A New Lens

As our current Church age is closing, and we are preparing and beginning to cross into what has “never been done before”, I think it’s important that we remain childlike and unassuming. What one person is training for may be different from you, and the process equally different, and even if similar we should take into careful consideration that we also learn and receive impartation from the Lord differently as we are unique with our experiences that have formed us thus far.

Some of us are used to being judged because of a life of pioneering, however I believe soon there will be more temperance where many have felt misunderstood. Once again, if you’ve been given an assignment in uncharted territory, even trials to strengthen the individual in preparation will look vastly different to the next. Simply put, it’s really tempting to use old lenses to try and figure people out, what God is doing, etc. However, it hasn’t been done before. So we really don’t know. It’s keeping this in the forefront with humility that we will actually move forward. We need to especially strive to give grace in this transitional season, while yet there is urgency and much at stake.

Recently I had a series of visions with eagles that helped explain the above. One of the things I saw was the close-up of one of the eyelids of the eagle, the “third eyelid”, which is called the nictitating membrane (nictitan). This transparent membrane wipes the eye clean, and keeps it moisturized while the eagle never looses vision or shuts the eye. One of the spiritual applications I believe to be that as we soar through storms and heights we haven’t been to before, (three represents the Spirit) by the Spirit the Lord will help us see clearly, as we individually remain transparent before Him and rely on the HOLY SPIRIT to guide us. Symbolically, the Holy Spirit can also be seen as the source of moisture to the eye, as water often represents the Spirit.

Lastly, this transition, just like the crossing over in the days of old, will be supernatural and yet require our obedience and yielding. While we are maturing as sons and daughters in the Lord, our heart posture must remain childlike in faith, and with that I propose that this cross-over looks much like ‘ascension’ verses ‘over’.

His Name Is Holy

I can hear the burning of fire, I can feel it in my bones …

Some of the “best”Christian influencers do not have the influence of Heaven, they are not affluent in the ways and Presence of the King! Prepare for a ‘season’ of burning, yes even in the House of the Lord; every evil alter that exalts itself in the Name of Christ that is Antichrist will be burned down, for they have honored Him with their lips though their hearts be far from Him.

From the least to the greatest, inferior kingdoms will be made low. The true remnant is rising, I see a vision of a remnant of people across America. Some are standing tall, and others only half their height, and others lower still. There’s another changing of the guard, and even what we thought was a remnant is now being sifted, for every inward part the Lord KNOWS. For some every time they begin to rise, there’s a “bop on the head” that aims to push them low, however I see the Lords Hand of true justice and it is His Hand that judges and brings the proud man low. For He will remove the false hand that strikes His people, and He shall break the string of corrupt puppeteers that aim to control. The Lord loves Justice and He will bring into His Light even by Holy Fire. With tangible fire consuming my head and face I hear, “Humble yourself, humble yourself in the sight of the Lord, before His Mighty Hand wipes away those who will not repent and bow low.”

The Lord will exalt and unify for His glory the true remnant rising, and the false He is sifting like wheat. The oppressed will rise again, and the true Body will unite and help each other, it is a time of exponential growth. The growth is not in numbers per se, it is the maturation of the true Bride. Not all who stand tall are false leaders, though the Lord is removing the lampstand of some of the goats, for the Name of the Lord God is Holy.

”Then the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be brought low; and the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day. And the idols shall utterly pass away (be abolished). Then shall [the stricken, deprived of all in which they had trusted] go into the caves of the rocks and into the holes of the earth from before the terror and dread of the Lord and from before the glory of His majesty, when He arises to shake mightily and terribly the earth. [Luke 23:30.]“
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭2‬:‭17‬-‭19‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

”In that day the Branch of the Lord shall be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the land shall be excellent and lovely to those of Israel who have escaped. [Jer. 23:5; 33:15; Zech. 3:8; 6:12.] And he who is left in Zion and remains in Jerusalem will be called holy, everyone who is recorded for life in Jerusalem and for eternal life, [Joel 3:17; Phil. 4:3.] After the Lord has washed away the [moral] filth of the daughters of Zion [pride, vanity, haughtiness] and has purged the bloodstains of Jerusalem from the midst of it by the spirit and blast of judgment and by the spirit and blast of burning and sifting.“

To Empty Me

To the degree that you will empty yourself is the measure that you can be filled with Jesus.

