” ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭119‬:‭7‬-‭12‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

“A time will come, however, indeed it is already here, when the true (genuine) worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth (reality); for the Father is seeking just such people as these as His worshipers. God is a Spirit (a spiritual Being) and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth (reality).” ‭‭John‬ ‭4‬:‭23‬-‭24‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

“Charm and grace are deceptive, and [superficial] beauty is vain, But a woman who fears the Lord [reverently worshiping, obeying, serving, and trusting Him with awe-filled respect], she shall be praised.” ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭31‬:‭30‬ ‭AMP‬‬

“When they had come, he looked on Eliab [the eldest son] and said, Surely the Lord’s anointed is before Him. But the Lord said to Samuel, Look not on his appearance or at the height of his stature, for I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees; for man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart. Jesse made seven of his sons pass before Samuel. And Samuel said to Jesse, The Lord has not chosen any of these. Then [he] said to Jesse, Are all your sons here? [Jesse] said, There is yet the youngest; he is tending the sheep. Samuel said to Jesse, Send for him; for we will not sit down to eat until he is here. Jesse sent and brought him. David had a healthy reddish complexion and beautiful eyes, and was fine-looking. The Lord said [to Samuel], Arise, anoint him; this is he. Then Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed David in the midst of his brothers; and the Spirit of the Lord came mightily upon David from that day forward. And Samuel arose and went to Ramah.” ‭‭1 Samuel‬ ‭16‬:‭6‬-‭7‬, ‭10‬-‭13‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

The Great Heart Expansion

I keep hearing in my spirit this week, “the great heart expansion”. Today after I was thinking upon it again, I saw in the spirit a graphic I made several months ago – I found it and realized I never posted or had written about it. I had altogether forgotten what I had written on the graphic, and to my surprise saw ‘heart expansion’, along with ‘love’, ‘nourish’, ‘steward’ and it happened to be seven months ago that it was created.

As we know, the number seven represents a completion and perfection. I believe this is symbolic as the last season has been coming to a completion, leading up until now has been a great preparation for those who have yielded for the outpouring of the new wine. There has been sifting, cleansing, pruning and dying to prepare the new wine skin. While death to self, and pruning never cease – this has been different and strategic as we are exiting once and for all the old ways and models. As we have been allowing the Lord to perfect that which concerns us, yes even in pruning and in death, we are now entering a great heart expansion phase. It has already been happening for many, though it will continue to increase.

The heart expansion is simply for Love. There is a specific trust that the these lovers have granted to the Lord, and it for His increase. He is enlarging their hearts to behold not only more of Himself, though to make room necessary to carry His love for the harvest. He is supernaturally giving love for others, for in only this regard can we truly steward the harvest.

It is very simple, though in simplicity we see the cross. You enter through simplicity and find complexity’s riches (mysteries) within. God is Love and Love is the way, and in order to find the Way we must see the cross, for there is no way without the death and resurrection of Jesus the Messiah. God so loved that He gave Jesus for us- and we too must give though we can not give what we do not have. Therefore, He is expanding our hearts to receive more of Himself, that we may GIVE more of Himself. Prepare Him room. The room is for Him, but it will contain the ingredients needed to pour out!

Sustaining an outpouring will be through Love’s seal. God’s love and He Himself can not be measured, can He run dry? Of course not! But when the Spirit seals the move, it will be sustained by oil. Oil will come from personal intimacy with the Lord, and corporately just the same the oil will flow from Jesus our High Priest to “the priests” beard like Aaron where Love’s flowing oil will unify the Body. This is the fragrance of our Bridegroom King!

While your heart is expanding you may be experiencing new grief or sorrow, and deep longing. There are a few things that are happening in this process: as the true Fear of the Lord is returning to the Church, some are for-running in intercession of the prodigal. And there are actually many prodigal’s within the Church! This is why the Fear of the Lord is also needed in this hour! In the heart expansion the Lord is sharing secret places of His heart that include His pain and anguish, His anger and judgment. We need to know this because people need to know what’s it like to not have the Lord, in the Church especially we can take this for granted. We have been under His hand of mercy, though for generations many have never experienced His wrath. The Lord rules with justice and mercy, and when we see Him rightly we will want to lead others unto Jesus who can save them from wrath! Separation from His Presence is dreadful, it is death! Another part of the move is conviction and repentance which is also why many are sensing grief right now… it’s grief and love. Grief and longing. There will more than likely be a conviction revival before sustained glory – glory will be part of the conviction but the conviction I see is under the Fear of the Lord! It’s heavy, many will experience death without dying with an understanding of the Lord’s presence like I was trying to describe – but far be it from me to tell the Lord what He is going to do! There will be heavy conviction for simply disobedience in loving God and loving others. We must long for more of Him, in the longing He fulfills us with Love. In the Love we rest and are sustained. In the personal sustainance we are then able to steward His saints “flock” and the harvest in Love. And we can only steward what we are willing to nurture. Nurturing will be a vital element to the health of the ’newly born again’ just as it is vital to a newborn in the natural.

