The Rage Over Divine Birth

Yesterday I kept thinking, “the spirit realm is on steroids right now!” I was praying into it and asking the Lord to reveal and unmask what it is at the root after I seemingly out of no where was faced with an onslaught of discouragement and personal attacks against the heart. Everything in me wanted to give up … Today I’m reminded of the season we are in, a time we remember the birth of our Savior. The spirit realm was raging then too…

“NOW WHEN Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men [astrologers] from the east came to Jerusalem, asking, Where is He Who has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the east at its rising and have come to worship Him. [Num. 24:17; Jer. 23:5; Zech. 9:9.] When Herod the king heard this, he was disturbed and troubled, and the whole of Jerusalem with him. So he called together all the chief priests and learned men (scribes) of the people and anxiously asked them where the Christ was to be born. They replied to him, In Bethlehem of Judea, for so it is written by the prophet: And you Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, you are not in any way least or insignificant among the chief cities of Judah; for from you shall come a Ruler (Leader) Who will govern and shepherd My people Israel. [Mic. 5:2.] Then Herod sent for the wise men [astrologers] secretly, and accurately to the last point ascertained from them the time of the appearing of the star [that is, how long the star had made itself visible since its rising in the east]. Then he sent them to Bethlehem, saying, Go and search for the Child carefully and diligently, and when you have found Him, bring me word, that I too may come and worship Him. When they had listened to the king, they went their way, and behold, the star which had been seen in the east in its rising went before them until it came and stood over the place where the young Child was. When they saw the star, they were thrilled with ecstatic joy. And on going into the house, they saw the Child with Mary His mother, and they fell down and worshiped Him. Then opening their treasure bags, they presented to Him gifts–gold and frankincense and myrrh. And receiving an answer to their asking, they were divinely instructed and warned in a dream not to go back to Herod; so they departed to their own country by a different way. Now after they had gone, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream and said, Get up! [Tenderly] take unto you the young Child and His mother and flee to Egypt; and remain there till I tell you [otherwise], for Herod intends to search for the Child in order to destroy Him. And having risen, he took the Child and His mother by night and withdrew to Egypt And remained there until Herod’s death. This was to fulfill what the Lord had spoken by the prophet, Out of Egypt have I called My Son. [Hos. 11:1.] Then Herod, when he realized that he had been misled by the wise men, was furiously enraged, and he sent and put to death all the male children in Bethlehem and in all that territory who were two years old and under, reckoning according to the date which he had investigated diligently and had learned exactly from the wise men. Then was fulfilled what was spoken by the prophet Jeremiah: A voice was heard in Ramah, wailing and loud lamentation, Rachel weeping for her children; she refused to be comforted, because they were no more. [Jer. 31:15.] But when Herod died, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt And said, Rise, [tenderly] take unto you the Child and His mother and go to the land of Israel, for those who sought the Child’s life are dead. Then he awoke and arose and [tenderly] took the Child and His mother and came into the land of Israel. But because he heard that Archelaus was ruling over Judea in the place of his father Herod, he was afraid to go there. And being divinely warned in a dream, he withdrew to the region of Galilee. He went and dwelt in a town called Nazareth, so that what was spoken through the prophets might be fulfilled: He shall be called a Nazarene [Branch, Separated One]. [Isa. 11:1.]” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭2‬:‭1‬-‭23‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

There is raging when there is divine birthing. We see this especially in the birth of Jesus, and so it was the case with many in the Bible when ever the Lord’s plans and purposes were to be manifested in the earth realm through His chosen servants.

However though there be much “noise” in the spirit realm, this is the hour to lean in and listen to the voice of the Lord with great attention and detail. Listen to the warnings like the wise men, obey the dreams like Joseph, fulfill the Word of the Lord in humility.

There are long overdue birthings because this is a cycle. You may not want to hear that, but I’ve written something similar for the last couple of years as I have seen this on repeat. The best we can do is love the Lord well, listen and obey. It takes agreement to deliver quietly and in safety; pray for wisdom, and pray for the hearing, seeing, and obedient Joseph’s to rise and protect the baby. Many plans are delayed and/or are not birthed because symbolically there are “unseeing / unhearing Joseph’s” who did not believe in Mary’s miraculous conception to begin with, or they choose not listen to the instructions of the Lord. Both Mary and Joseph suffered unjust attacks of accusation and scorn, they had reason to give up if not for the Word of the Lord made known to them – thankfully they did not consider themselves wise in their own eyes and even through trial and persecution were obedient. We all need to be like the obedient Joseph’s and Mary’s who are lead by the Word of the Lord (they were lead by the Lord’s voice in angelic visitations and dreams) rather than preferring other voices of influence or authority like a Herod. The wise men, and or “wisdom” didn’t obey and return to Herod as he had requested, for wisdom recognized the plan to kill the dream and purpose of God and therefore returned to their own land (preserving inheritance).

