”Do not give that which is holy (the sacred thing) to the dogs, and do not throw your pearls before hogs, lest they trample upon them with their feet and turn and tear you in pieces.“ Matthew 7:6 AMPC
Amy’s version: do not give that which is holy to those or anything that would bark for your attention, with pretenses of loyalty and likewise do not throw your pearls of great worth before those who can not discern the meal and its quality, between that which is garbage and what is costly and timely to prepare- lest they trample, destroy, tear down what the Lord is building in and through you. Those who do not fear the Lord and discern He that is IN you, He is Holy and so is His temple within, where every sacrifice unto Him is a beautiful fragrance.
False Loyalty – Dogs eat Jezebel
Unclean and or Unwise and Undiscerning – Hogs trample Pearls of Price
In my opinion these are some of the hardest lessons.
Be innocent, unhardend and gentle as a dove
Be shrewd as serpent (Shrewd Greek φρόνιμοι (phronimoi) Strong’s 5429: Intelligent, prudent, sensible, wise. From phren; thoughtful, i.e. Sagacious or discreet; in a bad sense conceited.)
”Behold, I am sending you out like sheep in the midst of wolves; be wary and wise as serpents, and be innocent (harmless, guileless, and without falsity) as doves. [Gen. 3:1.]“ Matthew 10:16 AMPC
•Sheep learn to follow and love (hear the Lords voice, walk and obey in humility)
•Pigs are smart (intelligent though unwise) they are fleshy, selfish, and immature
•Wolves are mature but are crafty with discernment from the wrong father (satan)
•Doves are like mature sheep (soaring lambs) who become One with Spirit, they move in and soar in both realms. Their food is Love, the meal of the RISEN LAMB, they are One with Jesus.