Many people claim to want and desire more of God though refuse to deny self.

“You will empty yourself” – others can not do this for you. The closeness of our relationship with the Lord and the fruit thereof is ultimately our decision. While we are not saved by works, emptying ourselves is a continuous act of yielding one’s individual will. Hence, Paul writes, “I die daily” (1 Corinthians 15:31).

Resurrection life possesses dead people, and its power flows through those who walk in death (to self will) daily.

The Acts Church was a ‘dead church’, though we have yet to see one more fully alive since.

If not now, then when?

”I have been crucified with Christ [in Him I have shared His crucifixion]; it is no longer I who live, but Christ (the Messiah) lives in me; and the life I now live in the body I live by faith in (by adherence to and reliance on and complete trust in) the Son of God, Who loved me and gave Himself up for me.“ Galatians‬ ‭2‬:‭20‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

”Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.“ Philippians‬ ‭2‬:‭5‬-‭11‬ ‭ESV‬‬

”He must increase, but I must decrease. [He must grow more prominent; I must grow less so.] [Isa. 9:7.] He Who comes from above (heaven) is [far] above all [others]; he who comes from the earth belongs to the earth, and talks the language of earth [his words are from an earthly standpoint]. He Who comes from heaven is [far] above all others [far superior to all others in prominence and in excellence].“ John‬ ‭3‬:‭30‬-‭31‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

The Answer

No one can reel me in like Jesus.
He is the answer.

As I pondered this simple yet profound Truth, one of the Scriptures that came to mind was Isaiah 53:6 – “We all like sheep have gone astray”, and within the meaning of the word “astray” was the word “reel”, also written in my beginning and defining thought.

Thoughts… they can lead us ever so slightly away from the nearness of Truth, and even innocently we can begin to wander lest we take them captive. We find ourselves questioning, tottering, and even shaken when we gaze upon distractions. With great intention we must remain not only near the Shepherds Voice, though in closeness to Him, and best yet in Him. Like a sound wave the closer the vibration is felt, we hear and discern Him, but this is not the hour of the bell… it’s the hour of the whisper. And more honorable still is the person who remains in Him in Oneness.

Apart from Him, I am nothing.

The Answer // All Things
answer (n.)
Middle English answere, from Old English andswaru “a response, a reply to a question,” from and- “against” (from PIE root *ant- “front, forehead,” with derivatives meaning “in front of, before”) + -swaru “affirmation,” from swerian “to swear” (see swear). The proposed etymology suggests an original sense of “sworn statement rebutting a charge.” The meaning “solution of a problem” is from c. 1300.

Is it not true? We all like sheep have gone astray.
have gone astray,
‎תָּעִ֔ינוּ (tā·‘î·nū)
Strong’s 8582: To vacillate, reel, stray

VAC’ILLATE, v.i. [L. vacillo; Eng. to waggle, a diminutive of wag. See Wag.]

  1. To waver; to move one way and the other; to reel or stagger.
  2. To fluctuate in mind or opinion; to waver; to be unsteady or inconstant.

We are in a moment where we must exercise spiritual disciplines with great intentionality and concentration. It is pivotal for ourselves and the future Church generations to come.

”All of us like sheep have gone astray, We have turned, each one, to his own way; But the Lord has caused the wickedness of us all [our sin, our injustice, our wrongdoing] To fall on Him [instead of us].“ ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭53‬:‭6‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Thank you Lord for Your mercy and lovingkindess! The pursuing Savior, the risen Lamb, is He not worthy of all?

”I have set the Lord continually before me; Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.“ Psalms‬ ‭16‬:‭8‬ ‭AMP‬‬

”I have chosen the faithful way; I have placed Your ordinances before me.“
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭119‬:‭30‬ ‭AMP‬‬

”I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek, inquire for, and demand Your servant, for I do not forget Your commandments. [Isa. 53:6; Luke 15:4; I Pet. 2:25.]“ ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭119‬:‭176‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

If we are being shaken, He is not before us. In stillness and quietness our soul will find Him.