The Lord will not birth an illegitimate child, it is contrary to His nature, for He came to be a Father to the fatherless. He is looking for both mother’s and father’s, as He can not separate Himself from unity and covenant. While the Lord watches over His Word to perform it, He works through yielded vessels who partner with Him. It is a sobering and responsible place to be.

We are covered by grace to carry the promise to fulfillment, however it is humility, wisdom and obedience that preserve inheritance.

In this season we fight low – we put our armor on, cloaked over in humility. With all of our trust and in faith, we set the humble King before us, to worship, adore, and bow before Him and pray, “Your will be done, Your Kingdom come, on earth as it is in Heaven”.

“Now I, Paul, myself am pleading with you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ—who in presence am lowly among you, but being absent am bold toward you. But I beg you that when I am present I may not be bold with that confidence by which I intend to be bold against some, who think of us as if we walked according to the flesh. For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.” ‭‭II Corinthians‬ ‭10‬:‭1‬-‭6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Birthing In The Dark

(Angelic encounter and vision)

We were all dark and void just like the earth before God spoke the Light into existence. Jesus went to the bowels of darkness and overcame death so that we may have His Light. When we receive Him, we receive His Light of Life and become children of the Light.

Any area that is still dark, void, or dim in our life needs more of Jesus, as He is the Light of the world. These are the areas that are still needing to be transfigured on this side of Heaven. “The [basis of the] judgment (indictment, the test by which men are judged, the ground for the sentence) lies in this: the Light has come into the world, and people have loved the darkness rather than and more than the Light, for their works (deeds) were evil. [Isa. 5:20.] For every wrongdoer hates (loathes, detests) the Light, and will not come out into the Light but shrinks from it, lest his works (his deeds, his activities, his conduct) be exposed and reproved. But he who practices truth [who does what is right] comes out into the Light; so that his works may be plainly shown to be what they are–wrought with God [divinely prompted, done with God’s help, in dependence upon Him].”

What’s even wilder to me is God will actually use the dark to accomplish His plans. EVERYTHING is subject to Him! Coming into this revelation is completely transformative. The darkness can not overwhelm the Light because He created it! “I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.” Isaiah‬ ‭45‬:‭7‬ ‭KJV‬‬

God separated the light from the darkness to create a division. He uses the division for resistance, boundary and exposure. The Lord has been individually working with me to bring a greater revelation on how the darkness is subject to Him. Without going into too much detail, this week has felt like something straight out of a fairytale. The fiercest ‘birthing season’ I have ever encountered. Just a few days ago while I was sleeping in the night I felt a hand grab my right arm and shake me awake. I didn’t know who or what it was, and just seconds later I felt cold go through my body. “Oh I know what that is is” I think to myself as I roll over to face it, though unafraid. I couldn’t see the demon, however as I glanced around there was physical light in my room and my eyes were drawn upward to this light, where I then saw an angel standing right beside my bed a few steps back from where the demon was. The angel’s shoulder (which reached the height of my ceiling fan) and wing were most illuminated to me, that is what I saw most clear. I then laughed, as I was receiving more of the revelation – I can not be overwhelmed by the darkness, because darkness is subject to the Lord! The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it!

Perhaps one of the greatest tests we will face head on is loving our enemy – actually realizing that sometimes they are part of the Lord’s plan to get us where we need to go. Jesus never stopped loving Judas and yet He knew this disciples fatal end. The maturity was knowing yet still loving, though painful to the heart He understood His Father’s plan. He would go to Sheol even for His betrayers, and I am so thankful because we ALL like sheep have gone astray at one juncture or another. And in that abyss of darkness our Lord overcame all betrayal, mockery, shame, rejection and despise. Only one sin He found unpardonable, “Therefore I tell you, every sin and blasphemy (every evil, abusive, injurious speaking, or indignity against sacred things) can be forgiven men, but blasphemy against the [Holy] Spirit shall not and cannot be forgiven. And whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but whoever speaks against the Spirit, the Holy One, will not be forgiven, either in this world and age or in the world and age to come.” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭12‬:‭31‬-‭32‬ ‭AMPC‬‬. The darkness is subject to it’s Creator and Light has overcome it!

