May we remember who we are praying to ~ the Creator of the Heavens and the earth. The giver of all life, the breath in our lungs, the blood in our veins. He is too wonderful, incomprehensible, multi-dimensional, His ways past finding out. Our intelligence just a speck of dust. May we remember and may our faith increase, for truly How Great Is Our God!
”Who has measured the waters in the hollow of His hand, Measured heaven with a span And calculated the dust of the earth in a measure? Weighed the mountains in scales And the hills in a balance? Who has directed the Spirit of the Lord, Or as His counselor has taught Him? With whom did He take counsel, and who instructed Him, And taught Him in the path of justice? Who taught Him knowledge, And showed Him the way of understanding?“ Isaiah 40:12-14 NKJV
”“Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh; is there anything too difficult for Me?”“ Jeremiah 32:27 AMP
”Is anything too difficult or too wonderful for the Lord? At the appointed time, when the season [for her delivery] comes, I will return to you and Sarah will have a son.”“ Genesis 18:14 AMP
Let us remember He makes the impossible possible. At the appointed time… at His Word, at His return, His essence, His nearness … Yeshua, our Beloved, our Savior, our Lord in His proximity life abounds, He make all things new.
Forgive us Lord, for in our human weakness we have allowed You to remain small, so less than You deserve. We fail to uphold You where You belong. Open the eyes of our hearts, that we may rightly see and know You.
Tetelestai “It is finished” ~ Jesus’ shed blood finishes everything, beginning to the end 🩸 Thank you beautiful Lamb of God, you are life to me.
“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.” James 1:17 NKJV
The Father of lights gave us Heaven’s choicest gift, the Light of the world, the spotless Lamb. In Him there is no darkness, therefore darkness could not hold Him. Thank you Father for sending Your Son, it truly is a Good Friday! The Lamb, the Light, the Redeemer restored what was lost through the darkness of sin.
Today we remember when You Jesus humbled Yourself to the point of death on the cross, and became sin for us. There would be no eternal life or light without You. Thank you for the unimaginable pain and suffering you endured for us. Words will never suffice, though we thank You Lord for taking the darkness of the world, the very grip of sin and death itself that we may experience Your Life. You are and forever will be the perfect Lamb of God!
I can’t get over it, may I never desire to get over this love. If we love Jesus, we receive ALL of Him, AND the Father and Holy Spirit. They will ALL come live with you and make for themselves a special dwelling place in you! They are One and desire to be one with us as they are One. Glory be to God, we are not worthy yet He makes us worthy by receiving Him and the work of the cross, He stays forever when we obey His teaching and we abide and remain in Him. Thank you Jesus. Thank you Father. Thank you Holy Spirit! What an honor to receive and experience this Love. May we never lose this precious wonder that the Creator of the Heaven’s and earth chooses to abide with man. We are chosen, we are loved.
“Jesus answered, If a person [really] loves Me, he will keep My word [obey My teaching]; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home (abode, special dwelling place) with him.” John 14:23 AMPC
“Dwell in Me, and I will dwell in you. [Live in Me, and I will live in you.] Just as no branch can bear fruit of itself without abiding in (being vitally united to) the vine, neither can you bear fruit unless you abide in Me. I am the Vine; you are the branches. Whoever lives in Me and I in him bears much (abundant) fruit. However, apart from Me [cut off from vital union with Me] you can do nothing. When you bear (produce) much fruit, My Father is honored and glorified, and you show and prove yourselves to be true followers of Mine. I have loved you, [just] as the Father has loved Me; abide in My love [continue in His love with Me]. If you keep My commandments [if you continue to obey My instructions], you will abide in My love and live on in it, just as I have obeyed My Father’s commandments and live on in His love. I have told you these things, that My joy and delight may be in you, and that your joy and gladness may be of full measure and complete and overflowing. This is My commandment: that you love one another [just] as I have loved you. No one has greater love [no one has shown stronger affection] than to lay down (give up) his own life for his friends. You are My friends if you keep on doing the things which I command you to do.” John 15:4-5, 8-14 AMPC
“SEE WHAT [an incredible] quality of love the Father has given (shown, bestowed on) us, that we should [be permitted to] be named and called and counted the children of God! And so we are! The reason that the world does not know (recognize, acknowledge) us is that it does not know (recognize, acknowledge) Him.” 1 John 3:1 AMPC
In the Old Testament, Passover was a type and shadow of the redeemer, liberator, deliverer, and Savior to come – Jesus. This year Passover begins this evening at sunset, coinciding with the very day we remember the crucifixion of Christ on this “Good Friday”. And so it feels especially holy today as we celebrate the beginning of Passover, and the last of the plagues in Egypt before the Israelites were freed. “For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment [proving their helplessness]. I am the Lord. The blood shall be for a token or sign to you upon [the doorposts of] the houses where you are, [that] when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and no plague shall be upon you to destroy you when I smite the land of Egypt. [I Cor. 5:7; Heb. 11:28.]” Exodus 13-12:12 . The blood applied to the doorframes was that from a spotless lamb, whose innocent blood was sacrificed so that the death Angel would passover their homes, sparing their firstborn.