”Set your gaze on the path before you. With fixed purpose, looking straight ahead, ignore life’s distractions. Watch where you’re going! Stick to the path of truth, and the road will be safe and smooth before you. Don’t allow yourself to be sidetracked for even a moment or take the detour that leads to darkness.“ Proverbs‬ ‭4‬:‭25‬-‭27‬ ‭TPT‬‬

”Yahweh is my best friend and my shepherd. I always have more than enough. He offers a resting place for me in his luxurious love. His tracks take me to an oasis of peace near the quiet brook of bliss. That’s where he restores and revives my life. He opens before me the right path and leads me along in his footsteps of righteousness so that I can bring honor to his name.“
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭23‬:‭1‬-‭3‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Thank You Jesus, You have never compromised Your Word; You are faithful, You are worthy, You are holy. You ARE The Way, The Truth, and The Life!

COATED MAN OF LIGHT

The anointing is not illustrious or alluring, it illuminates God’s glory and is holy. This can be confusing even to the most pure in heart if not discerned correctly.

What do I mean? The anointing is attractive and it is meant to be, like a magnet or bright light the anointing coats one like a glaze to shine the Light and glory of Christ. “And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to Myself.”” John‬ ‭12‬:‭32‬ ‭NKJV‬‬.

When I was a young teen, I would on occasion feel “the anointing” when I was listening to secular music. One day in my room when I had been listening to the radio, I asked the Lord, how this could be, thinking I wasn’t in church and I certainly wasn’t listening to worship music. The Lord said to me, “Everyone is anointed, it’s who they choose to glorify with their anointing”. Then I realized, in the big picture we are glorifying either God or Satan, and in essence I was listening to worship music. And no servant can have two masters … I immediately understood these musicians and singers were glorifying themselves and Satan.

I understand for some this is a hard pill to swallow. While I don’t think every single non-worship song is glorying the devil, I think we have long been allured by anointing’s that glory in themselves – whether on platforms or not, whether inside the church or not, whether musical worship or not. And for that matter, worship is not limited to music; for everything we yield as a sacrifice (the giving of our time, our finances, our gifts, etc.) and in every way that we set ourselves apart unto to God in spirit, soul, and body is an act of worship. “Therefore I urge you, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies [dedicating all of yourselves, set apart] as a living sacrifice, holy and well-pleasing to God, which is your rational (logical, intelligent) act of worship. And do not be conformed to this world [any longer with its superficial values and customs], but be transformed and progressively changed [as you mature spiritually] by the renewing of your mind [focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His plan and purpose for you].”Romans‬ ‭12‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ ‭AMP‬‬

The purpose of the anointing is to draw men to Christ who is in you, the Anointed One. One of the meanings of anointing is “to smear”, and we must be careful to not use this covering for ourselves, for when we do we dilute and pollute what is due His Name by allowing self to penetrate through this smearing, and are now but mixture obscuring the divine mysteries. “the mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generations, but now has been revealed to His saints. To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. Him we preach, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus.” ‭‭Colossians‬ ‭1‬:‭26‬-‭28‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

How can everyone be anointed? It’s part of the DNA the Lord created you with. Some have more visible ‘coating’ than others, yet we must remember we are anointed and graced for different things. For example, most psychics are called to be prophets but they do not know their Creator and so glorify themselves and the enemy. This is another reason why Scripture tells us if we receive our reward on earth (glory) we will not receive it in Heaven.

Satan who desired his own glory was cast from Heaven for this very reason. He recognized his anointing, beauty, and adornment, becoming infatuated with himself he desired to be exalted above God. Pride lead to his fall. ““Thus says the Lord God: “You were the signet of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty. You were in Eden, the garden of God; every precious stone was your covering, sardius, topaz, and diamond, beryl, onyx, and jasper, sapphire, emerald, and carbuncle; and crafted in gold were your settings and your engravings. On the day that you were created they were prepared. You were an anointed guardian cherub. I placed you; you were on the holy mountain of God; in the midst of the stones of fire you walked. You were blameless in your ways from the day you were created, till unrighteousness was found in you. In the abundance of your trade you were filled with violence in your midst, and you sinned; so I cast you as a profane thing from the mountain of God, and I destroyed you, O guardian cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire. Your heart was proud because of your beauty; you corrupted your wisdom for the sake of your splendor. I cast you to the ground; I exposed you before kings, to feast their eyes on you. By the multitude of your iniquities, in the unrighteousness of your trade you profaned your sanctuaries; so I brought fire out from your midst; it consumed you, and I turned you to ashes on the earth in the sight of all who saw you. All who know you among the peoples are appalled at you; you have come to a dreadful end and shall be no more forever.”” ‭‭Ezekiel‬ ‭28‬:‭12‬-‭19‬ ‭ESV‬‬

