DEPENDANCE

One of the most attractive qualities of the Bride is her total dependance upon Jesus.

Years ago I wrote about a vision I had, where essentially the current Church is where she is, and so far away from the Acts Church because she became untethered from the Bridegroom’s heart. In the etymology of the word dependance there is a literal meaning: “fact of hanging from something”. There is a holy attachment the Lord is restoring in this hour that I saw in a vision yesterday, and this ravishes His heart! It is His glory and delight to nourish you here, for we were always meant to exist in rhythmic harmony, two hearts as One. To find our dependance in Him is further defined as a “state of deriving existence, support, or direction from another.” From “reliance, confidence, trust.”

As the Church continues to be stripped away of the old, many will reconnect again to the Bridegroom’s heart, forming true deep attachment. In the midst of great unrest, we will find Rest. There will be no other way to rebuild or ascend. Through individual holy union (or oneness with the Lord) flames of first love will ignite. These flames will overflow into the Body, igniting corporate union, and we will build together on this highway – leading others to His heart, our Home. Dependance will have never looked so holy or healthy, for in Him is our “wholeness” and completeness.

King Jesus, we wait for You!

“For God alone my soul waits in silence and quietly submits to Him, For my hope is from Him. He only is my rock and my salvation; My fortress and my defense, I will not be shaken or discouraged. On God my salvation and my glory rest; He is my rock of [unyielding] strength, my refuge is in God. Trust [confidently] in Him at all times, O people; Pour out your heart before Him. God is a refuge for us. Selah.” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭62‬:‭5‬-‭8‬ ‭AMP‬‬

“I am standing in absolute stillness, silent before the one I love, waiting as long as it takes for him to rescue me. Only God is my Savior, and he will not fail me. For he alone is my safe place. His wraparound presence always protects me as my champion defender. There’s no risk of failure with God! So why would I let worry paralyze me, even when troubles multiply around me? God’s glory is all around me! His wraparound presence is all I need, for the Lord is my Savior, my hero, and my life-giving strength. Trust only in God every moment! Tell him all your troubles and pour out your heart-longings to him. Believe me when I tell you—he will help you! Pause in his presence” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭62‬:‭5‬-‭8‬ ‭TPT‬‬

(and no I haven’t spelt dependance incorrectly, it is pre 1800’s form of dependence though in the etymology of this word and meaning this is correct; we are returning to the “dance” 🤍)
