True and absolute strength is found in our total dependence upon Jesus.
While talking with the Lord I simply uttered “Lord, help me be strong for You”. Not in the sense that He needs my strength, how foolish is that? Though in the sense that I desire to love Him and obey well, be fully committed to Him in all things. After I said this, I immediately had a vision where I was embraced in a hug with the Lord with my head resting upon His chest. To be more than conquerors requires strength, especially in the time and age in which we live.
We can never get away from the simple truth that strength is found in our weakness. Biblical weakness glories in the strength of Jesus because in essence it reveals the decrease of man for the increase of God while wrapped in the mystery of divine union.
Connection is our source of Strength and Strength is developed in union, while empowerment is birthed from union.
Apart from Him we can do nothing.
Furthermore, I don’t want to be separated from Him.
Everything we need is just a heartbeat away. Don’t miss a beat. Stay close and remain.
“I am the Vine; you are the branches. Whoever lives in Me and I in him bears much (abundant) fruit. However, apart from Me [cut off from vital union with Me] you can do nothing.”
John 15:5 AMPC
“But He said to me, My grace (My favor and loving-kindness and mercy) is enough for you [sufficient against any danger and enables you to bear the trouble manfully]; for My strength and power are made perfect (fulfilled and completed) and show themselves most effective in [your] weakness. Therefore, I will all the more gladly glory in my weaknesses and infirmities, that the strength and power of Christ (the Messiah) may rest (yes, may pitch a tent over and dwell) upon me!” 2 Corinthians 12:9 AMPC