This is why death to self is a daily requirement. “The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows].” John‬ ‭10‬:‭10‬ ‭AMP‬‬. We will fall daily, and we will die daily, however we either fall picking up our cross unto the Life of Christ, or we fall through our own pride. Our pride is a reflection of Satan, while our death to self is a reflection of Christ: when we feed ourselves by the sinful nature we help to exalt Satan in the spirit world and when we deny ourselves daily and feed on the Bread of Life we exalt Jesus who is the Name above every Name. And this is the daily war until the end of the age. Now we understand the final war has already been won; so this is the dilemma, the free will of man. Man’s human nature must be held in check, for we all too often become self absorbed. Satan desires the glory for himself, and as our adversary, every time we take glory for ourselves we are actually giving ground to him and giving him a jewel in his crown. He was stripped of his beauty, so the only way he can receive beauty and glory is when we offer our gems to him, and or he takes them when we fall through our pride and self exaltation. The war is for the glory, the glory shines through sons and daughters, what image do you bear? Who is your father?

Scripture writes the anointing destroys the yoke of bondage (Isaiah 10:27). When we wrongfully or selfishly use the anointing, instead of the anointing destroying yokes because of the authority given us, we are governed by the lesser rule of the enemies domain and become bonds to his slavery.

I have written of the above before, yet this is a note worthy of reverberation. You see Satan only desires your soul because He longs for a Bride as well. It is his scheming delight, trickery, and selfishness to take your soul for his glory. Vast are his empty promises wrapped in the pride of life, lust of the flesh, and lust of the eyes (and yes I am writing even to the believer’s). Rooted in self is his desire to take your gems for a crown for himself, raping your soul for any treasure then locking you away in the abyss forever in torment, and separated from Love Himself in the chambers of hell. Satan hates God and equally hates man, because men are the Light bearers of God created in His image. With an understanding that eternal darkness is his fate, Satan fueled by resentment will do anything and everything to wound a heart to detach them from their Creator. But it was Jesus, rightfully named Savior, who gave Himself for the souls of all mankind to purchase His Bride back (atonement for our sins) so that He may be One with Her. Jesus gave up His glory to die and (eventually) marry His Bride. Jesus’ love is the epitome of selflessness, this is eternal life to know the Messiah and be known by Him united as One. Death to self was His invitation to an eternal covenant of Love.

Satan was cast down from glory and desires to be lifted up, he desires ascension. He ascends through the praise of man, which to you and I looks like our sin. He longs for the breath of God, to smell the fragrance of the throne room where once his perfect pitch and melodies filled the House. Now condemned to an abode filled with the stench of sulfur, (literally the smell of rotten eggs) is but a reminder he has no life! “Your pomp is brought down to Sheol, And the sound of your stringed instruments; The maggot is spread under you, And worms cover you.’ “How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, You who weakened the nations! For you have said in your heart: ‘I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation On the farthest sides of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.’ Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol, To the lowest depths of the Pit.” Isaiah‬ ‭14‬:‭11‬-‭15‬ ‭NKJV‬‬.

The Bible and our spiritual realities are so simple, and yet complex. However we must remember everything in earth is a mirror of Heaven. Satan can not create, he can only imitate. In a flash of light he was disrobed of splendor and beauty, “And He said to them, I saw Satan falling like a lightning [flash] from heaven. Behold! I have given you authority and power to trample upon serpents and scorpions, and [physical and mental strength and ability] over all the power that the enemy [possesses]; and nothing shall in any way harm you. Nevertheless, do not rejoice at this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are enrolled in heaven. [Exod. 32:32; Ps. 69:28; Dan. 12:1.]”
‭Luke‬ ‭10‬:‭18‬-‭20‬ ‭AMPC‬‬. We ascend with Christ when we die with Him and are seated with Him at the right side of the Father. Our lives of obedience and love are sacrifices of praises that enthrone Him, and exalt His Name, Jesus Christ the Most Holy and Anointed One. This is where we dwell with Him, “But You are holy, Enthroned in the praises of Israel.” Psalms‬ ‭22‬:‭3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬.

