Psalm 61

“O God, hear my prayer. Listen to my heart’s cry. For no matter where I am, even when I’m far from home, I will cry out to you for a father’s help. When I’m feeble and overwhelmed by life, guide me into your glory, where I am safe and sheltered. Lord, you are a paradise of protection to me. You lift me high above the fray. None of my foes can touch me when I’m held firmly in your wraparound presence! Keep me in this glory. Let me live continually under your splendor-shadow, hiding my life in you forever. Pause in his presence You have heard my sweet resolutions to love and serve you, for I am your beloved. And you have given me an inheritance of rich treasures, which you give to all your devoted lovers. You treat me like a king, giving me a full and abundant life, years and years of reigning, like many generations rolled into one. I will live enthroned with you forever! Guard me, God, with your unending, unfailing love. Let me live my days walking in grace and truth before you. And my praises will fill the heavens forever, fulfilling my vow to make every day a love-gift to you!”

“Here’s the one thing I crave from Yahweh, the one thing I seek above all else: I want to live with him every moment in his house, beholding the marvelous beauty of Yahweh, filled with awe, delighting in his glory and grace. I want to contemplate in his temple.”

“One thing have I asked of the Lord, that will I seek, inquire for, and [insistently] require: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord [in His presence] all the days of my life, to behold and gaze upon the beauty [the sweet attractiveness and the delightful loveliness] of the Lord and to meditate, consider, and inquire in His temple. Show me Your glory Lord, may all that You are take center stage! May my life be a love-gift to You, like cast roses upon Your feet you are worthy of the most beautiful and fragrant offerings. In the pressing the aroma so sweet, all for You.

One In Glory

I encourage you to mediate on this: when Christ is seen for who He really is, who you really are will also be revealed.

Through the plate of of redemption you are one with Him in glory.

“Christ’s resurrection is your resurrection too. This is why we are to yearn for all that is above, for that’s where Christ sits enthroned at the place of all power, honor, and authority! Yes, feast on all the treasures of the heavenly realm and fill your thoughts with heavenly realities, and not with the distractions of the natural realm. Your crucifixion with Christ has severed the tie to this life, and now your true life is hidden away in God in Christ. And as Christ himself is seen for who he really is, who you really are will also be revealed, for you are now one with him in his glory!”

“Therefore if you have been raised with Christ [to a new life, sharing in His resurrection from the dead], keep seeking the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your mind and keep focused habitually on the things above [the heavenly things], not on things that are on the earth [which have only temporal value]. For you died [to this world], and your [new, real] life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.”

Beauty In Every Season

Instantly when I saw this man on my walk today I felt a fathers heart, and though focused it was merry on display through him. It was so clear the Father was speaking I turned back and asked if I could take this photo. I said, “this so symbolic of finding beauty in every season” and he replied confidently, “it’s hard not too”. What a picture of The Father, master Creator always working and appreciating what is being made, wether seen or underneath the surface!

I spoke to him for a few moments and thanked him, and went about my walk. A few steps ahead I heard in my spirit, “I know what it was, I know what it is, and know what it is becoming.” It reminds me of Revelation 1:8, “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, says the Lord God, He Who is and Who was and Who is to come, the Almighty (the Ruler of all). [Isa. 9:6.]”

It may be hard for you to except, but today the Lord looks at you and sees beauty (even when you don’t have any leaves 😉). Many feel stripped right now but the Lord sees what you are becoming. He thinks your life is so valuable that He is even taking the time to remember you in this season and artistically paint a canvas. Maybe you feel strong in spirit but your circumstances have been bleak, well the Lord would say over them, “I know what it is but I know what it is becoming”. In every season, you are the Fathers artwork. The Lord also spoke to me and said He does not show us visions and dreams or make promises to disappoint us, and He is faithful to bring to completion. Genesis reminds us that He loves completion, as on the seventh day (seven means perfection and completion) He rested and called what He created good. “I am convinced and confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will [continue to] perfect and complete it until the day of Christ Jesus [the time of His return].” ‭‭Philippians‬ ‭1:6‬ ‭

When we live our lives yielded to His Spirit and trust in His process of transformation we can not be put to shame. The art of transformation is change, becoming for the Lord. The Father knows what you are becoming for the One who is to come and I promise you it is all for the beauty of His Son. “For by one sacrifice he has made perfect forever those who are being made holy.” Hebrews‬ ‭10:14‬ ‭

It is the Father’s delight to fashion us into the image of His glorious Son. You are not a burden, you are His beloved. “And all of us, as with unveiled face, [because we] continued to behold [in the Word of God] as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are constantly being transfigured into His very own image in ever increasing splendor and from one degree of glory to another; [for this comes] from the Lord [Who is] the Spirit.” 2 Corinthians‬ ‭3:18‬ ‭‭‭