Jesus died for people, He will return for a people! We haven’t missed it, He is so gracious to let us know by experience what it would feel like if we did… He does not want us to miss it, and this is preparation. This is why I am writing this to you! There is so much more, though I feel this is a good place to ponder for now. May we yield to the great heart expansion and prepare Him room, what a joyful celebrations await when we do!

Joy to the World, Isaac Watts 1719 🎶

Joy to the world, the Lord is come!
Let earth receive her King!
Let every heart prepare Him room,
and heav’n and nature sing,
and heav’n and nature sing,
and heav’n, and heav’n and nature sing.

2 Joy to the earth, the Savior reigns!
Let men their songs employ,
while fields and floods, rocks, hills, and plains
repeat the sounding joy,
repeat the sounding joy,
repeat, repeat the sounding joy.

3 No more let sins and sorrows grow,
nor thorns infest the ground;
He comes to make His blessings flow
far as the curse is found,
far as the curse is found,
far as, far as the curse is found.

4 He rules the world with truth and grace,
and makes the nations prove
the glories of His righteousness
and wonders of His love,
and wonders of His love,
and wonders, wonders of His love.

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.”” ‭‭John‬ ‭3‬:‭16‬-‭21‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

The Fertile Field

Yesterday a mature pine cone, fell quite suddenly and swiftly while just nearly swiping my face and landed on my right foot. I was not standing directly under the pine trees, though I was nearby. While I’m not an expert on directional ‘air travel’, it seemed quite unusual, at least to me because of my distance from the trees.

Regardless if that was a normal place for the cone to land, I decided to look up their meaning. The Cambridge Dictionary defines a pine cone as a “hard, oval fruit from a pine tree that opens and releases seeds”. I also found in my research that the cones we see are females. Mature pine cones become hard and woody and help protect the seeds inside – without the pine cone the tree can not reproduce and spread. In the human body, the pineal gland in the brain is named after the pine cone because of its shape, it controls our bodies perception of light and has long been considered the epicenter of our spirituality, our connection with God. It is also considered the biological “third eye”, perhaps the center for the lamp of the body! “The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.” Matthew‬ ‭6‬:‭22‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Symbolically I do believe the Lord is saying it is a time for the seeds of the mature sons and daughters to be released for their planting. Just as the baby “drops” right before labor, the female cone dropped. This cone landed on my right foot while I was standing up which symbolizes our righteousness, our “right standing with God”. This is another sign that it is time for the birthing of the mature sons and daughters; time for the sons of righteousness to appear and shine brightly reflecting the glory of our risen Lord.

The date of of the dropping pine cone was 9.3 which symbolizes birthing by the Spirit; nine meaning birthing and three meaning the Spirit. Today, Labor Day, falls on the date of 9.4; nine meaning birthing and four meaning complete seasons, dominion, ruling, four corners of the earth. When a baby is birthed, it comes out of darkness, mystery and hidden-ness. This is a time of revealing! “Behold, a King will reign in righteousness, And princes will rule with justice. Each [one of them] will be like a hiding place from the wind And a shelter from the storm, Like streams of water in a dry land, Like the shade of a huge rock in a parched and weary land [to those who turn to them]. Then the eyes of those who see will not be blinded, And the ears of those who hear will listen attentively. The heart (mind) of those who act impulsively will discern the truth, And the tongue of the stammerers will hurry to speak clearly.” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭32‬:‭1‬-‭4‬ ‭AMP‬‬

The pineal gland is also in control of our wake and sleep patterns. Nearly a year ago I dreamt of a baby that represents revival. In the dream the Church was not ready to safely care for her so I had to kiss her and put her to sleep. This baby in the natural will soon turn three years old. In a recent dream I was walking up to her with my father to greet her though there had been delay, and we were celebrating her birthday! Her age now matched both the spiritual and the natural after a sequence of four dreams regarding this baby over the last year.