This past Sunday 7.9.23, while in worship I had a vision of a giant sunflower that appeared to be “laying down” with its face toward the sun. From the heavens there was a clear jar of oil pouring over the head of the sunflower. The next day I understood the meaning as the Holy Spirit led me to the Word, “You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my [brimming] cup runs over.” ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭23‬:‭5‬ ‭AMPC‬‬. Though I may literally be surrounded in the presence of my enemies, the Lord prepares a table. I am not consumed with the presence of the enemy, I am feasting and resting in the Lord. Perhaps this is how the woman in Revelation 12 successfully birthed, quite ironically described as ‘a woman clothed with the sun’. Though there were tears and pains of labor and an awareness of the dragon who was attempting to devour what was being birthed, the assassination was not successful. For reprieve she went to the desert after birth for nourishment, as the scripture writes ‘a place prepared by God’.

If the Lord has prepared a table for you in the presence of your enemy, it is the safest place one can be. I believe this is the greatest test at this level, if one can lock eyes with the Lord here and be consumed by His Presence, even while knowing and seeing and feeling the presence of your enemy. The choice and test is ours, however the future day is at hand, everlasting joy is eminent as Song of Solomon writes of the promise, ““Who is this coming up from the wilderness Leaning upon her beloved?” “Under the apple tree I awakened you [to my love]; There your mother was in labor with you, There she was in labor and gave you birth.” ‭‭Song of Solomon‬ ‭8‬:‭5‬ ‭AMP‬‬.

Intimacy has always been and will always be our greatest weapon. I often write about how Paul mentions before putting on the full armor of God, to be ‘empowered by our union with Him’.

There is nothing greater than Jesus’ Light and Love. His love overcomes all darkness, as He swallowed it once and for all. “Put me like a seal on your heart, Like a seal on your arm; For love is as strong as death, Jealousy is as severe and cruel as Sheol (the place of the dead). Its flashes are flashes of fire, [A most vehement flame] the very flame of the Lord! Many waters cannot quench love, Nor can rivers drown it. If a man would offer all the riches of his house for love, It would be utterly scorned and despised.”” ‭‭Song of Solomon‬ ‭8‬:‭6‬-‭7‬ ‭AMP‬‬.

In this critical birthing season, will we believe the Lord? Will we trust Him? Will we put our faith in Him knowing with greater revelation that He has created darkness therefore it is subject to Him?

“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.”

“For You will light my lamp; The Lord my God will enlighten my darkness.”

ON GUARD

Though we are under a general mandate as the Global Church, there are multiple and vast travails happening at once; birthing different sized new borne heavenly promises, assignments, mindsets, even birthing a ‘new you’. We can personally be inheriting personal promises, while being at a check point corporately (or vice versa).

I have been feeling the Lord touch on this recently, even though we are under the same covering – wether the Global Church, local, or ministry – He is still a personal God and we are at different places in our walk with Him. The Lord likened this to me with this visual: we may all be at the same school, but we are not all in the same grade. In elementary school for instance you have K-5; middle school 5-8; and high school 9-12. When we do not have the maturity to see where we are at in the classroom, or the foresight to see that someone is actually grades higher than you, or perhaps not where you expect them to be yet – this is how we can fall into sin by judging others.

At least 20 years ago now I had a prophetic dream where I gave birth to a toddler. He was a big boy! At least 2 yrs old if not 3. I knew his name in the dream, and from the meaning of this toddlers name I understood what the boy represented. This physically is impossible in the natural, and so therefore it must be born of the Spirit!

In this “birthing season” it’s important to remember babies are born with different weights, lengths and sizes, often matching the call, assignment, etc of what is being birthed. The gospel is militant, and can even coincide with our birthing / intercession. Similarly some people are training with foot soldiers and it’s difficult because they are in elementary school and they have never done this before. They are learning to rise above enemies at the ground level. Some may be in the air force at middle school level or high school level. They are learning to birth while simultaneously take out strikes ’in the air’ (Ephesians 6). Others may be passing tests for their Master’s or Doctorate, singularly birthing toddlers amongst the stars while learning not cave or flinch while the dragon is breathing down their neck; they have no team but Jesus and no breath but His (Revelation 12).