The coated Man of Light! May it be our prayer to bear the image of the Man of Heaven, honor His anointing and reflect His Light! Jesus You are the Shining One, may we humbly present You with every costly gem Your crown deserves. For our image was formed from Your face and any beauty is but Your beauty. “And just as we have borne the image [of the man] of dust, so shall we and so let us also bear the image [of the Man] of heaven.” 1 Corinthians‬ ‭15‬:‭49‬ ‭AMPC‬‬. “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.”‭‭ James‬ ‭1‬:‭17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬.

“Therefore if you have been raised with Christ [to a new life, sharing in His resurrection from the dead], keep seeking the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your mind and keep focused habitually on the things above [the heavenly things], not on things that are on the earth [which have only temporal value]. For you died [to this world], and your [new, real] life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory. So put to death and deprive of power the evil longings of your earthly body [with its sensual, self-centered instincts] immorality, impurity, sinful passion, evil desire, and greed, which is [a kind of] idolatry [because it replaces your devotion to God].”Colossians‬ ‭3‬:‭1‬-‭5‬ ‭AMP‬‬

“The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof, the world and those who dwell therein, for he has founded it upon the seas and established it upon the rivers. Who shall ascend the hill of the Lord? And who shall stand in his holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to what is false and does not swear deceitfully. He will receive blessing from the Lord and righteousness from the God of his salvation. Such is the generation of those who seek him, who seek the face of the God of Jacob. Selah Lift up your heads, O gates! And be lifted up, O ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord, strong and mighty, the Lord, mighty in battle! Lift up your heads, O gates! And lift them up, O ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, he is the King of glory! Selah” ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭24‬:‭1‬-‭10‬ ‭ESV‬‬

SUBMERGED

“Now am I trying to win the favor of men, or of God? Do I seek to please men? If I were still seeking popularity with men, I should not be a bond servant of Christ (the Messiah).” Galatians 1:10 AMPC

What purpose has the test, the trial, the fast, the sacrifice, the sufferings if one does not emerge taking on a greater likeness of Christ?

If I am washed and made clean by the Word, may I find my life submerged in the water of the Holy Spirit.

In the beginning the Holy Spirit was hovering and brooding over the face of the waters, and while all the Persons of the Godhead are essential for Birth, the Holy Spirit is the vital element of water; vital in the birth of creation, vital in the birth of our Savior, vital in the rebirth of mankind through baptism, and vital in the continuous ‘births’, or reformations that cause us to look more like Christ. The Holy Spirit in unity with the Father and the Son formed the seas (Genesis 1:2, 6-8), a symbol for the womb, a spiritual place where we are formed and reformed, refined, cleansed and preserved.

Perhaps the sea will cease to exist after the first earth and first heaven pass away because the Lord’s Bride is now complete and One with Him. What need is there for a sea of forgetfulness of sin when I become in finality washed and pure for my Lord? What need is there for salt to burn my eyes when then I shall fully see? What need is there for salts agitation after I have entered through the gate of Pearl? What need is there for cleansing when I am spotless and fully mature?

Until then I choose submersion. Holy Spirit hold me here. Here You uplift me formless into the life of Christ where I walk on the waters in communion with Him; this is my transformation. Here in submersion you keep me safe in Your Spirit, for if I depart I become nothing but a pillar of salt without You.

If we depart from the waters we have divided hearts like the heart of Lot’s wife, who when looked backward toward her homeland in Sodom and Gomorrah (a symbol of sin and abomination) became a pillar of salt when the Spirit left her (Genesis 19:26). For it is the Holy Spirit who leads and guides us into all Truth, and Truth is the person of Jesus.

May we all humbly pray and cry out as David, “take not Thy Holy Spirit from me!” Holy Spirit I come “under” You. Keep me submerged in Your holy waters until I emerge like Christ, again and again, may I go under when You pull me under and may arise when You say walk. Apart from You, I am nothing, keep me close lest I become a symbol of earth’s empty and void vanity – a worthless pillar of tasteless salt. Help me to love, obey, and fear You, and may I yield until the breath of Christ is entirely mine. Lead me on the waters Holy Spirit to the resting place of the Ark. As You continue to form me, being made fully alive in Christ by Your Spirit, You lead me to the dwelling place, our forever Home where in Holy Union there is no separation; I in You and You in me… the mysteries of the sanctified, created in the depths of the womb.