I believe the Lord is saying it is now time for the spiritual awakening, of promise in the natural and spirit, for individuals and corporate worship, it is time for the foundations have been stripped and soon this revival baby will not only walk but will speak. May we care for and steward her well! A time of Great Awakening and Spiritual outpouring is upon us! Let any remaining seeds of the old nature die, for now you are a new creation in Christ. The old has gone the new has come, it is the now time to fully walk in this revelation. “Therefore if anyone is in Christ [that is, grafted in, joined to Him by faith in Him as Savior], he is a new creature [reborn and renewed by the Holy Spirit]; the old things [the previous moral and spiritual condition] have passed away. Behold, new things have come [because spiritual awakening brings a new life].” ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5‬:‭17‬ ‭AMP‬‬

“For once you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord; walk as children of Light [live as those who are native-born to the Light] (for the fruit [the effect, the result] of the Light consists in all goodness and righteousness and truth), trying to learn [by experience] what is pleasing to the Lord [and letting your lifestyles be examples of what is most acceptable to Him—your behavior expressing gratitude to God for your salvation].” ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭5‬:‭8‬-‭10‬ ‭AMP‬‬

“Until the Spirit is poured out upon us from on high, And the wilderness becomes a fertile field, And the fertile field is valued as a forest. Then justice will dwell in the wilderness, And righteousness will live in the fertile field. And the effect of righteousness will be peace, And the result of righteousness will be quietness and confident trust forever. Then my people will live in a peaceful surrounding, And in secure dwellings and in undisturbed resting places.” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭32‬:‭15‬-‭18‬ ‭AMP‬‬

GENESIS

There is something so unobscure about strengths and weaknesses, because we all have them. And yet something so mysterious of their merging in man and woman.

A wife is meant to be covered in and under the strength of her husband, as the husband is meant to be covered in and strengthened by the tenderness of his wife. His strength moves her heart in tender love and devotion and her tender love and devotion moves his heart in love and strength.

Equally committed
Loving strength
Tender devotion
In union the separate ribbions become entwined as one, where weakness is strengthened and it is now subject to the power of One

All that we need is found in union with Christ (whether single or married) and under the umbrella of family (Christ being the head). This is the mystery of Christ and the Church, the revealed plan symbolized through marriage and family that leads us back to Eden.

If you are looking for deep, here is your river. If you are looking for simple, here is your gospel.

Our Lord became our Savior to lead us Home, to know Him in the inner chambers of His heart. This is where the roadmaps and puzzle pieces lead, this is the dream. The framed picture of Genesis we now study as a guide to lead us to the paradise garden that once housed the most beautiful communion of a man, his wife, and God. A new portrait we will soon hang upon the wall, and until then we are dress rehearsing learning how to grow and abide in this extravagant Love demonstrated on the cross.

THIS IS YOUR GENESIS
This is how we begin again

“And out of your reverence for Christ be supportive of each other in love. For wives, this means being devoted to your husbands like you are tenderly devoted to our Lord, for the husband provides leadership for the wife, just as Christ provides leadership for his church, as the Savior and Reviver of the body. In the same way the church is devoted to Christ, let the wives be devoted to their husbands in everything. And to the husbands, you are to demonstrate love for your wives with the same tender devotion that Christ demonstrated to us, his bride. For he died for us, sacrificing himself to make us holy and pure, cleansing us through the showering of the pure water of the Word of God. All that he does in us is designed to make us a mature church for his pleasure, until we become a source of praise to him—glorious and radiant, beautiful and holy, without fault or flaw. Husbands have the obligation of loving and caring for their wives the same way they love and care for their own bodies, for to love your wife is to love your own self. No one abuses his own body, but pampers it—serving and satisfying its needs. That’s exactly what Christ does for his church! He serves and satisfies us as members of his body. For this reason a man is to leave his father and his mother and lovingly hold to his wife, since the two have become joined as one flesh. Marriage is the beautiful design of the Almighty, a great mystery of Christ and his church. So every married man should be gracious to his wife just as he is gracious to himself. And every wife should be tenderly devoted to her husband.” ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭5‬:‭21‬-‭33‬ ‭TPT‬‬

BEING GREAT FOR GOD // THE PLANS OF MAN

The father of lies will always try and find a way to undermine the beauty in whatever season you may be in. For so long I thought there was something wrong with me because I was ”hidden and unseen”, when as overused as it may sound, yes, I was being protected by the hand of the Lord. The enemy would use the very purity the Lord was protecting to say I must be impure, and that is why I was ‘cast away’. As if being “seen” was some sort of trophy or sign of God’s good will toward me. This is the lie that many of us have believed at one time or another.