So before you judge; perhaps the person you heard whimper just felt the breath of the dragon again, maybe you sensed their insecurity because they are vulnerable suspended in the heavens! Maybe the person you heard coming up gasping for air was a navy seal in training. All too often we think more highly of ourselves than we ought, and the ones you are judging are actually advancing beyond gravity while your feet are “secure” on the ground.

Graduation day is at hand, and many things will soon become reality even though it is not as it currently appears. The Lord’s eyes are upon the humble, and He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

The admonishment is to set the Lord before you. Lock with His eyes, keep guard of the delivery while knowing He is the best Guard (the glory of the Lord will be your rear guard). Do not be distracted by what others have or do not have, run YOUR race lest you trip and stumble judging someone else’s. Rule and control your own spirit, be the guardsman of what the Lord has given you to steward. If you fall in birthing season you risk the safety of your own baby! Judge not lest you be judged.

True Judgement is near and every knee will bow in Holy fear, so let us remember what team we are on, and reconcile the Lord will return for one Bride.

“A divine decision [given by God] is on the lips of the king [as His representative]; His mouth should not be unfaithful or unjust in judgment. A just balance and [honest] scales are the Lord’s; All the weights of the bag are His concern [established by His eternal principles]. The highway of the upright turns away and departs from evil; He who guards his way protects his life (soul). Pride goes before destruction, And a haughty spirit before a fall. It is better to be humble in spirit with the lowly Than to divide the spoil with the proud (haughty, arrogant). Help Is On The Way!

The Angels of Heaven are assisting with your labor and delivery! Perhaps you have felt the intensity around the protection of “the baby” (promise, dream, purpose, assignment, etc), you have even sensed the dragon waiting to snatch the baby as soon as it’s been born as mentioned in Revelation. I want to encourage you as The Lord vividly spoke to me yesterday that He is not only watching over His Word (seed) in you, though He has also sent ministering angels who are on assignment to ensure a safe delivery.

The Lord then likened to me that ‘as the doula is to the woman in birth so are the Angels of Heaven assisting those who are birthing in this hour’.

Listen to the Lord, follow Him, and obey Him. These three are the most important aspects of your delivery hour and He performs the rest (He watches over His Word to perform it). He is your delivery coach and partner in prayer, some moments ‘may appear daunting’, keep your eyes on Him – in His eyes His perfect love casts out all fear.

Remember the Lord is a finisher, and He will bring to completion what He has started. Just the other day He brought me back to the physical place of an angelic encounter that took place over three years ago, confirming what is being birthed now, “where it started so to speak”. I didn’t realize it until the Lord spoke to me about it, finding myself walking down the very same isle where the angelic encounter occurred – now seeing more details with fresh eyes and revelation. Heaven will move earth to accomplish the Lord’s plan as long as He has willing and obedient hearts. As He brought angels in the beginning so will angels be assigned to bring to completion; just as Gabriel was sent to Mary in the beginning before her pregnancy and angels sent to the Shepards after the birth of Jesus, they are heavenly bookends to our stories, to help begin and finish the Lord’s work in our lives, all for His glory.

“And concerning the angels He says, “Who makes His angels winds, And His ministering servants flames of fire [to do His bidding].”” ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭1‬:‭7‬ ‭AMP‬‬

“Bless (affectionately, gratefully praise) the Lord, you His angels, you mighty ones who do His commandments, hearkening to the voice of His word.”

“Because you have made the Lord your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place, [Ps. 91:1, 14.] There shall no evil befall you, nor any plague or calamity come near your tent. For He will give His angels [especial] charge over you to accompany and defend and preserve you in all your ways [of obedience and service]. They shall bear you up on their hands, lest you dash your foot against a stone. [Luke 4:10, 11; Heb. 1:14.]” ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭91‬:‭9‬-‭12‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

“In this [union and fellowship with Him], love is completed and perfected with us, so that we may have confidence in the day of judgment [with assurance and boldness to face Him]; because as He is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love [dread does not exist]. But perfect (complete, full-grown) love drives out fear, because fear involves [the expectation of divine] punishment, so the one who is afraid [of God’s judgment] is not perfected in love [has not grown into a sufficient understanding of God’s love].”1 John‬ ‭4‬:‭17‬-‭18‬ ‭AMP‬‬