I do not think even with the most powerful revelations of the atonement for sin we will fully understand the blood sacrifice of our risen Lord on this side of Heaven. Perhaps the closest was Jesus’ cousin John the Baptist who proclaimed “The next day John saw Jesus coming to him and said, Look! There is the Lamb of God, Who takes away the sin of the world! [Exod. 12:3; Isa. 53:7.]” John 1:29. And that wasn’t the first time John recognized the Lord by the Spirit, thirty years earlier the two miracle babies John and Jesus had an encounter while in their mother’s wombs.
“And listen, even your relative Elizabeth has also conceived a son in her old age; and she who was called barren is now in her sixth month. For with God nothing [is or ever] shall be impossible.” Then Mary said, “Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; may it be done to me according to your word.” And the angel left her. Now at this time Mary arose and hurried to the hill country, to a city of Judah (Judea), and she entered the house of Zacharias and greeted Elizabeth. When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, her baby leaped in her womb; and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit and empowered by Him.” Luke 1:36-41 AMP
The fulfillment of the Word had come, and the for-running prophet in the womb had recognized Him, the perfect Lamb of God slain before the foundation of the world (Revelation 13:8), though as a man John recognized Jesus as the Son of God after the Holy Spirit revealed this to him. “This is the one I meant when I said, ‘A man who comes after me has surpassed me because he was before me.’ I myself did not know him, but the reason I came baptizing with water was that he might be revealed to Israel.” Then John gave this testimony: “I saw the Spirit come down from heaven as a dove and remain on him. And I myself did not know him, but the one who sent me to baptize with water told me, ‘The man on whom you see the Spirit come down and remain is the one who will baptize with the Holy Spirit.’ I have seen and I testify that this is God’s Chosen One.”” John 1:30-34 NIV
Jesus is the spotless lamb. He is the firstborn (Romans 8:29) and His blood made a way for you and I to forever be free from death with the gift of reconciliation and eternal life. “Clean out the old leaven so that you may be a new batch, just as you are, still unleavened. For Christ our Passover Lamb has been sacrificed. Therefore, let us celebrate the feast, not with old leaven, nor with leaven of vice and malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and [untainted] truth.” 1 Corinthians 5:7-8 AMP. His blood cleanses, His blood washes us, His blood purifies us to be seen as holy in His sight. His blood does for us that which we could absolutely never do for ourselves. And it takes the Holy Spirit to reveal the depths of this truth. May the Holy Spirit reveal Jesus, the power of the crucifixion and His atonement like you have never experienced before; Behold our Beautiful, Flawless Passover Lamb!
Every time to you say yes to God, every time you yield to the work of the Holy Spirit, every time you look to Jesus you are partnering with the supernatural work of completion. Keep giving the Lord your agreement, He is forming you so that there will be nothing missing, nothing lacking, nothing broken. Oh how He loves us!