It doesn’t matter how mature we are, we must always carry a broken and contrite heart before the Lord. What if “being seen” would actually lead to your fall? It did for Lucifer, and any time we think we are above falling we error greatly. It is upside down thinking to the world, though in a lifestyle of humility is true greatness discovered.

Where ever the Lord is, that is where we want to be. Cave, cavern, dirt, desert, mountain top, valley, or palace and anywhere between – we just need to be where He is! It is the Lord’s mercy to some that they are not ‘used’ the way they think they should be!

Our stocks crash so to speak because we invest in the wrong currencies – in the current spirit of the world. The water current (spirit of the age) is grossly fallable! Rip tides and undercurrents unseen that often drown the destiny in the sea of prideful promise. Remember – we are created in the Lord’s image, and the enemy jealously desires that you would look like him too. He does not play fairly and he plays for keeps – he will call you out on the waters too and have you thinking you are living your best life of faith. It is a dire truth that we can put our faith in the wrong things.

Furthermore, there is a striking rescue that occurs in the desert. “Who is this coming up from the wilderness, Leaning upon her beloved?” Song of Solomon 8:5 ~ the song of ALL songs is found here of all places in a desert! But the rest of the verse is this, “I awakened you under the apple tree. There your mother brought you forth; There she who bore you brought you forth.” This is where union is birthed, from the desert places that become orchards and vineyards by our Lord’s extravagant redeeming love. If you are not satisfied in the desert you will not be satisfied elsewhere. The greatest mark of the Lord’s favor on your life is not a word from man, not recognition, not awards, not platform, it is the glowing smear of anointing on your face – that clearly signifies you have been with Him. It is the oil in your hands. It is the speech of your lips. It is the character and integrity of your heart.

Whether inside the church or outside, it can all be a game. I’ve seen both David (purity) and Saul (jealousy) and we all have both characteristics in us, until we allow the Lord to refine it out of us. It should not be in the Church though it is because it’s in the Bible and we are imperfect people yielding ourselves to the work of the cross to look more and more like Jesus.

I can tell you of my experience from the years I spent pursuing acting; the countless hours and days and time that was wasted filling my mind memorizing lines, becoming a character I thought someone wanted me to be. It was not merely a hobby, it was my full-time job. I am not suggesting that you can not be a Christian actor or a Christian in the Arts and Entertainment Industry; but I would suggest that we take a hard look at the things we think will matter in the end, and ask the Lord if it is producing eternal fruit as it pertains to any endeavor or vocation nonetheless.

I thought I was pleasing the Lord, I had a relationship with Him all along. I was gaining my awards for Him, I was a witness, and I was missionary…. And those things may be true… but there came a time when also the Lord had to tell me this wasn’t going to give Him the most fruit – there was something more He was desiring from me. He didn’t make me leave, though I could feel He was leading me out (at least in that way). Soon after I was feeling this subtle pulling away from the industry, I’ll never forget I had been asked to audition for a now well-known Christian film. I was at the peak of my career, I was winning awards and known in the community, I was attached to future projects, I was getting the coveted direct offers; however with this audition and no matter how hard I tried, I knew the anointing left, and I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt in my spirit. You see I was using that gift for Lord for a time, but when the Ark leaves you go with it. You soar when He says soar and you die when He says die. And the true beauty is that in the Spirit, this can be simultaneous. The school of the Holy Spirit is one we never want to graduate from.

I write this to you to remind you our highest call is to love the Lord. Being or doing something great for God can actually be a distraction and deception especially without pruning (as mentioned before with Saul). If what you are doing is not yielding fruit, walk away. The Lord has actually tested me in endeavors I put my money into to see if I would commit to a system that was “paid for” or commit to and obey the Spirit – and yet I felt His leading in it. Friends! It ALL belongs to Him anyway!