“Where could I go from Your Spirit? Or where could I flee from Your presence? If I ascend up into heaven, You are there; if I make my bed in Sheol (the place of the dead), behold, You are there. [Rom. 11:33.] If I take the wings of the morning or dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, Even there shall Your hand lead me, and Your right hand shall hold me. My frame was not hidden from You when I was being formed in secret [and] intricately and curiously wrought [as if embroidered with various colors] in the depths of the earth [a region of darkness and mystery]. Your eyes saw my unformed substance, and in Your book all the days [of my life] were written before ever they took shape, when as yet there was none of them.” Psalm 139:7-10, 15-16 AMPC

“Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her, So that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the Word, That He might present the church to Himself in glorious splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such things [that she might be holy and faultless].”Ephesians 5:25-27 AMPC

“For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit,” I Peter 3:18 NKJV

“Teach me Your way, O Lord, that I may walk and live in Your truth; direct and unite my heart [solely, reverently] to fear and honor Your name. [Ps. 5:11; 69:36.] I will confess and praise You, O Lord my God, with my whole (united) heart; and I will glorify Your name forevermore.” Psalm 86:11-12 AMPC

“For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God. But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His. And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.” Romans 8:5-11 NKJV

“Then in a vision I saw a new heaven and a new earth. The first heaven and earth had passed away, and the sea no longer existed. I saw the Holy City, the New Jerusalem, descending out of the heavenly realm from the presence of God, like a pleasing bride that had been prepared for her husband, adorned for her wedding. And I heard a thunderous voice from the throne, saying: “Look! God’s tabernacle is with human beings. And from now on he will tabernacle with them as their God. Now God himself will have his home with them— ‘God-with-them’ will be their God! He will wipe away every tear from their eyes and eliminate death entirely. No one will mourn or weep any longer. The pain of wounds will no longer exist, for the old order has ceased.”” Revelation 21:1-4 TPT

Reformation Day

“The Church may go through her dark ages, but Christ is with her in the midnight.” ~ Charles Spurgeon

Etymology of Reformation

late 14c., reformacioun, “restoration, re-establishment;” early 15c., “improvement, alteration for the better,” from Old French reformacion and directly from Latin reformationem (nominative reformatio), noun of action from past-participle stem of reformare “to form again, change, transform, alter,” from re- “again” (see re-) + formare “to form” (see form (n.)).

With capital R-, in reference to the great 16c. European religious revolution, it is attested by 1540s, borrowed from Luther. The movement began as a bid to “reform” doctrines and practices of the Church of Rome.

I think perhaps some of the greatest work of reformation is really the work of transformation which begins in our hearts. As I’ve shared many times, the Lord spoke to me in Africa in 2009, “The greatest miracle, is the miracle of a transformed heart”. I yield to Your flames Lord, I yield to Your faithful hands. Reform, transform, renew, restore my heart God. Make me new for you! With a right heart we are positioned and changed to lead others unto reform. However, it always begins within, in the deep place of intimacy and transparency before the Lord.

“I know that you delight to set your truth deep in my spirit. So come into the hidden places of my heart and teach me wisdom. Purify my conscience! Make this leper clean again! Wash me in your love until I am pure in heart. Satisfy me in your sweetness, and my song of joy will return. The places you have crushed within me will rejoice in your healing touch. Hide my sins from your face; erase all my guilt by your saving grace. Keep creating in me a clean heart. Fill me with pure thoughts and holy desires, ready to please you. May you never reject me! May you never take from me your sacred Spirit! Let my passion for life be restored, tasting joy in every breakthrough you bring to me. Hold me close to you with a willing spirit that obeys whatever you say. Then I can show other guilty ones how loving and merciful you are. They will find their way back home to you, knowing that you will forgive them. O God, my saving God, deliver me fully from every sin, even the sin that brought bloodguilt. Then my heart will once again be thrilled to sing the passionate songs of joy and deliverance! Lord God, unlock my heart, unlock my lips, and I will overcome with my joyous praise! For the source of your pleasure is not in my performance or the sacrifices I might offer to you. The fountain of your pleasure is found in the sacrifice of my shattered heart before you. You will not despise my tenderness as I bow down humbly at your feet. Because you favor Zion, do what is good for her. Be the protecting wall around Jerusalem. And when we are fully restored, you will rejoice and take delight in every offering of our lives as we bring our sacrifices of righteousness before you in love!”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭51‬:‭6‬-‭19‬ ‭TPT‬‬

