Revealing Of The Heart
The Lord will protect the house of David. In the natural Saul was David’s elder, however you can be a David in the spirit and be older than Saul in the natural, and likewise you can be a Saul in the spirit and be younger than a David (and of course vice versa). The New Age or era isn’t dependent on age, it is dependent on heart.
There has been gross doting over looks, ability, and performance while forsaking wisdom, character, and purity of heart in the House of God.
We know this; prophets have been hammering the message especially for the last few years. But why do we continue to seemingly overlook and cover sin in the Body – and while we are all kings and priests in the new covenant, I must especially address those on platform when in essence they are serving compromise instead of serving at the feet of Jesus. Being devoted to Christ in this manner includes your lifestyle on and off platform, for character reaches far beyond speech or the front one gives for appearance. While we are all on the potter’s wheel, there’s a higher accountability for visibility; those who serve and minister to the Lord in leadership, worship, five-fold etc. We are supposed to be literally cut from a different cloth and even ironically our clothing does not reflect such a mandate! Reveal the Glory of God not “the light” of your skin. Reveal the cross that leads others AWAY from sin, reveal the Lamb who’s blood so precious poured out. Reveal Heaven’s mysteries rather than hidden codes that grant access to inner circles. Reveal the Kingdom of Heaven at hand that opposes the kingdom(s) of man.
Heart issues are being exposed. There is no where to hide, on the alter is where we must all go, bow low, and die.
While we are asked to cover with love and grace, and even speak those things that be not as though they were – love still must perfect it’s work in our hearts. No wishful or hopeful thinking can suffice, not even prophecy alone can change a heart – there must be a yielding to the work of the Spirit. Does the prophecy make a man’s heart mature, or is the heart whom finds his life in the Vine who bears mature fruit?
I am grieved, saddened and perplexed. When will the priests and levites purify themselves? When will they yield? How many warnings before we cut off mixture in the House of God? Mercy’s extravagant price undervalued by the sin our Lord abhors, and thanks be unto to Him mercies shall triumph, but for how long will we remain tolerant? How long will justice and truth stay silent?
Are we not to praise those who fear the Lord? The woman, or ‘Bride of Christ’ who fears the Lord is to be praised. We continue to praise those who do not fear the Lord in action.
You may name me religious but the Lord calls it righteous.
I understand that man looks at the outward appearance and the Lord is looking at the heart. Read it again. The Lord is looking at the heart. The Lord is looking at the heart. There is a revealing, and it is what is in the heart. Look in the mirror. How we dress reveals what is in our heart. What we say reveals what is in our heart. What we do reveals what is in our heart. What we think reveals what in our heart.
Who are you, when it’s just you and your heart?
Lord, show us! What is in our heart?
It’s a matter of the heart.
David David David, may the Lord protect and preserve you. A man after God’s own heart.
May this be our prayer: Lord make me a living, burning sacrifice!
“Behold, You desire truth in the inner being; make me therefore to know wisdom in my inmost heart. Purify me with hyssop, and I shall be clean [ceremonially]; wash me, and I shall [in reality] be whiter than snow. Make me to hear joy and gladness and be satisfied; let the bones which You have broken rejoice. Hide Your face from my sins and blot out all my guilt and iniquities. Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right, persevering, and steadfast spirit within me. Cast me not away from Your presence and take not Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation and uphold me with a willing spirit. Then will I teach transgressors Your ways, and sinners shall be converted and return to You.”Psalm 51:6-13 AMPC
“I will praise and give thanks to You with uprightness of heart when I learn [by sanctified experiences] Your righteous judgments [Your decisions against and punishments for particular lines of thought and conduct]. I will keep Your statutes; O forsake me not utterly. How shall a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed and keeping watch [on himself] according to Your word [conforming his life to it]. With my whole heart have I sought You, inquiring for and of You and yearning for You; Oh, let me not wander or step aside [either in ignorance or willfully] from Your commandments. [II Chron. 15:15.] Your word have I laid up in my heart, that I might not sin against You. Blessed are You, O Lord; teach me Your statutes.” Psalm 119:7-12 AMPC
“A time will come, however, indeed it is already here, when the true (genuine) worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth (reality); for the Father is seeking just such people as these as His worshipers. God is a Spirit (a spiritual Being) and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth (reality).” John 4:23-24 AMPC
“Charm and grace are deceptive, and [superficial] beauty is vain, But a woman who fears the Lord [reverently worshiping, obeying, serving, and trusting Him with awe-filled respect], she shall be praised.” Proverbs 31:30 AMP
“When they had come, he looked on Eliab [the eldest son] and said, Surely the Lord’s anointed is before Him. But the Lord said to Samuel, Look not on his appearance or at the height of his stature, for I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees; for man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart. Jesse made seven of his sons pass before Samuel. And Samuel said to Jesse, The Lord has not chosen any of these. Then [he] said to Jesse, Are all your sons here? [Jesse] said, There is yet the youngest; he is tending the sheep. Samuel said to Jesse, Send for him; for we will not sit down to eat until he is here. Jesse sent and brought him. David had a healthy reddish complexion and beautiful eyes, and was fine-looking. The Lord said [to Samuel], Arise, anoint him; this is he. Then Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed David in the midst of his brothers; and the Spirit of the Lord came mightily upon David from that day forward. And Samuel arose and went to Ramah.” 1 Samuel 16:6-7, 10-13 AMPC