The Lord continues to cleanse His house, and like me He will not force you to strip all that you have built. But mark these words, another stripping is coming, so it is with heartfelt compassion that I plead with you to be honest with yourself, “Lord is what I am planting and sowing bringing You most glory? Lord are my dreams and desires in align with Your perfect will?”.

For the Church at large, the Lord is stripping away all that is not His. There will be no rebuilding with mixture, as He is returning for a pure Bride. He is completely demolishing the old because as it is now, it does not look like what He had originally designed. He is ridding all that was built upon vanity in man’s might and own power (the lie). The Bride is in need of a new home, and the Lord is rebuilding the house on a new foundation!

The Lord gave me two scripture passages this morning with the message of pruning and prosperity for the Global Church but ultimately our personal outcome is dependent on our yielding. To America there is a warning of invasion that I tread carefully, though have received it enough I am released to say it. The Lord protects and provides for those who keep His covenant, so in this we have no fear.

“Go up within [Jerusalem’s] walls and destroy [her vines], but do not make a full and complete end. Trim away the tendrils [of her vines], for they are not the Lord’s. For the house of Israel and the house of Judah have dealt very faithlessly and treacherously against Me, says the Lord. They have lied about and denied the Lord by saying, It is not He [Who speaks through His prophets]! Evil shall not come upon us; nor shall we see war or famine. And [say they] the prophets will become wind [what they prophesy will not come to pass], and the word [of God] is not in them. Thus shall it be done to them [as they threatened would be done to us].”
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭5‬:‭10‬-‭13‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

“For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome. Then you will call upon Me, and you will come and pray to Me, and I will hear and heed you. Then you will seek Me, inquire for, and require Me [as a vital necessity] and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. [Deut. 4:29-30.]” ‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭29‬:‭11‬-‭13‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

The Lord DESIRES for us to have a hopeful final outcome! However we must yield, He will not force us. Ultimately the final outcome is our union and relationship with Him. His greatest desire is our hearts! I pray the anointing of brave obedience on all who read this! May our hearts be soft, yielded and pliable. May we “[looking away from all that will distract us and] focusing our eyes on Jesus, who is the Author and Perfecter of faith [the first incentive for our belief and the One who brings our faith to maturity], who for the joy [of accomplishing the goal] set before Him endured the cross, disregarding the shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God [revealing His deity, His authority, and the completion of His work].” ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭12‬:‭2‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Psalm 61

“O God, hear my prayer. Listen to my heart’s cry. For no matter where I am, even when I’m far from home, I will cry out to you for a father’s help. When I’m feeble and overwhelmed by life, guide me into your glory, where I am safe and sheltered. Lord, you are a paradise of protection to me. You lift me high above the fray. None of my foes can touch me when I’m held firmly in your wraparound presence! Keep me in this glory. Let me live continually under your splendor-shadow, hiding my life in you forever. Pause in his presence You have heard my sweet resolutions to love and serve you, for I am your beloved. And you have given me an inheritance of rich treasures, which you give to all your devoted lovers. You treat me like a king, giving me a full and abundant life, years and years of reigning, like many generations rolled into one. I will live enthroned with you forever! Guard me, God, with your unending, unfailing love. Let me live my days walking in grace and truth before you. And my praises will fill the heavens forever, fulfilling my vow to make every day a love-gift to you!”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭61‬:‭1‬-‭8‬ ‭TPT‬‬

“Here’s the one thing I crave from Yahweh, the one thing I seek above all else: I want to live with him every moment in his house, beholding the marvelous beauty of Yahweh, filled with awe, delighting in his glory and grace. I want to contemplate in his temple.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭27‬:‭4‬ ‭TPT‬‬

“One thing have I asked of the Lord, that will I seek, inquire for, and [insistently] require: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord [in His presence] all the days of my life, to behold and gaze upon the beauty [the sweet attractiveness and the delightful loveliness] of the Lord and to meditate, consider, and inquire in His temple. [Ps. 16:11; 18:6; 65:4; Luke 2:37.]”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭27‬:‭4‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

Show me Your glory Lord, may all that You are take center stage! May my life be a love-gift to You, like cast roses upon Your feet you are worthy of the most beautiful and fragrant offerings. In the pressing the aroma so sweet, all for You.