“Behold, You desire truth in the inner being; make me therefore to know wisdom in my inmost heart. Purify me with hyssop, and I shall be clean [ceremonially]; wash me, and I shall [in reality] be whiter than snow. Make me to hear joy and gladness and be satisfied; let the bones which You have broken rejoice. Hide Your face from my sins and blot out all my guilt and iniquities. Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right, persevering, and steadfast spirit within me. Cast me not away from Your presence and take not Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation and uphold me with a willing spirit. Then will I teach transgressors Your ways, and sinners shall be converted and return to You. Deliver me from bloodguiltiness and death, O God, the God of my salvation, and my tongue shall sing aloud of Your righteousness (Your rightness and Your justice). O Lord, open my lips, and my mouth shall show forth Your praise. For You delight not in sacrifice, or else would I give it; You find no pleasure in burnt offering. [I Sam. 15:22.] My sacrifice [the sacrifice acceptable] to God is a broken spirit; a broken and a contrite heart [broken down with sorrow for sin and humbly and thoroughly penitent], such, O God, You will not despise. Do good in Your good pleasure to Zion; rebuild the walls of Jerusalem. Then will You delight in the sacrifices of righteousness, justice, and right, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering; then bullocks will be offered upon Your altar.”

THE FAVORED

If we are a people who cry out, “take not Thy Holy Spirit from me”, if we should be a people after the Lord’s own heart, then we are a people who willingly take instruction, correction and rebuke. For it is the Holy Spirit who corrects, leads and guides us into all Truth. The Holy Spirit ushers us to Jesus, and even unto a rod for rebuke.

Therefore, do not confuse the fruit or attribute of being loving when it is only with those who you like or are friends with. Servant leadership isn’t about your kingdom, it’s about the Lord’s Kingdom.

Then why are so many who are among the deligated and favored the ones who consistently give their eyes and ears to only those who are within their own groups and cliques? You are not Jesus to those around you, you are a reflection of self or the image you hope others will see. Some test you with their own tricks and agendas under a ‘covering’ of the Holy Spirit, ultimately using Him and so become deceived themselves. And yet praise is given and the actions and attitudes are affirmed, grounding the dysfunctional cycle. At the core it’s religious and pharisaical. All the while a false sense of unity is like wool over the eye, and you can not see that you are divided by the fear of man and it is delaying the plan of the Lord. How quickly we all forget we are The Body of the Lord. And yet whether favored or unfavored, maturity is required and even demanded for the narrow road we must go to carry our cross, and plead, ‘lead us Lord’!

Oh stubborn man, a house divided can not stand!

Forgive us Jesus, for we have sinned against you.

Church. We are failing. Big time.
It all needs to fall apart.

Let if fall

Let it crumble

Let the Nehemiah’s and Hananiah’s arise and lead and restore in Heaven’s wisdom and Fear of the Lord.

Nehemiah means “Yah comforts” in Hebrew and Hananiah means “Yah has favored” in Hebrew. Soon the tables will turn, and the Lord will set His appointed men in command by His Command; those who will bring comfort to Him, for they are men after His own heart and those who Fear His Holy Name.

The Lord God is the Judge, and His very gavel will break apart and shatter all the works of man. May we fear His Holy Name again and rebuild upon the Chief Cornerstone and the spiritual plain of our “forefathers of the faith”.

“But He, well aware of their thoughts and purpose, said to them, “Every kingdom divided against itself is doomed to destruction; and a house divided against itself falls.” ‭‭Luke‬ ‭11‬:‭17‬ ‭AMP‬‬

“And if a house is divided (split into factions and rebelling) against itself, that house will not be able to last.” ‭‭Mark‬ ‭3‬:‭25‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