“And I am convinced and sure of this very thing, that He Who began a good work in you will continue until the day of Jesus Christ [right up to the time of His return], developing [that good work] and perfecting and bringing it to full completion in you.” Philippians 1:6 AMPC
“I pray with great faith for you, because I’m fully convinced that the One who began this gracious work in you will faithfully continue the process of maturing you until the unveiling of our Lord Jesus Christ!” Philippians 1:6 TPT
“You will guard him and keep him in perfect and constant peace whose mind [both its inclination and its character] is stayed on You, because he commits himself to You, leans on You, and hopes confidently in You. So trust in the Lord (commit yourself to Him, lean on Him, hope confidently in Him) forever; for the Lord God is an everlasting Rock [the Rock of Ages].” Isaiah 26:3-4 AMPC
Often times we are frustrated and offended with people because we are looking to them to meet a need that should be found in our relationship with Jesus.
Part of the maturing in the Body of Christ in this hour is TOTAL DEPENDENCY upon Him. The old wine skin model creates a focus on leaders and people – and while we are to bear one another’s burdens, love one another, etc – at our core we shouldn’t look to others to meet our needs. Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith. All eyes on King Jesus, everything finds fulfillment in Him!
“Who could ever wrap their minds around the riches of God, the depth of his wisdom, and the marvel of his perfect knowledge? Who could ever explain the wonder of his decisions or search out the mysterious way he carries out his plans? For who has discovered how the Lord thinks or is wise enough to be the one to advise him in his plans? Or: “Who has ever first given something to God that obligates God to owe him something in return?” For out of him, the sustainer of everything, came everything, and now everything finds fulfillment in him. May all praise and honor be given to him forever! Amen!” Romans 11:33-36 TPT
I asked the Lord to speak to me, and He put this song in my heart. He’s the best “confirmation”; the Name above every name, the Word made flesh, the very Spirit of prophecy, He is Truth and all we’ll ever need!
Every time I read or sing the lyrics, ‘Just to rest upon His promise,’ I see a picture of a face resting on His heart. A sweet reminder that’s where He wants us, resting upon His heart and loving Him well. Surrender … trust… love … be still and know the promises are safe within the most faithful One who keeps them with all His heart.
“Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus, Just to take Him at His word; Just to rest upon His promise; Just to know, Thus saith the Lord.
Jesus, Jesus, how I trust Him, How I’ve proved Him o’er and o’er, Jesus, Jesus, Precious Jesus! O for grace to trust Him more.”
The greatest gift you could give the Lord in 2022 (and forever will be) is your heart. We love the Lord with a devoted heart to Him through our obedience, as Jesus said, “If you [really] love Me, you will keep and obey My commandments.” John 14:15 AMP.
Success in Heaven is measured by having lived a life of obedience to the Lord on earth. “So, beloved, since you are looking forward to these things, be diligent and make every effort to be found by Him [at His return] spotless and blameless, in peace [that is, inwardly calm with a sense of spiritual well-being and confidence, having lived a life of obedience to Him].” 2 Peter 3:14 AMP
We need to know and understand the persons of the Godhead to love Jesus more; their roles, character and attributes will actually lead us to love Jesus.
Under the banner of Love (Song of Solomon 2:4) we are drawn by the Father, wooed by the Spirit, and received by Jesus.
“No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him [giving him the desire to come to Me].” John 6:44 AMP
Ask the Father to draw you nearer to His heart and His ways, ask the Holy Spirit to lead you Jesus, and ask Jesus to encounter you with Himself.
“Until now you have not asked [the Father] for anything in My name; but now ask and keep on asking and you will receive, so that your joy may be full and complete.” John 16:24 AMP
““ Ask and keep on asking and it will be given to you; seek and keep on seeking and you will find; knock and keep on knocking and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who keeps on asking receives, and he who keeps on seeking finds, and to him who keeps on knocking, it will be opened. Matthew 7:7-8 AMP
Today the Lord is saying, you can trust His leadership. He will show you the path of life. He is the Word, you will find Him there.
“Truth’s shining light guides me in my choices and decisions; the revelation of your Word makes my pathway clear.” Psalms 119:105 TPT
“Because of you, I know the path of life, as I taste the fullness of joy in your presence. At your right side I experience divine pleasures forevermore!” Psalms 16:11 TPT