“The words of Nehemiah son of Hacaliah: Now it happened in the month of Chislev, in the twentieth year [of the Persian king], as I was in the capitol of Susa, Hanani, one of my brothers, and some men from Judah came; and I asked them about the surviving Jews who had escaped and survived the captivity, and about Jerusalem. They said to me, “The remnant there in the province who survived the captivity are in great distress and reproach; the wall of Jerusalem is broken down and its [fortified] gates have been burned (destroyed) by fire.” Now it came about when I heard these words, I sat down and wept and mourned for days; and I was fasting and praying [constantly] before the God of heaven. And I said, “Please, O Lord God of heaven, the great and awesome God, who keeps the covenant and lovingkindness for those who love Him and keep His commandments, please let Your ear be attentive and Your eyes open to hear the prayer of Your servant which I am praying before You, day and night, on behalf of Your servants, the sons (descendants) of Israel (Jacob), confessing the sins of the sons of Israel which we have committed against You; I and my father’s house have sinned. We have acted very corruptly against You and have not kept the commandments, nor the statutes, nor the ordinances which You commanded Your servant Moses. Please remember the word which You commanded Your servant Moses, saying, ‘If you are unfaithful and violate your obligations to Me I will scatter you [abroad] among the peoples; but if you return to Me and keep My commandments and do them, though those of you who have been scattered are in the most remote part of the heavens, I will gather them from there and will bring them to the place where I have chosen for My Name to dwell.’ Now they are Your servants and Your people whom You have redeemed by Your great power and by Your strong hand. Please, O Lord, let Your ear be attentive to the prayer of Your servant and the prayer of Your servants who delight to [reverently] fear Your Name [Your essence, Your nature, Your attributes, with awe]; and make Your servant successful this day and grant him compassion in the sight of this man [the king].” For I was cupbearer to the king [of Persia].” ‭‭Nehemiah‬ ‭1‬:‭1‬-‭11‬ ‭AMP‬‬

“In the month of Nisan, in the twentieth year of King Artaxerxes, when wine was placed before him, I took the wine and gave it to the king. Now I had not [previously] been sad in his presence. So the king said to me, “Why do you look sad when you are not sick? This is nothing but sadness of heart.” Then I was very frightened, and I said to the king, “Let the king live forever. Why should my face not be sad when the city, the place of my fathers’ tombs, lies desolate and its gates have been consumed by fire?” The king said to me, “What do you request?” So I prayed to the God of heaven. I said to the king, “If it pleases the king, and if your servant has found favor in your presence, [I ask] that you send me to Judah, to the city of my fathers’ tombs, so that I may rebuild it.”” ‭‭Nehemiah‬ ‭2‬:‭1‬-‭5‬ ‭AMP‬‬

“Now when the wall had been rebuilt and I had set up the doors, and the gatekeepers, singers, and Levites had been appointed, I put my brother Hanani, with Hananiah the commander of the fortress, in charge of Jerusalem, for Hananiah was a more faithful and God-fearing man than many [of the others].” Nehemiah‬ ‭7‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ AMP

“The [reverent] fear of the Lord [that is, worshiping Him and regarding Him as truly awesome] is the beginning and the preeminent part of wisdom [its starting point and its essence], And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding and spiritual insight.”‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭9‬:‭10‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Stay Close and Remain

True and absolute strength is found in our total dependence upon Jesus.

While talking with the Lord I simply uttered “Lord, help me be strong for You”. Not in the sense that He needs my strength, how foolish is that? Though in the sense that I desire to love Him and obey well, be fully committed to Him in all things. After I said this, I immediately had a vision where I was embraced in a hug with the Lord with my head resting upon His chest. To be more than conquerors requires strength, especially in the time and age in which we live.

We can never get away from the simple truth that strength is found in our weakness. Biblical weakness glories in the strength of Jesus because in essence it reveals the decrease of man for the increase of God while wrapped in the mystery of divine union.

Connection is our source of Strength and Strength is developed in union, while empowerment is birthed from union.

Apart from Him we can do nothing.

Furthermore, I don’t want to be separated from Him.

Everything we need is just a heartbeat away. Don’t miss a beat. Stay close and remain.

“I am the Vine; you are the branches. Whoever lives in Me and I in him bears much (abundant) fruit. However, apart from Me [cut off from vital union with Me] you can do nothing.”
‭‭John‬ ‭15‬:‭5‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

“But He said to me, My grace (My favor and loving-kindness and mercy) is enough for you [sufficient against any danger and enables you to bear the trouble manfully]; for My strength and power are made perfect (fulfilled and completed) and show themselves most effective in [your] weakness. Therefore, I will all the more gladly glory in my weaknesses and infirmities, that the strength and power of Christ (the Messiah) may rest (yes, may pitch a tent over and dwell) upon me!” 2 Corinthians‬ ‭12‬:‭9‬ ‭AMPC‬‬
